Home Care in West Sussex 212 home care agencies · 135 rated Good by CQC

This page sets the home care agencies in West Sussex side by side, so families can compare providers on the evidence rather than on whichever name a friend happened to mention. Two hundred and five agencies match the search, all of them registered to deliver personal care in a person's own home rather than in a residential setting. Inspection outcomes across the list include Outstanding, Good and Requires Improvement, alongside agencies not yet carrying a published rating, which is common where a provider has registered recently. West Sussex County Council is the body that carries out a care needs assessment and arranges funded support for anyone who meets the eligibility rules, so a call to the council is a sensible early step whoever expects to pay. From there, open the profiles that cover your postcode, read what inspectors recorded in the full report behind each rating, and use those findings to decide which agencies deserve a conversation about timings, tasks and cost.

- Home Care
We at RMJPI Dignity Care are proud to offer compassionate home care across Crawley and the wider West Sussex community, bringing professional support directly into the place people love most: their own home. As a dedicated home care agency serving the RH postcode area, we understand that remaining in familiar surroundings can make all the difference to a person's wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life. Our team supports individuals throughout Crawley and the surrounding South East region, delivering personalised care wherever it is needed. Because every home is unique, so too is every care plan we create. Whether someone lives alone in a quiet cul de sac, shares a family home, or resides in a retirement flat, we adapt our approach to fit seamlessly into daily routines, respecting the rhythms and preferences that make each household feel like home. The specialisms we offer reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. For older people, our carers provide gentle, dignified support with everyday tasks, from personal care and medication prompts to companionship and help around the house. Our experience in dementia care means families can feel reassured that their loved one is understood by people trained to recognise the small moments that matter, offering patience, familiarity, and calm reassurance during times that can otherwise feel confusing or overwhelming. We also support younger adults and individuals living with physical disabilities, working alongside them to promote independence rather than replace it. For those with visual or hearing impairments, our carers take the time to communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and in ways that suit each person, ensuring no one feels isolated or overlooked. Mental health support forms another important part of our offering, and we approach this with sensitivity, consistency, and genuine warmth, recognising that trust is built one visit at a time. In practice, this means residents of Crawley can rely on a familiar carer arriving at agreed times, ready to help with whatever the day requires, whether that is preparing a favourite breakfast, supporting a walk to the local shops, assisting with bathing and dressing, or simply sitting down for a chat over a cup of tea. Families gain peace of mind knowing that a professional team is quietly ensuring their relative is safe, comfortable, and cared for, even when they cannot be there themselves. Whilst RMJPI Dignity Care currently holds a status of Not Yet Rated with the Care Quality Commission, this reflects the fact that a full inspection has not yet taken place. All regulated home care providers in England are registered with and monitored by the CQC, and a rating is issued once an inspection has been carried out. In the meantime, we remain committed to the same standards of safety, effectiveness, compassion, responsiveness, and strong leadership that the CQC framework champions, and we welcome open conversations with families about how we work. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or a loved one in Crawley, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Choosing care is a deeply personal decision, and we are here to listen without pressure, answer your questions honestly, and help you feel confident about the next step. At RMJPI Dignity Care, dignity is not simply part of our name; it is the promise at the heart of everything we do.

- Home Care
Ascot Care supports people to stay in their own homes in Horsham and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Home is where most people would rather be, and our job is to make that possible for as long as it sensibly can be, with visits arranged around the day someone actually wants to live rather than around our rota. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people with mental health needs, physical disabilities and visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults building independence. We also work with people recovering from an eating disorder and with those affected by alcohol or drug misuse. That breadth means we match carers to people thoughtfully, and we keep the same small team going into a home so that familiarity has a chance to grow. A visit might be help with washing and dressing, medication, a meal, or the shopping and paperwork that quietly pile up. Just as often it is company and a proper conversation. We write our care plans with the person, not about them, and we revisit them when circumstances change, because needs rarely stay still for long. We keep in close contact with families, particularly where relatives live at a distance and worry between calls. If something changes, we tell you promptly. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you would like to talk through what support might look like, please get in touch and we will visit at a time that suits you.

- Home Care
We at Brainerd Domiciliary Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Lancing and the surrounding areas of West Sussex, supporting people to live well within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Based in the BN postcode area, our team works throughout Lancing and its neighbouring communities, bringing care directly to those who need it. Rather than asking people to adjust to a new setting, we come to you, respecting the routines, memories, and personal touches that make a house a home. Whether you live in a bungalow near the coast, a family home in a quiet residential road, or a flat closer to the town centre, our carers arrive ready to fit into your world. Our specialisms span older person care, home care support, and dedicated care for adults living with learning disabilities or autism, as well as younger adults with a range of needs. In practice, this means we tailor every visit to the individual. For an older person, that might involve gentle support with personal care, medication reminders, help preparing a favourite meal, or simply the reassurance of a friendly face during the day. For a younger adult or someone with a learning disability or autism, our approach centres on promoting independence, supporting daily routines, and enabling participation in the activities and communities that matter most to them. Families can take comfort in knowing that care plans are built around the person, not the other way around. We understand that inviting a care team into a loved one's home is a decision made with the heart as much as the head. That is why communication, consistency, and dignity sit at the core of everything we do. We work closely with families, GPs, and other health professionals to ensure that support evolves as needs change, giving relatives confidence that their loved one is in safe and attentive hands. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our latest Care Quality Commission inspection, dated February 2024, in which we were rated Good overall. We also achieved a Good rating across every one of the five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led. For families, this consistency offers meaningful reassurance. It means the regulator found our practices to be safe, our approach effective, our team genuinely caring, our response to individual needs thoughtful, and our leadership sound across the board. If you are exploring home care options in Lancing for yourself or someone you love, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We know how much thought goes into these choices, and we would be honoured to talk through how we might help, at your pace and on your terms.

- Home Care
We at Premier Nursing are proud to provide trusted home care in Arundel, West Sussex, supporting older people to live comfortably and confidently in the place they know best: their own home. As a dedicated home care agency serving the local community, we understand that choosing support for a loved one is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we are here to make that journey a little easier. Based in the historic market town of Arundel, our team is well placed to reach clients across the surrounding villages and countryside of West Sussex. Rather than asking older people to move away from familiar surroundings, we bring compassionate, professional care directly to them, whether they live in a family home nestled in the town centre, a rural cottage, or a village bungalow. Remaining at home, close to neighbours, cherished belongings, and treasured memories, can make an enormous difference to wellbeing, and our role is to make that possible for as long as it is right for each person. Our specialism lies in older person care delivered through thoughtful, personalised home visits. In practice, this means we work closely with each client and their family to understand daily routines, preferences, and the small details that matter most, from how they take their morning tea to the walk they enjoy in the afternoon. Support may include help with personal care, medication prompts, mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, and support with the everyday tasks that can become more challenging over time. For families, this often brings profound peace of mind: knowing that a familiar, friendly team is calling in regularly, keeping an eye on wellbeing, and providing gentle, respectful support means loved ones can continue to enjoy independence without feeling alone. The Care Quality Commission has rated Premier Nursing as Good overall following its most recent inspection, with Good ratings across the Safe, Effective, Caring, and Responsive domains. This reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering care that is kind, competent, and responsive to changing needs. The Well-led domain was rated as Requires Improvement, and we take that feedback seriously, using it as a genuine opportunity to strengthen our leadership, systems, and oversight so that the quality clients experience on the doorstep is consistently matched behind the scenes. We believe honest reflection is part of good care, and we are committed to continuous improvement in every aspect of what we do. If you are exploring home care options for a parent, relative, or friend in Arundel or the wider West Sussex area, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please do get in touch to arrange a friendly, no obligation conversation, so we can listen to your situation, answer your questions, and help you decide whether Premier Nursing is the right fit for your family. Whatever you decide, we hope to offer reassurance during what can feel like a very uncertain time.

We at Care 7 Main Office are proud to offer compassionate home care across Crawley and the surrounding West Sussex community, supporting people to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. As a dedicated home care agency serving the RH postcode area, we bring professional support directly to your doorstep. Operating from our Crawley base, we are ideally positioned to reach households throughout the town and wider South East region. Because our care is delivered in your own familiar surroundings, there is no need to adjust to a new environment. Instead, we come to you, fitting our support around your routines, your home comforts, and the rhythms of daily life that matter most. Whether you live in a bungalow, a family house, or a flat, our team works discreetly and respectfully within your space, always mindful that we are guests in your home. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide older person care for those who value a little extra help to remain independent, and dedicated dementia care that focuses on familiarity, patience, and gentle reassurance. For adults living with a learning disability or autism, we take the time to understand individual preferences and communication styles, building trust at a pace that feels right. We also support people with mental health needs, offering steady, non judgemental companionship alongside practical assistance. Our physical disability care is centred on enabling and dignifying, helping people move through their day with confidence, whilst our experience with visual and hearing impairment means we adapt how we communicate, orient, and reassure. Younger adults are equally welcome, and we recognise that care at any age should reflect ambitions, hobbies, and social life, not just needs. In practice, this breadth of expertise means families do not have to piece together support from multiple providers. Whether the day requires help with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, mobility assistance, or simply a friendly presence and a cup of tea, our carers arrive prepared and informed. We understand that trust is built through consistency, so we work hard to match the right people to each household and to keep familiar faces coming through the door. Care 7 Main Office is currently awaiting its first CQC inspection and therefore holds a status of Not Yet Rated. We view this as an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment from day one, working openly to the standards the Care Quality Commission expects and welcoming the scrutiny that inspection brings. Families can be assured that the absence of a published rating does not mean an absence of accountability. We follow robust internal quality checks, invest in ongoing carer training, and encourage open feedback from the people we support and their loved ones so that any concern is acted upon quickly and any success is built upon. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we know how carefully families weigh it. If you are exploring options for a parent, a partner, a sibling, or yourself, we warmly invite you to get in touch with our Crawley team. We will listen without pressure, answer your questions honestly, and help you understand what a tailored package of support could look like. Whatever the next step in your care journey, we are here to walk it alongside you with warmth, professionalism, and genuine respect.

At FirstCol, we provide home care support to people living in Crawley and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. We work with individuals who need a little extra help at home, whether that means assistance with day to day tasks, personal care, or more specialist support tailored to specific needs. Our team supports people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We understand that every person we work with has their own story, their own routines, and their own way of doing things, so we take time to listen and build support around what actually matters to each individual rather than offering a one size fits all approach. We are proud to hold a good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in every day to make sure people feel safe, respected, and well looked after in their own homes. That rating matters to us not just as an external measure but as a reflection of the trust our clients and their families place in us. Home care done well means being reliable, communicative, and honest. It means turning up when we say we will, being transparent when things need to change, and always keeping the person receiving care at the centre of every decision. We take that responsibility seriously. We know that inviting someone into your home, or supporting a loved one to do so, is a significant step. Our aim is to make that process as straightforward and reassuring as possible, so that people can get on with living their lives with the right support behind them. If you would like to find out more about how we can help, we are always happy to have a conversation.

PTsmart Care is a home care agency in Horsham, supporting adults in their own homes across the area. We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment and people managing a mental health condition. Calls range from a short morning visit through to several a day, covering personal care, medication, meals, help to move about the home safely, shopping, appointments and company. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet been given an overall rating. We prefer to say that openly and would encourage anyone considering us to meet the manager and ask for references. Our starting point is how a person already manages. Most people have arranged their own days for decades and have firm views about what they want help with and what they would rather keep doing themselves, even when it takes longer. We fill in the gaps rather than reorganise a life that mostly works. If you are arranging care at home locally, please get in touch and we will come out and discuss it.

We are Carely Chichester, and we provide care in people's own homes across Chichester and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. We support older people and younger adults, and the aim in both cases is the same: enough of the right help, at the right times, for somebody to carry on living where they want to live. Home carries a great deal with it. Your own routine, your own kitchen, neighbours who notice you, the freedom to decide when to get up and what to have for tea. Losing those things is a genuine loss, and very often it can be put off for a long while with support that is reliable and well matched. Every arrangement begins with a conversation in the person's own home. What does a normal day look like now? What has become difficult? What do you still want to manage yourself, and where would a hand actually help? We build the visits from those answers and adjust them as circumstances move. Support might mean help with washing and dressing, a prompt with medication, a meal cooked and shared, help getting safely about, or assistance with shopping and appointments. We keep carers as consistent as we can, because care is easier to accept from someone you recognise. We are newly registered and have not yet had an overall rating published by the Care Quality Commission. We would rather say so ourselves, and we are glad to answer any question about how we recruit and train.

St Juliana's is a home care agency in Bognor Regis, supporting people in their own homes across this part of West Sussex. We work with older people and younger adults, including people who have a learning disability, autistic people and people living with a physical disability. Our starting assumption is that the people we support are running their own lives and we are there to make that practical. For many of the younger adults we work with, that means a tenancy of their own, control over their own money and food, and the ordinary freedoms any adult expects. Behind it sits help with personal care, cooking, managing bills, getting to appointments, travel, and the officialdom that defeats most people. We try to do as little as necessary and as much as is genuinely needed. Support that takes over is simpler to deliver and much worse for the person, so we pay attention to what people have stopped needing us for. For older people the work is usually different in character: practical help at each end of the day so that staying at home remains possible, with the same carers wherever we can manage it. Where a physical disability is involved, we learn each person's preferred way of being assisted to move. The Care Quality Commission has not yet given us an overall rating. Talk to us and we will be realistic about what we can offer and what we cannot.

At Leah Care, we provide home care to people across Horsham and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. Our aim is simple: to support people in living well in their own homes, with the right care in place at the right time. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older people, younger adults, and those living with dementia, learning disabilities or autism, mental health conditions, visual or hearing impairments, and those navigating recovery from alcohol or drug misuse. Every person who comes to us has a different story and a different set of needs, and we take the time to understand what matters most to each individual before any care begins. Home care works best when it feels personal rather than clinical, and that is what we strive to provide. Whether someone needs a little help around the home, support with daily routines, or more complex ongoing care, we build our approach around the person rather than a fixed package. Families can feel reassured knowing that the people supporting their loved ones are attentive, consistent, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort our whole team puts in every day. We do not take that lightly, and we continue to look for ways to improve and grow. If you are looking for home care in Horsham or the wider West Sussex area, whether for yourself or someone you care about, we would be very happy to have a conversation about how we can help. Getting in touch is the first step, and there is no pressure or obligation involved. We are here to listen and to help you work out what the right support might look like.

Lapwing Court, part of London Care, provides care and support to people in their own homes in Chichester and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Our work is arranged around the life somebody already leads, and the aim is to make staying at home a realistic option. The people we support are varied. Older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals or getting safely about the house. People living with dementia, where familiarity and patience are worth more than anything else. Adults with a learning disability or autism, where the aim is to build confidence rather than to do things for people. People living with mental health conditions, where a steady relationship and early attention to changes count for most. People with physical disabilities, and people with a visual or hearing impairment, where we adapt how we assist and how we communicate. We also support people affected by alcohol or drug misuse, without judgement and at the pace they set, along with younger adults whose weeks revolve around work, study and family. We keep the group of workers visiting each person as small as we can, because relationships do the real work here. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are Alina Homecare in Chichester, and we provide support to people living in their own homes across the city and the wider West Sussex area. Our work is straightforward in intention: to help people stay where they want to be, doing as much for themselves as they still can. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people with a physical disability. A visit might be half an hour to help someone get up, washed and dressed, or it might be several hours covering personal care, support with medication, meals, laundry and a trip out. Some people want us every day, others only at the points in the week where they struggle. Both are fine, and we would rather get the amount right than sell anybody more than they need. We put a good deal of effort into matching carers to households and then keeping that match steady. Care at home only works when the person opening the door knows who is on the other side of it, remembers how the tea is made and notices when something is not quite right. The Care Quality Commission has not yet issued an overall rating for us here. We are glad to talk through our training, our supervision arrangements and how we respond when something goes wrong. If you would like to discuss support at home in and around Chichester, please get in touch and we will arrange a conversation.

At Crossroads Care South Central, we provide home care to people living in Littlehampton and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. Our aim is straightforward: to support people to live well in their own homes, with the right help at the right time, in a way that respects their independence and their preferences. We work with a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, and eating disorders. Every person we support has a different story and different needs, and we take the time to understand both before we put anything in place. Home care means something different to each person we visit. For some, it might mean support with personal care and daily routines. For others, it is about having someone reliable to turn to, or maintaining connections with the community. Whatever that looks like for the individual, we try to make sure our support fits around their life rather than the other way around. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our team puts in day to day. It means a great deal to us, not as a badge, but as confirmation that the people we support and their families feel safe and well looked after. We know that inviting someone into your home, or arranging care for a loved one, is not always an easy decision. We try to make that process as straightforward and as honest as possible. If you would like to find out more about how we might be able to help, we would always welcome a conversation.

- Home Care
Vitale Care Chichester provides care and support to people in their own homes, working from Sidlesham and covering the surrounding part of West Sussex. Home care is what we do and the only thing we do. People come to us because they want to carry on living where they are, with their own belongings and their own way of running a day, helped just enough to make that manageable. Our job is to provide that help without taking the household over. Everything begins with a visit and an unhurried conversation. What does the day look like now, what has become difficult, and what does the person want to keep doing for themselves. From that we agree what support happens, when and who provides it, with family or an advocate involved whenever somebody wants them there. Visits can cover personal care, help with medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping and errands, getting to appointments, and company for people whose days have become very quiet. Company is not an extra in our view and we do not treat it as one. We are stubborn about two things. Turning up when we said we would, and sending somebody who already knows the person and the household. Between them they account for almost everything that separates home care that helps from home care that is merely endured. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please give us a ring if you would like to talk things through.

- Home Care
Steps 2 supports autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities in their own homes in Worthing and the surrounding area. What our support is for is widening somebody's life rather than managing it. That means asking how a person wants things done and then doing it their way, even when another way would be quicker for us, and spending time alongside somebody while they do a thing themselves rather than doing it on their behalf. We would far rather spend an hour helping a person learn something than ten minutes doing it for them. Support covers the ordinary business of a life: cooking, shopping, managing money and bills, keeping appointments, travelling about, getting to work or college, keeping in touch with family and friends, and personal care and medication where that is needed. How much we do and how much we stand back is agreed with the person and revisited as they move forward. Communication is the foundation. Not everybody we support uses speech, and learning how an individual shows what they want, and what they refuse, comes before every other decision. We record what we learn so the whole team responds in the same way, and we keep support teams small so the same people come back. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.

Guardian Angel Carers Worthing provides care at home for people in Worthing and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Our visits range from a short call to start the day through to several each day and longer periods of support, and what we do is agreed with the person rather than offered as a fixed package. For older people we help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see friends. Often the most valuable part of a visit is the company: sitting down properly with somebody rather than working through a list and leaving. For people living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting wherever the rota allows, work with the routine the household already has and avoid moving things about in a home somebody knows well. For people with a physical disability we help with moving safely and with managing day to day as independently as possible, and where there is sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and always say who we are and what we are doing. We also support younger adults, fitting visits around work, study and family life. Our care workers are trained for the people they visit, and we keep teams as settled as the rota allows because a familiar face changes how a visit goes. Please ring us if you would like to talk it through.

We at Coastal Homecare (Worthing) are proud to offer compassionate home care to individuals and families across Worthing and the surrounding West Sussex communities. Our mission is simple: to help people live safely, comfortably, and independently in the place they love most, their own home. Based in the BN postcode area on the beautiful South East coast, we deliver care where it matters most, on your doorstep. Whether your loved one lives in a quiet residential street, a seafront flat, or a family home tucked away in a Worthing suburb, our team travels to you, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a genuine personal touch to every visit. Familiar surroundings, treasured belongings, and daily routines all play an important role in wellbeing, and we work hard to preserve them. Our care is thoughtfully tailored to a wide range of needs. We support older adults who value a little extra help with day to day living, as well as younger adults navigating their own care journeys. For families affected by dementia, our approach is patient, calm, and reassuring, focusing on dignity and gentle routine. We also provide care for people with learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. In practice, this means our carers take time to understand each person as an individual, adapting how they communicate, support, and encourage independence in ways that truly suit the person in front of them. For families, this breadth of experience offers real peace of mind. Choosing home care can feel like a significant step, and we understand the weight of that decision. Whether you are looking for companionship visits, help with personal care, medication support, mobility assistance, or more complex ongoing support, we work closely with you to build a care plan that reflects your loved one's preferences, personality, and pace of life. Family involvement is always welcomed, and open communication sits at the heart of everything we do. Quality and safety are non negotiable for us. Our most recent CQC inspection, carried out in July 2022, awarded us an overall rating of Good, with Good ratings across all five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this independent recognition offers reassurance that the care we deliver is not only warm and personal but also safe, well organised, and led by people committed to doing the right thing. We treat this rating as both an achievement and a responsibility, continually striving to learn, improve, and put the people we support first. If you are exploring home care options in Worthing for yourself or someone you love, we would be delighted to hear from you. Reach out for a friendly, no obligation conversation, and let us help you take the next step with confidence, clarity, and kindness.

We at Home Instead Worthing and Steyning are proud to provide compassionate home care across Worthing, Steyning and the surrounding communities of West Sussex. As a dedicated home care agency, we bring professional, personalised support directly to where our clients feel most comfortable: their own homes. Operating throughout the BN postcode area, we cover a beautiful stretch of the South East coast and countryside, from the seafront neighbourhoods of Worthing to the historic market town of Steyning and the surrounding villages. This local knowledge allows us to be responsive, familiar, and genuinely connected to the people we support. Whether a client lives in a coastal apartment, a family home, or a quiet rural cottage, our care comes to them, preserving the routines, surroundings, and memories that matter most. Our care is built around the belief that home is more than a place; it is where independence, dignity, and identity live. We specialise in older person care and home care, offering tailored support that adapts to each individual's needs and wishes. For families considering options for an ageing loved one, this means knowing that mornings can still begin with a favourite cup of tea in a familiar kitchen, afternoons can include walks along well known paths, and evenings can remain peaceful and undisturbed. We also provide specialist dementia care, supporting clients to live well with memory loss in the surroundings they know best. Familiar environments can be deeply reassuring for someone living with dementia, and our approach focuses on gentle routines, meaningful engagement, and calm, consistent companionship. We work closely with families so that everyone feels informed, included, and supported throughout the journey. Our expertise extends to adults living with learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also support younger adults who benefit from tailored care that respects their independence and personal goals. In practice, this means matching each client with caregivers who understand their preferences, communicate in ways that suit them, and provide the right balance of practical help and genuine companionship. From assistance with personal care, medication, and mobility to support with hobbies, social outings, and everyday tasks, our care is shaped entirely around the individual. For families, this personalised approach offers something invaluable: peace of mind. Knowing that a trusted caregiver is visiting a parent, partner, or relative, providing not only practical support but also warmth and conversation, can ease the worry that often accompanies caring from afar. We aim to be a steady, reliable presence, working in partnership with families to keep loved ones safe, comfortable, and engaged with the world around them. Our quality of care is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of Good across every domain assessed at our most recent inspection in June 2019. We were rated Good for being safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led. This consistent recognition reassures families that the care we provide meets the high standards expected by the national regulator, and reflects the values our team brings to every visit: professionalism, kindness, and respect. Choosing care for someone you love is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand that it often comes with many questions. We are here to listen, to guide, and to help you find the right way forward. Whether you are seeking a few hours of companionship each week, regular daily visits, or more comprehensive support, we would be glad to talk with you, learn about your loved one, and explore how we can help them continue living life on their own terms, at home, in the community they know.

We at Verve Homecare Sussex are proud to provide compassionate home care across Littlehampton and the surrounding West Sussex communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the BN postcode area, our team works throughout Littlehampton and nearby villages, bringing personalised support directly to residents' doorsteps. Rather than asking people to adjust to a new environment, we come to you, weaving our care around the rhythms of your daily life, your familiar surroundings, and the community you love. Whether you live in a bungalow near the seafront, a family home in a quiet residential street, or a flat in the town centre, we tailor our visits to suit your household and your preferences. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We offer dedicated older person care for those who value their independence but need a helping hand with daily routines, from morning assistance and medication prompts to companionship and meal preparation. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, our carers bring patience, gentle consistency, and a deep understanding of how familiar routines and calm reassurance can make each day feel more settled. We also provide mental health support, working alongside individuals to promote wellbeing, encourage confidence, and offer steady, non judgemental company during more difficult periods. Beyond care for older adults, we support younger adults and people living with physical disabilities, recognising that meaningful care is about far more than practical tasks. It is about enabling people to pursue their interests, maintain relationships, and shape a life that feels genuinely their own. Whether that means support with personal care, assistance getting out into the community, or help managing the practicalities of a busy household, our approach is always led by the person, not the paperwork. Our most recent CQC inspection, carried out in May 2026, rated us Good overall, with Good ratings across every domain assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this consistency matters. It reflects a team that not only delivers kind and attentive care but also listens, adapts, and takes seriously the responsibility of being welcomed into someone's home. Trust is not something we take lightly, and the feedback captured through inspection reinforces our commitment to keeping standards high across every visit. Choosing home care can feel like a significant step, and we understand that families often carry a mix of hope, worry, and questions when they begin their search. If you are exploring options for a loved one in Littlehampton or the wider West Sussex area, we would be glad to talk things through at your pace, answer any questions you have, and help you understand what good home care can look like. We also work with younger adults who benefit from tailored, enabling support that promotes confidence, dignity and meaningful daily living. New Venture Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Littlehampton and across West Sussex. We work with older people, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions and younger adults who want to live independently. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Support should fit around a person's life rather than reshape it, so we start by asking what someone wants their week to look like and what currently gets in the way. For some people that means a short call each morning to get the day started properly. For others it means regular support with personal care, medication, meals and getting out into the community. For others again it is help to keep a tenancy, manage money and stay well through difficult periods. We match carers thoughtfully, because who turns up matters as much as what they do, and we keep our rounds local so that people see familiar faces. Carers complete training before working unsupervised and are supported by senior colleagues who visit, supervise and review. Where there are risks we plan for them honestly rather than restricting someone's life by default, and we work alongside families, social workers and health colleagues so that support stays joined up. If you would like to talk through the options, please get in touch and we will come and see you.

At Hasz Homecare, we provide personalised home care to people across Crawley and the wider West Sussex area. Our work centres on helping individuals live comfortably and independently in their own homes, with support that fits around their lives rather than the other way around. We support a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Because no two people are the same, we take the time to get to know each person properly before care begins, building a clear picture of what matters most to them day to day. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in to getting things right. It means a great deal to us, but we also know that maintaining high standards requires consistency and honesty, not just a single inspection. We hold ourselves to that standard every day. Our carers are chosen carefully, trained thoroughly, and supported well. We believe that when staff feel respected and valued, that comes through in the care they deliver. The relationships our carers build with the people they visit are at the heart of everything we do. If you are exploring care options for yourself or a loved one, we understand that it can feel like a big step. We try to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible, taking time to answer questions and ensuring that whoever comes through our door, so to speak, feels listened to and understood. We are based in Crawley and are very much part of this local community. If you would like to find out more about how we can help, we would be very happy to hear from you.

At Ideal Complex Care, we provide home care support to people living in Crawley and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also support people managing eating disorders and those recovering from alcohol or drug misuse. Because our work spans such varied needs, we put a great deal of thought into matching the right care worker to each person we support. We believe that receiving care at home should feel exactly that — like home. People deserve to keep their routines, their independence, and their sense of self, and everything we do is shaped around that belief. We take the time to understand what matters most to each individual, not just their care needs on paper but the things that make their day feel good. Our team has received a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our care workers and coordinators put in day to day. We do not take that lightly. We know that families place enormous trust in us when they invite us into their loved ones' homes, and we try to honour that trust in the way we communicate, the way we plan care, and the way we respond when things change. If you are looking for home care support for yourself or someone close to you, we would be glad to have a conversation about how we might help. We are based in Crawley and are familiar with the local community, which we think makes a genuine difference to the care we are able to provide. We support people in their own homes in Crawley and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Most of the people we visit are older adults, including many living with dementia, and we also support people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who need help to manage independently. Care at home works when the detail is right. Which arm goes into the sleeve first. Whether the tea is made before or after the tablets. Whether somebody wants to chat in the morning or would rather not speak until they have woken up properly. We write these things down, we pass them between carers, and we follow them, because getting them wrong quietly undermines everything else we do. For people with a hearing or sight impairment we agree at the start how we will announce ourselves and communicate, and we keep to it. A carer who arrives and simply starts talking has already made the visit harder than it needed to be. We are not yet rated overall by the Care Quality Commission, and we prefer to state that clearly. In the meantime we are open about how we recruit, train and check our carers, and families are welcome to ask. We would rather earn confidence through what people experience week to week than through anything we could claim here.

At KD Healthcare, we provide home care support to people living in Burgess Hill and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. Our aim is straightforward: to help people remain comfortable, safe and as independent as possible in their own homes, in a way that genuinely works for them. We support a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Because the people we work with have such varied needs and life experiences, we take time to understand what matters to each individual before we do anything else. Care looks different for everyone, and we think it should. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good. That outcome reflects the everyday efforts of our team and the trust that the people we support, and their families, place in us. We do not take that trust lightly. What we find makes the biggest difference is consistency. People want to see familiar faces, feel heard, and know that whoever comes through their door actually knows them. We work hard to make sure that is the experience we deliver, not just at the start of someone's care journey but throughout it. We also recognise that arranging care for a loved one or for yourself can feel daunting. We try to make that process as straightforward and transparent as possible, and we are always happy to have an honest conversation about whether we are the right fit for what someone needs. If you would like to find out more about how we can help, we would love to hear from you. We are based in Burgess Hill and we are here to support our local community.

We provide care at home across Horsham and the surrounding parts of West Sussex, supporting older adults and younger adults, including people with a learning disability and autistic adults. Covering a town and the villages around it means our rounds involve real distances, and we build our schedules accordingly. Allowing proper travelling time between calls is not a small administrative matter. A rota that only works when nothing goes wrong produces late and hurried visits, and hurried visits are where things get missed. For older people our support usually centres on keeping a household and a routine going: personal care, help with medication, meals, shopping, and a familiar person who notices when something has changed. For adults with a learning disability and autistic adults the emphasis is often different, leaning towards independence, routine, getting out, and support that steps back as somebody grows in confidence. We put thought into which care worker goes to which home. This is intimate work carried out in somebody's private space, and it only really works when the relationship does, so we match people carefully and then keep them together. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good. If you are looking into care at home in this area, do get in touch and we will talk through honestly what would help.

- Home Care
We at Ashton Domiciliary Care Agency are proud to provide compassionate home care across Bognor Regis and the surrounding communities of West Sussex. As a trusted domiciliary care provider, we bring professional, person centred support directly into the homes of those who need it, allowing our clients to remain in the familiar surroundings they love. Operating from the heart of Bognor Regis in the PO postcode area, our team is well placed to reach households throughout the town and its neighbouring coastal and rural areas. Because we are a home care agency, the true environment of our care is your own home, whether that is a family house, a bungalow, or a flat. We understand that the walls, gardens, photographs, and cherished belongings of home hold enormous emotional value, and our role is to enhance daily life within that setting rather than disrupt it. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. We support older people who may need a helping hand with daily routines, from personal care and medication reminders to companionship and meal preparation. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, we offer patient, understanding care that focuses on dignity, gentle routine, and preserving independence for as long as possible. We also support younger adults living with a range of needs, as well as individuals managing mental health conditions, providing steady, respectful assistance that helps people live confidently and safely at home. In practice, this means our clients receive care that is shaped around them. Whether someone requires a short daily visit to help start the morning, ongoing support throughout the day, or more comprehensive care for complex needs, we work closely with individuals and their loved ones to build a plan that feels right. Families often tell us that knowing a familiar, kind face is calling in brings enormous peace of mind, particularly when they cannot always be there in person. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection, where we were awarded an overall rating of Good. We are especially proud to have achieved an Outstanding rating for being Responsive, a recognition that speaks to how attentively we listen, adapt, and tailor our care to each person we support. Alongside this, we were rated Good across the Safe, Effective, Caring, and Well led domains, giving families reassurance that the care we deliver is dependable, thoughtful, and led with integrity. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand the mix of emotions that comes with it. If you are exploring options for yourself or a loved one in Bognor Regis or the wider West Sussex area, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch to discuss your needs, ask any questions, and discover how our team can bring warmth, professionalism, and genuine care into your home.

Apex Prime Care in Worthing is a home care agency supporting people in their own homes across Worthing and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. We visit older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with a physical disability, people with visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults. Home care works best when it fits around the person rather than the other way round. We start by asking what someone actually wants help with, which is often not what a referral form says. It might be getting washed and dressed in the morning, prompting and support with medication, help preparing meals, or company and a hand with shopping. For some people it is a short period of extra support after illness. For others it is a long standing arrangement that quietly holds everything together. We put real effort into continuity. Knowing which carer is coming, and having that carer already know how you take your tea and which shoulder is painful, matters more than any policy document. Where someone lives with dementia or has sensory impairment, familiarity is not a nicety, it is the thing that makes the visit work at all. We keep families informed, and we raise concerns promptly if we notice a change, whether that is a pressure area, weight loss or someone becoming low in mood. If you are considering support at home in Worthing, please contact us and we will go through the options honestly, including where we may not be the right fit.

- Home Care
We at Southern Counties Caring are proud to provide compassionate home care to individuals and families across Crawley and the wider West Sussex area. As a dedicated home care agency, we bring professional, person centred support directly into the place where people feel most comfortable: their own home. Operating throughout the RH postcode area and the surrounding communities of the South East, our team travels to those who need us, whether that is a short daily visit or more comprehensive ongoing support. By delivering care in familiar surroundings, we help residents maintain the routines, relationships, and sense of independence that mean so much to their wellbeing. Our approach is shaped by the breadth of people we support. We provide older person care and specialist dementia care, offering patience, understanding, and consistency to those living with memory loss and their loved ones. For younger adults and individuals with a learning disability or autism, we focus on tailored support that respects each person's goals, communication style, and daily preferences. We also assist people managing mental health conditions, physical disabilities, eating disorders, and challenges relating to alcohol or drug misuse, always with dignity, discretion, and without judgement. In practice, this means our care plans are never one size fits all. We take time to listen to each individual and their family, understanding what a good day looks like for them and building support around those priorities. Whether that involves help with personal care, medication, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, or specialist clinical needs, our aim is to ease the pressure on families whilst empowering the person we care for to live as fully and safely as possible. Families can also take reassurance from our Care Quality Commission rating. Following our most recent inspection in November 2021, we were rated Good overall, with a Good rating across every one of the five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent standard reflects a culture where safety, kindness, and strong leadership sit at the heart of everything we do. Choosing home care is an important decision, and we understand the trust it takes to invite a care team into a loved one's life. If you are exploring options in Crawley or elsewhere across West Sussex, we would be delighted to have a conversation, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about the next step. Whatever your circumstances, we at Southern Counties Caring are here to listen, to guide, and to care.

Brendoncare Stildon Mews provides care and support to older people living in their own homes in and around East Grinstead, West Sussex. Our work is straightforward to describe and takes real care to do well. We help people carry on living where they want to live, with as much support as they need and no more. Every arrangement begins with a proper conversation. We want to understand how somebody likes their day to run, what they still manage perfectly well themselves and where a hand would genuinely make a difference. That becomes a written plan in plain language which we follow and which we revisit as circumstances change rather than leaving it filed away. Support can cover personal care, help with medication, preparing meals, household tasks, shopping, getting to appointments and simply spending time with someone. Company matters as much as practical help for many older people, and we treat it as part of the job rather than an extra. Continuity is something we protect. Keeping the team around each person small means familiar faces at predictable times, and carers who know someone well notice when things are different and can raise a concern early. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk things through.

St Georges Home Care supports people in their own homes in Shoreham by Sea and across the surrounding parts of West Sussex. We work with a broad range of people. Older adults who want to stay independent with some help. People living with dementia. Younger adults and people with a physical disability. People living with a visual or hearing impairment. People managing a mental health condition or an eating disorder, and people working through difficulties with alcohol or drug misuse. Care at home only succeeds when it is built around the person's own week rather than around our convenience, so we start by asking what would genuinely make a difference and what somebody would still rather manage alone. We write that down in plain terms and then we do it, and if it stops being the right plan we say so and change it. Where the support involves mental health, eating difficulties or substance use, trust has to be earned slowly. We keep the team around each person small and familiar, we are discreet about what we know, and we take our lead from the person rather than deciding on their behalf. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet been given an overall rating. Please ask us searching questions about our staff, our training and our reliability. We would rather earn your confidence than assume it.

We are Bluebird Care covering the Sussex Weald, working from Burgess Hill and supporting people in their own homes across the area. We work with older people and people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need support to manage at home. Our visits are built to be unhurried. A great deal of what makes home care worth having happens around the practical task rather than in it, in the conversation while the kettle boils or on the walk to the postbox, and that simply does not happen in a rushed quarter of an hour. We would rather do fewer things properly than tick off a list. We give thought to which carer goes to which household, and then keep that arrangement steady so a genuine relationship can build. It is better care, and it is also how somebody comes to trust us enough to accept help with the more personal things. Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation at home, with family involved if the person wants that. We write the plan together and revisit it as things change. Our carers are trained and supervised, and we liaise with GPs, district nurses and social workers. Our most recent CQC overall rating is good. Please call us to talk about care at home.

We are London Care, and this is our team working in Chichester and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. We support adults in their own homes, with visits ranging from a single short call each day through to several hours of support. We help older people with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the household jobs that become harder with time. We support adults living with dementia, where familiar faces arriving at predictable times do more good than anything else we can offer. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. We support people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug use, working without judgement and alongside the professionals involved, and younger adults who want help that steps back as they take on more themselves. Everything starts with a visit and a proper conversation at home, with family or an advocate present if that is wanted. Where risk is part of the picture we discuss it openly and look for ways to support somebody safely rather than simply saying no. We are Voyage, and this team provides support to adults in their own homes in and around Crawley. We work with people whose needs vary a great deal, and we build the support around the individual rather than fitting them into something we already run. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss, along with older people who need help to carry on living at home. Many of those we support are younger adults who are working out how to run a household of their own. In practice that covers personal care where it is needed, medication, health appointments, cooking, shopping, cleaning, budgeting and keeping a tenancy going. Just as importantly, it covers the things that make a week worth having, whether that is work, volunteering, a course, a club, the gym or seeing friends and family. Our aim is to work out what somebody can do, what they want to learn and where they genuinely need us, and then to step back wherever stepping back is right. We pay close attention to how each person communicates and record what works so it is not lost when the rota changes. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Please get in touch.

We provide care at home in Bognor Regis and along this stretch of the West Sussex coast. We support older adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. A good deal of our thinking goes into how long a visit should be. Fifteen minutes is enough to complete a task and not enough to do it properly with somebody who is frail, in pain, or simply slow first thing in the morning. So we would rather agree fewer, longer calls than a schedule full of short ones that look efficient on paper and feel like being processed. We also pay attention to what happens between our visits, since that is most of a person's day. Are the tablets where they can reach them. Is there something in the fridge they can manage alone. Has the post piled up. Small things, but they are usually what decides whether somebody is coping or quietly struggling, and our carers are asked to notice them and say so. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat that as a baseline rather than a finish, and we would rather a family rang us about something small in the week it happened than mentioned it months later to somebody else.

We come to you, helping you stay in the comfort and familiarity of your own home while receiving the support you need to live well day to day. We work with a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We understand that no two people are the same, and we take the time to get to know each person properly before putting any support in place. Care is built around the individual, not the other way around. Our team takes a straightforward, respectful approach. We are honest with the people we support and with their families, and we keep communication open throughout. When someone invites us into their home, we treat that as a privilege, and we behave accordingly. That means turning up when we say we will, listening carefully, and adapting as needs change over time. We know that choosing home care is a significant decision, often made during a stressful or uncertain time. We try to make the process as straightforward as possible from the very first conversation. Whether someone needs a little help around the house, support with personal care, or more complex assistance, we are here to talk through the options without any pressure. Our work covers older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, people managing mental health conditions and people with a physical disability. Every arrangement begins with a visit and a proper conversation about what is actually difficult, what the person wants to keep doing for themselves and what help would make the greatest difference. Support planned any other way tends to fit the agency rather than the household, and it rarely lasts. The help itself can include personal care, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, shopping, laundry and housework, and support to get out to appointments, education or activities. Arrangements are reviewed as circumstances change. Our carers are trained for the needs they support and supervised in the work, and we keep the same people visiting the same households wherever the rota allows. We provide care in people's own homes across the area between Rustington and Chichester, working from Littlehampton. Our support covers older people, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss and younger adults. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We mention it and then get on with the work, because a rating describes what a team has already done and says nothing about tomorrow morning. What the work involves is mostly unglamorous. Arriving when we said we would. Sending the same carers to the same households so that trust has a chance to form. Handing over properly so nobody has to explain themselves twice. Saying early when something has changed rather than waiting for a family to notice. Before care starts we come out and talk. We want to know how a day already runs, what somebody wants help with and what they would rather keep doing for themselves. Independence handed over unnecessarily is very hard to get back, and a good plan protects it. Bright Care Recruitment provides care and support at home in Haywards Heath and the surrounding part of West Sussex. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Most people would rather stay in their own home, among their own things and their own neighbours, and with the right support a great many can. Our job is to make that practical rather than theoretical. Support might be a single morning call to help somebody wash, dress and start the day safely, or several visits covering personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and a check in the evening. Consistency is what we work hardest at. Care at home falls apart when the face at the door keeps changing, so we build small teams around each person and protect them. For people living with dementia that familiarity matters more than anything else we could offer. Where somebody has a physical disability we learn how their equipment is used and how they prefer to be helped to move, and we follow their way of doing things. Where somebody has a sight or hearing impairment we adapt how we communicate and take care to leave the home exactly as they expect to find it. If you are considering care at home in the Haywards Heath area, for yourself or for a relative, we are happy to come out and talk it over honestly, including telling you if we are not the right fit.

Corbett Court is a home care agency supporting people in Burgess Hill and across this part of West Sussex. We visit people in their own homes and we arrange calls around the way someone already lives rather than around what suits a rota. We support older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals, shopping and getting out safely, and people living with dementia, where a familiar face and a calm pace are worth more than any amount of written guidance. We also work with people living with a physical disability, where good support is mostly about restoring practical independence, and people with sight or hearing loss, where sensible adjustments change how a whole day feels. We support younger adults too, whose priorities often have far more to do with getting on with ordinary life than with being kept safe indoors. Keeping the same carers with the same people is something we plan for rather than leave to chance. It means nobody explains themselves twice, and it means our team notice early when someone is unsteady, eating less or simply not themselves. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat that as a standard to hold rather than something to advertise. We at S&R Care Services are proud to offer compassionate home care across Crawley and the surrounding West Sussex communities, supporting people who wish to remain safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. As a dedicated home care provider, we bring personalised support directly to your doorstep, wherever you are in the RH postcode area. Based in the heart of Crawley, we are ideally positioned to reach families throughout the town and the wider South East region. Rather than asking loved ones to adapt to a new environment, our team travels to them, allowing residents to continue enjoying familiar surroundings, treasured possessions, cherished routines, and the comfort of their own community. Whether someone lives in a family home, a bungalow, or sheltered accommodation, our care fits seamlessly around their life. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide dedicated older person care, offering everything from companionship and help with daily routines to more comprehensive assistance for those whose needs have grown over time. Our dementia care is delivered with patience, gentleness, and a deep understanding of how important consistency and reassurance are for those living with memory loss. Family members often tell us how much peace of mind it brings to know a familiar, well trained carer is visiting regularly, following approaches that reduce anxiety and preserve dignity. For adults living with a physical disability, we offer practical, respectful support that focuses on independence rather than limitation. This might include assistance with mobility, personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, or simply being there to make daily life easier and more enjoyable. We also support younger adults, recognising that care needs are not defined by age and that every person deserves a plan built around their own goals, interests, and aspirations. What this means in practice is a genuinely tailored approach. We take time to understand each individual before care begins, listening carefully to the person receiving support and to the family members who know them best. From short visits to more extensive daily care, our packages flex around real life. Families frequently say the greatest gift we provide is time: time to be a son or daughter again rather than a full time carer, time to rest, and time to enjoy shared moments without worry. As a newer registered provider, S&R Care Services is currently listed as Not Yet Rated by the Care Quality Commission. This simply means an initial inspection has not yet taken place, which is standard for agencies at this stage of their registration journey. We operate to the same rigorous standards expected of every regulated provider in England, with policies, training, and safeguarding practices designed to meet and exceed CQC expectations. We welcome open conversations about our approach and are always happy to share how we work, how our carers are recruited and trained, and how we monitor the quality of every visit. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand the mix of emotions that comes with it. Whether you are exploring options for a parent whose needs are gradually changing, arranging support following a hospital stay, or seeking regular assistance for a younger adult in the family, we are here to listen without pressure. Please get in touch to arrange a friendly, no obligation conversation. We would be honoured to discuss how our team at S&R Care Services can bring reassurance, warmth, and practical support into your loved one's daily life, right here in Crawley.

Claimont Health provides care and support to people in their own homes in Haywards Heath and the surrounding part of West Sussex. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions or an eating disorder, people with a physical disability, and people dealing with alcohol or drug misuse. Supporting people with these needs at home takes a careful approach and staff who are trained for what they are actually doing. We start with a visit and a proper conversation about what is difficult, what the person wants to keep doing for themselves and what would make the greatest difference, and we agree the arrangement with them rather than handing it over. Our support can include personal care, prompting and help with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, practical tasks around the home, and support to get out to appointments and activities. For many of the people we work with, a reliable and steady presence without judgement attached is the most valuable part. We keep teams consistent wherever the rota allows and work closely with the health professionals involved so that support is joined up. If you are considering care at home in this area, please contact us and we will arrange to visit.

We are Egalite Care, a home care agency supporting adults in their own homes across Worthing and this part of West Sussex. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of that and also clear about what it means. It is not a promise that nothing will ever go wrong. It reflects the fact that we know the people we support well, that our workers are properly trained and supervised, and that when something needs putting right we deal with it rather than explaining it away. We support older people and people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities or autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want help to live independently. Support might be a single call each morning or several visits covering personal care, medication, meals, housework and company. We start by asking what somebody actually wants from us and what they would rather keep doing for themselves, and we keep the same small group of workers around each person wherever we can. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about support at home, and ask us whatever you wish.

- Home Care
DORZ Care supports people in their own homes across Crawley and the surrounding part of West Sussex. We work with older people and with younger adults who need a hand to manage at home. Most people come to us because something has changed, whether that is a fall, a spell in hospital or simply the gradual realisation that managing alone has become too much. Our job is to put enough support in place that home stays a realistic option, without taking over the parts of life somebody still wants to run for themselves. In practice that means help with getting up and going to bed, washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals, shopping and keeping the house in order. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather say that plainly than have anyone come across it later. We have gone through what the inspection identified, particularly how we plan and record care and how closely we supervise and support our carers, and we have made changes. We are happy to discuss openly what has improved and what we are still working on. Continuity matters to us, so we keep the same carers visiting the same households wherever we can and give them enough time to do the job properly. If you are arranging care at home in Crawley, please contact us and we will come out and talk it through.

- Home Care
Everyday Recruitment Agency provides care and support in people's own homes in Worthing and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Good home care rests on reliability. If a visit runs late, someone sits waiting, medication slips and confidence drains away. So we plan our rounds carefully, keep them geographically sensible and arrange proper cover for sickness and holidays rather than leaving people to hope for the best. Every arrangement starts with a visit and a proper conversation. We want to understand what the day looks like now, where it goes wrong and what would genuinely make a difference. From that we agree a plan in plain language, covering whatever is needed, which might be help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping, laundry or company, and we review it whenever circumstances change. We work hard to send the same small group of carers to the same households, because trust takes time to build and familiarity is what allows a carer to notice that something is different. Our staff are trained before working unsupervised and supported by senior colleagues who visit, supervise and review. If you are weighing up care for yourself or a relative, please get in touch. We will visit, answer your questions honestly and tell you plainly what we can and cannot offer.

- Home Care
We at United Response West Sussex DCA are proud to provide compassionate home care across Crawley and the wider West Sussex area, supporting people to live well and independently in the place they know best: their own home. As a domiciliary care agency based in the RH postcode area, our team travels out to the people we support, bringing personalised care directly to their front door. Operating from Crawley, we are well placed to reach individuals and families throughout the local community, whether they live in a quiet residential street, a family home, or supported accommodation. Because our care comes to you, the familiar comfort of your own surroundings, your routines, your belongings, and your neighbourhood, remains at the heart of daily life. Our specialism lies in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, alongside wider home care provision. We understand that every person we work with is an individual, with their own preferences, ambitions, and ways of communicating. In practice, this means our team takes the time to truly get to know each person, building trust gradually and shaping support around what matters most to them. That might involve help with everyday tasks such as personal care, preparing meals, or managing medication, but it equally extends to encouraging hobbies, supporting community involvement, attending appointments, building confidence with travel, or simply sharing a cup of tea and good conversation. For families, this person centred approach offers genuine peace of mind, knowing that a loved one is being supported by people who see them as a whole person, not a list of needs. We place great importance on enabling choice and promoting independence. For someone living with autism, this may mean creating predictable routines, communicating in ways that feel comfortable, and respecting sensory preferences. For someone with a learning disability, it may mean breaking tasks into manageable steps, championing their voice in decisions about their own life, and celebrating progress at every stage. Our aim is always to walk alongside the people we support, offering as much or as little help as they need to live the life they choose. The Care Quality Commission has rated our service Good overall, with Good ratings achieved across every one of the five key areas inspected: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent picture reflects the values we strive to uphold every day. It means families can feel reassured that our care is delivered safely, that outcomes for the people we support are positive, that our team is genuinely kind, that we respond thoughtfully to changing needs, and that the service is guided by strong, attentive leadership. Choosing care for yourself or someone you love is a significant decision, and we appreciate how many questions and concerns can arise along the way. If you are exploring home care options in Crawley or the surrounding West Sussex area, particularly for an adult with a learning disability or autism, we would be glad to talk things through with you at your own pace. Please do reach out to learn more about how we might support your family with warmth, respect, and genuine understanding.

Arranging and funding home care in West Sussex
Support delivered at home differs from residential care in one way that shapes everything else: the carer travels to the person, so geography, timing and continuity of staff matter as much as the quality of the organisation behind them. With 212 agencies on this list, the practical starting point is finding which ones actually cover the postcode in question, because coverage areas rarely match county boundaries.
Making sense of the inspection ratings
The ratings on this page come from the Care Quality Commission and span Outstanding, Good and Requires Improvement, with some agencies not yet rated. A Good rating means inspectors found the agency met the standards tested across safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership. Requires Improvement deserves a look at the report itself rather than an automatic exclusion, since the findings might concern record keeping, or might concern missed and late visits, which is a far more serious matter for someone waiting on morning medication. Agencies shown as not yet rated are frequently newer registrations without a first full inspection, so the weight shifts onto the questions you ask and the references you can gather.
What to establish before signing anything
Ask how many different carers will attend in a typical fortnight, because continuity is the single thing families most often wish they had pressed on. Ask what happens when a regular carer is ill, how late a visit can run before the office rings to warn you, and whether visits are logged electronically so relatives can see what was done. Check the minimum visit length, since a short call rarely allows for a proper meal or an unhurried wash. Confirm which tasks the agency will and will not undertake, particularly medication, catheter care and anything requiring two carers. Providers on this listing such as Caremark (Arun), Acre Care Limited, ADL Care and The Sussex Village Homecare Service Limited hold a Good rating, but the arrangement still stands or falls on the detail of the care plan you agree.
Choosing between home care agencies in West Sussex
The assessment process is the same whether the outcome is a few visits a week or full daily support, and it runs more smoothly when it begins before a crisis forces the pace.
Getting a care needs assessment
Anyone who appears to need care and support can request an assessment, whatever their savings. West Sussex County Council is responsible for carrying out that assessment and for arranging funded support where the national eligibility criteria are met. The assessment looks at washing, dressing, meals, medication, mobility and how safe someone is between visits, and the resulting written record is useful even for families who intend to pay privately, because it sets out clearly how much support is genuinely needed. A relative giving regular unpaid help can ask for a separate carer assessment at the same time.
Working out what it will cost
Home care is usually charged by the hour or by the visit, so the weekly total depends on how many calls are needed and how long each one lasts. Where council help is sought, a financial assessment follows the needs assessment and considers income, savings and other capital, with those above the national threshold generally expected to fund their own support. Ask any agency for its hourly rate in writing, along with what it charges at weekends and on bank holidays, whether travel time is billed, and how much notice is required to reduce or cancel visits.
Frequently asked questions about home care in West Sussex
Which providers are covered by this West Sussex listing?
This page brings together two hundred and five home care agencies registered with the Care Quality Commission to work in West Sussex. They deliver personal care in people's own homes, from a single morning call through to several visits a day and live in arrangements where an agency offers them. Providers on the list include Caremark (Arun), Gozone Care Ltd, Angelica Care Ltd and Ashton Domiciliary Care Agency. Each profile shows the current rating and links through to the published inspection report.
How does home care compare with a care home or a nursing home?
Home care brings a carer to the person for agreed visits, leaving them in their own house with their own routine, and it suits people whose needs can be met in scheduled blocks of time. A care home provides accommodation with personal care and staff on site day and night, which becomes the safer option when someone needs help unpredictably or is unsafe alone overnight. A nursing home adds registered nurses on the premises for clinical needs such as complex medication, wounds or conditions requiring regular clinical oversight. Every provider on this page delivers care at home rather than in a residential setting.
What should I ask an agency before arranging visits?
Ask how many different carers are likely to attend over a fortnight and what the agency does when the usual carer is unavailable. Ask about the minimum visit length, how time is recorded, and whether family can see a log of what happened at each call. Request the hourly rate in writing together with weekend and bank holiday charges, any travel costs, and the notice needed to change or cancel visits. Finally, ask who reviews the care plan, how often that happens, and who to contact out of hours when something goes wrong.
How is a care needs assessment arranged in West Sussex?
Contact the adult social care team at West Sussex County Council and ask for a care needs assessment. Everyone who appears to need care and support is entitled to one regardless of income, and a relative can make the request with the person's agreement. The assessment covers daily tasks, mobility, medication and safety at home, and produces a written record of the support required. If the person is in hospital, the ward team can refer directly, which usually brings the assessment forward.
Can West Sussex County Council pay towards care at home?
It can, where the person meets the care eligibility criteria and the financial test that follows. West Sussex County Council assesses income, savings and other capital to decide how much the person contributes towards the cost of support. Those holding capital above the national threshold normally pay for their own care, though they can still request an assessment and ask for advice about arranging it. Where the council does contribute, it sets a personal budget, which some people take as a direct payment and use to arrange their own agency.
How soon should support at home be organised?
It pays to start before the situation becomes urgent, because good agencies in West Sussex often have limited capacity at the most popular times of day. Early mornings and teatime calls are the hardest slots to fill, so a family asking at short notice may be offered times that do not suit. Beginning early also leaves room to trial a small package and adjust it once everyone sees how it works in practice. Where a hospital discharge is expected, tell the ward as soon as possible so the assessment can run alongside the discharge planning.
