About Us
We are Alina Homecare in Chichester, and we provide support to people living in their own homes across the city and the wider West Sussex area. Our work is straightforward in intention: to help people stay where they want to be, doing as much for themselves as they still can.
We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people with a physical disability. A visit might be half an hour to help someone get up, washed and dressed, or it might be several hours covering personal care, support with medication, meals, laundry and a trip out. Some people want us every day, others only at the points in the week where they struggle. Both are fine, and we would rather get the amount right than sell anybody more than they need.
We put a good deal of effort into matching carers to households and then keeping that match steady. Care at home only works when the person opening the door knows who is on the other side of it, remembers how the tea is made and notices when something is not quite right.
The Care Quality Commission has not yet issued an overall rating for us here. We are glad to talk through our training, our supervision arrangements and how we respond when something goes wrong.
