About Us
DORZ Care supports people in their own homes across Crawley and the surrounding part of West Sussex. We work with older people and with younger adults who need a hand to manage at home.
Most people come to us because something has changed, whether that is a fall, a spell in hospital or simply the gradual realisation that managing alone has become too much. Our job is to put enough support in place that home stays a realistic option, without taking over the parts of life somebody still wants to run for themselves. In practice that means help with getting up and going to bed, washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals, shopping and keeping the house in order.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather say that plainly than have anyone come across it later. We have gone through what the inspection identified, particularly how we plan and record care and how closely we supervise and support our carers, and we have made changes. We are happy to discuss openly what has improved and what we are still working on.
Continuity matters to us, so we keep the same carers visiting the same households wherever we can and give them enough time to do the job properly.
