About Us
New Venture Care provides care and support in people's own homes in Littlehampton and across West Sussex. We work with older people, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions and younger adults who want to live independently. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Support should fit around a person's life rather than reshape it, so we start by asking what someone wants their week to look like and what currently gets in the way. For some people that means a short call each morning to get the day started properly. For others it means regular support with personal care, medication, meals and getting out into the community. For others again it is help to keep a tenancy, manage money and stay well through difficult periods. We match carers thoughtfully, because who turns up matters as much as what they do, and we keep our rounds local so that people see familiar faces. Carers complete training before working unsupervised and are supported by senior colleagues who visit, supervise and review. Where there are risks we plan for them honestly rather than restricting someone's life by default, and we work alongside families, social workers and health colleagues so that support stays joined up.
