About Us
Guardian Angel Carers Worthing provides care at home for people in Worthing and the surrounding parts of West Sussex. Our visits range from a short call to start the day through to several each day and longer periods of support, and what we do is agreed with the person rather than offered as a fixed package.
For older people we help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see friends. Often the most valuable part of a visit is the company: sitting down properly with somebody rather than working through a list and leaving.
For people living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting wherever the rota allows, work with the routine the household already has and avoid moving things about in a home somebody knows well. For people with a physical disability we help with moving safely and with managing day to day as independently as possible, and where there is sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and always say who we are and what we are doing. We also support younger adults, fitting visits around work, study and family life.
Our care workers are trained for the people they visit, and we keep teams as settled as the rota allows because a familiar face changes how a visit goes.
