Special Needs Care supports people in their own homes across Chester and the surrounding parts of Cheshire West and Chester. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, people managing a mental health condition, and those living with a physical disability. Our approach is to support people to run their own lives rather than to run their lives for them. We ask what somebody wants their week to look like, what they manage well themselves and where help would make a real difference, then we build support around those answers. For some people that means assistance with personal care, medication and household tasks. For others it means help to get out to work, college, clubs or family, or support to build skills around cooking, shopping and managing money. We adapt how we communicate to suit the person, and we take time to learn what helps someone feel settled and what causes them stress. Routines that fit the individual do far more good than any amount of policy. Keeping teams small matters a great deal here. People should not have to explain themselves to a new face every week, so we send staff who know the person and who are trained for the particular support they provide, and we work alongside community teams and health professionals. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk about support.

- Home Care
We at Cavalry Complex Care Cheshire are proud to offer thoughtful, person centred home care across Chester and the surrounding Cheshire West communities. As a dedicated home care provider, our team brings compassionate support directly to the place where people feel most comfortable: their own home. Operating throughout the CH postcode area, we understand the unique character of Chester and its neighbouring villages. Rather than asking individuals to adjust to an unfamiliar setting, we come to them, weaving our care around the routines, surroundings, and familiar faces that make a house feel like home. Whether someone lives in a bustling part of the city or a quieter corner of Cheshire West and Chester, our carers travel to support them in the environment they know and love. Our specialisms reflect the breadth of need within the community. We provide sensitive older person care and home care for those who wish to remain independent as they age, along with tailored dementia support that focuses on patience, gentle reassurance, and preserving dignity through every stage of the condition. For younger adults and individuals living with learning disabilities or autism, we take time to understand personal preferences, communication styles, and daily rhythms, offering support that empowers rather than restricts. We also work alongside people navigating mental health challenges, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. In practice, this means our carers are prepared to assist with a wide spectrum of needs, from personal care, medication prompts, and mobility support to companionship, meal preparation, and help with community access. Families can take comfort in knowing that as circumstances change, our care can adapt in step, providing consistency during moments of transition. For loved ones, our involvement often brings welcome peace of mind. Knowing that a trusted carer is checking in, offering a warm presence, and communicating openly about wellbeing allows family members to step back into their role as son, daughter, partner, or friend, rather than carrying the full weight of caregiving alone. As a newer presence within the regulated care landscape, Cavalry Complex Care Cheshire has not yet received a formal CQC rating. Whilst an inspection outcome is still to come, we remain fully committed to the standards that underpin quality home care: safe practice, effective support, caring relationships, responsive attention, and well led operations. We welcome open conversations with families about how we work, the training our carers receive, and the values that guide every visit. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or someone you love in Chester or the wider Cheshire area, we would be honoured to talk with you. Reach out at a pace that feels right, ask the questions that matter most, and let us show you how considered, compassionate support at home can make a meaningful difference.

- Home Care
We at Bowling Green Court (Chester) are proud to provide compassionate home care across Chester and the surrounding communities of Cheshire West and Chester. Our team supports older people to live well and safely within the place they know best: their own home. Delivering care in the familiar surroundings of a person's own home means every visit is shaped around the individual. Rather than asking someone to adapt to a new environment, our carers come to you, working within the rhythms of your household, respecting your routines, and offering support that feels natural rather than clinical. Being based in the CH postcode area allows us to serve residents right across Chester with reliability and local understanding. Our specialisms reflect the varied needs of the people we support. We provide dedicated older person care, helping with everything from personal care and medication prompts to companionship and preparing meals. For those living with dementia, our carers offer patient, consistent support, understanding how important familiar faces and gentle routines are for wellbeing and confidence. We also support adults with physical disabilities, assisting with mobility, daily tasks, and independence in ways that preserve dignity at every step. For people living with visual or hearing impairments, we adapt how we communicate and support, ensuring no one feels overlooked or unheard within their own home. For families, choosing home care is often about peace of mind. Knowing that a trusted carer is visiting a loved one, whether that be for a short check in or more comprehensive daily support, can ease the worry that so often comes with living at a distance from an ageing parent or relative. We aim to be a genuine partner to families, keeping communication open and offering reassurance during what can be a difficult chapter. The Care Quality Commission rated Bowling Green Court (Chester) as Good overall following its inspection on 20 March 2019, with a rating of Good achieved across all five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent picture reflects a team committed to safe practice, effective support, genuine kindness, responsiveness to individual needs, and thoughtful leadership. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or someone you love in Chester, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We understand this is an important decision, and we are here to listen, answer your questions, and help you understand how the right support at home can make all the difference.

- Home Care
Tattenhall Local Care supports older people in their own homes in Tattenhall and the villages around Chester. We are a local organisation working in a small area, and we think that is a strength rather than a limitation. Because we cover a defined patch, our carers are not spending half the day driving between calls, which means visits can be the length they are supposed to be and people are not left waiting. It also means the same small group of carers goes to the same households, so people see faces they know. What we provide depends on the person. It can be a call first thing to help with washing, dressing and getting breakfast, several visits across the day, support with medication, help getting out to appointments, or a longer visit that gives a family carer a proper rest. We agree it with the person before anything starts and write it down plainly. Rural life can be isolating in later years, and a good deal of what we do is simply making sure somebody is not on their own from one day to the next. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk through what would help.

We at Clarity Home Care Old Trafford are proud to offer compassionate home care across Manchester and the wider Trafford area, supporting individuals who wish to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. As a dedicated home care agency, we bring professional support directly to your doorstep, wherever you call home in our local community. Operating throughout the M postcode area and the surrounding neighbourhoods of Trafford, we are well placed to reach families across this vibrant part of the North West. Rather than asking loved ones to adjust to a new environment, we step into theirs, working around familiar routines, treasured possessions, and the rhythms of daily life that bring comfort and reassurance. Whether your loved one lives in a quiet terrace, a family home, or a flat within easy reach of Manchester's amenities, our team comes to them. Our care covers a broad spectrum of needs, reflecting the diversity of the people we support. For older adults, we provide attentive personal care, companionship, and practical help with everyday tasks, allowing independence to flourish whilst ensuring safety and dignity. For those living with dementia, we take a patient, person centred approach, learning each individual's history, preferences, and triggers so that every visit feels reassuring rather than unsettling. Consistency and gentle understanding sit at the heart of how we support memory related conditions. We also support adults living with physical disabilities, offering tailored assistance with mobility, personal care, and the daily activities that promote confidence and wellbeing. For those with visual or hearing impairments, our team adapts communication styles and environmental awareness to ensure care feels respectful, clear, and never rushed. Younger adults who require support are equally welcomed, with care plans shaped around their goals, lifestyles, and aspirations rather than assumptions about what care should look like. In practice, this means families can expect a thoughtful conversation at the outset, where we listen carefully to what matters most. From there, we build a care plan that flexes around real life, whether that involves a short morning visit to help start the day well, longer companionship calls, or more comprehensive daily support. Family members often tell us that the greatest relief comes from knowing someone trusted is checking in, sharing observations, and being a steady presence alongside them. As a newly established presence, Clarity Home Care Old Trafford has not yet received a formal CQC rating. We welcome the regulatory process and view inspection as an important opportunity to demonstrate the standards we hold ourselves to every day. In the meantime, we are committed to operating with full transparency, professionalism, and the kind of attentive care we would want for our own loved ones. Families are warmly encouraged to ask questions, request information about our approach, and get to know our team before making any decisions. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand the weight that families carry when exploring options for someone they love. If you are considering support for yourself or a relative anywhere in Manchester or Trafford, we would be delighted to hear from you. Reach out for a friendly, no pressure conversation, and let us show you how thoughtful home care can make all the difference.

Comfort Call at Astley Court provides care at home for people across Salford and the surrounding parts of Manchester. We support a broad range of needs, and what connects the work is building support around the person rather than around a category. Our carers visit older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals and mobility, and we support people living with dementia in the place where familiar routines already do so much good. We also work with adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss, younger adults, and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse, where consistency and an absence of judgement matter more than anything else. Support is agreed with the person, reviewed as needs change, and delivered by familiar carers wherever we can manage it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Requires Improvement. We would rather put that in front of you now than have you come across it later. We took the findings seriously, we have been working through them, and we are willing to discuss the detail with anyone who asks. Bluebird Care supports people in their own homes across the south of Manchester. Our visits are arranged around the person rather than a standard pattern, covering personal care, medication, meals, laundry and shopping, and support to get out to appointments, to work or simply into the day. The people we visit are a varied group. Older people and those living with dementia make up much of our work, and we also support adults with a learning disability or autism, people living with mental health needs, adults with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. That range is why we plan individually. What we want to know at the start is how a person's day works now, what they still do themselves, what has become difficult and what they would rather we did not touch in their own home. A plan that could apply to anyone is rarely much use to anybody. Consistency is what we protect hardest. Support is a relationship as much as a set of tasks, and a familiar carer notices changes early and adapts without making anything of them. For people living with dementia that familiarity is the whole reason a visit goes well. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good. If you are considering care at home in this part of Manchester, please get in touch.

Pivotal Home Care provides support in people's own homes in Trafford and across Manchester. Our work is to give people enough help to carry on living in their own houses, delivered by carers they know. We visit older people needing assistance with washing, dressing, meals and medication, and people living with dementia, where familiar faces and a settled routine count for a great deal. We support adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people with a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, and younger adults needing support to live independently. We want to be plain about where we stand. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We are working through what was identified, with attention to staff supervision, record keeping and making sure that visits are delivered as planned and at the agreed times. We would rather tell you that ourselves and answer your questions than have you come across it elsewhere. All support starts with a home visit and a proper conversation about what is needed. Plans are written in plain language, reviewed regularly and changed when they are not working. Please get in touch if you would like to talk it through.

Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. We provide dedicated older person care and home care for those who wish to remain independent, alongside specialist dementia care that focuses on gentle, consistent routines and reassuring familiarity. We also support adults living with learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairment. Our care extends to younger adults, ensuring that people at every stage of life receive support that respects their individuality and promotes their wellbeing. In practice, this means our carers take the time to understand each person as a whole, not simply their care needs. Whether that involves helping with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship, or enabling someone to enjoy their favourite pastimes, we aim to make every visit meaningful. For families, this brings genuine peace of mind, knowing that a loved one is being supported by people who truly care. Our most recent CQC inspection, carried out in December 2023, rated us as Requires Improvement overall, with Good ratings in the Effective and Caring domains. We are open and honest about this outcome. The Good ratings reflect the warmth and skill of our care team and the positive difference they make in people's daily lives, whilst the areas identified for improvement have given us a clear focus for strengthening our practices further. We are wholeheartedly committed to learning, listening and raising standards across every aspect of the support we provide. If you are exploring home care options in Manchester for yourself or someone you love, we warmly invite you to get in touch. - Home Care
At Turning Point in Salford and Bolton, we provide supported living and home care for adults across Manchester and the surrounding area. Our work centres on people with learning disabilities and autism, and we also support those living with mental health conditions, physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, and older adults as well as younger adults who need a bit of extra help to live their lives as they choose. We believe that where someone lives and how they spend their time should be shaped by them, not by a care plan written without their input. So we take time to get to know the people we support properly, understanding what matters to them day to day, what their goals are, and what kind of support actually helps rather than gets in the way. That means our approach looks different for everyone, because everyone is different. Our staff work hard to build genuine relationships with the people they support. It takes consistency and honesty to earn someone's trust, and we do not take that lightly. We try to recruit people who understand that good support is often quiet and unobtrusive, and who can step back when someone is ready to do things for themselves. Being based in Salford means we understand the local area and the communities our clients are part of. We work closely with families, local authorities and other professionals to make sure the people we support have access to everything they need, whether that is healthcare, social opportunities or simply a familiar face at the right time. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and remain committed to being open and transparent about the support we provide. If you would like to find out more about whether we might be the right fit for you or someone you care about, we would genuinely love to hear from you.

We are Manchester Primecare, and we provide care in people's own homes across Manchester. The people we visit are a varied group: older people, many living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, adults living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. Because the range is broad, we do not begin from a fixed offer. We begin with the person, in their own home, asking how the day actually runs, what has become difficult, what they want to keep doing themselves, and where help would genuinely help. The support plan comes out of that conversation and is revised as circumstances change. In practice that might mean personal care, a prompt and a check with medication, meals cooked and eaten with company, help getting safely about the house, support to get out to work, college or the shops, or reliable company for somebody who has become isolated. For autistic people especially, predictability matters a great deal, so changes are explained in advance and staffing is kept steady wherever the rota allows. Manchester is home to many communities, and we think care works better when it fits somebody's own habits, food and customs rather than asking them to fit ours. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Ring us if you would like to talk through what support might look like.

- Home Care
Our work is care at home across Manchester and Salford, helping people to stay in the houses and neighbourhoods they know rather than move somewhere unfamiliar. For most of the families who come to us, that is the whole point, and everything else we do follows from it. A great deal of our work is with people living with dementia. What we have learned is that the useful things are unglamorous: the same carers turning up, at times that make sense to the person, who know where the tea is kept and which chair is the right one. Familiarity prevents a lot of distress that no amount of skilled intervention can undo afterwards. We also support older people more generally, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, and younger adults who need help at home. We work with people living with mental health needs, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting what we do and how we explain it so support is genuinely usable. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. Rather than talk around that, we would ask you to judge us on how carefully we listen at the first conversation and on whether what happens afterwards matches what we said. If you are looking into care at home for a relative, we are glad to talk it through without any obligation.

Stonewood Complex Care supports people in their own homes across Trafford and the wider Manchester area. We work with older people, people living with dementia, adults with a physical disability, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. A good deal of our work involves situations that standard packages have struggled with. Someone whose health is unstable and whose support has to change week by week. Someone coming out of hospital with a great deal still to sort out. Someone whose circumstances involve several different services that need pulling into one coherent plan rather than left to overlap and contradict each other. In practice that means fairly ordinary things done carefully. We spend longer than most on the first assessment, because getting the detail right at the start saves a great deal of trouble later. We write plans that reflect what the person actually wants their day to look like. We stay in close contact with district nurses, GPs, social workers and anyone else involved, and we chase things rather than assuming somebody else has. We also keep the same carers with the same people wherever rotas allow. Where a situation is complicated, a carer who already knows the household notices a change long before any formal review would, and that is often what prevents a crisis. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk things through.

We at Carerecruit Solutions are a home care agency proudly supporting people across Manchester and the wider Salford area, bringing compassionate, professional care directly into the place where our clients feel most comfortable: their own home. Based in the M postcode area of Manchester, our team is well placed to reach families throughout Salford and the surrounding North West communities. Because we deliver care in the home rather than a residential setting, our clients enjoy the familiarity of their own surroundings, their own routines, and the comfort of neighbourhoods and loved ones they know well, whilst we quietly provide the practical support that makes independent living possible. Our care is tailored around four core areas of expertise. For older people, we offer thoughtful support with everyday living, from help with personal care and medication reminders to companionship and assistance around the home. For those living with a physical disability, our approach focuses on promoting independence, dignity and choice, adapting to each person's abilities and preferences rather than asking them to adapt to us. We also support younger adults who may need help to live well at home, whether that involves building daily routines, encouraging social connection, or providing reliable practical assistance. At the heart of everything sits our home care ethos: flexible, respectful visits shaped around the individual, not a one size fits all schedule. For families, this means peace of mind. It means knowing that a trusted carer is arriving as arranged, that a loved one is being treated with kindness, and that communication remains open and honest. We understand that inviting a care team into a family member's life is a significant decision, and we take that trust seriously. As a newer entrant to the regulated care landscape, we are committed to meeting the standards families rightly expect and welcome open conversations about how we work, who we recruit, and how we safeguard the people in our care. If you are exploring home care options in Manchester or Salford for yourself or someone you love, we would be delighted to hear from you. Whether you live in a quiet suburban street, a city centre apartment, or a family house filled with memories, we believe that familiar surroundings play a vital role in wellbeing. By delivering support in the environments our clients know and love, we help preserve independence, dignity, and the everyday routines that make life feel like home. Our care covers a broad spectrum of needs, reflecting the diverse community we are proud to support. For older people, we provide gentle, attentive assistance with daily living, from help with personal care and medication to companionship and practical household tasks. Our dementia care is delivered with patience and understanding, recognising that each person's journey is unique. We focus on calm, consistent routines, familiar faces, and meaningful interaction, all of which can make a real difference to those living with memory loss and the families who love them. For adults with a physical disability, we offer practical, respectful support designed to promote autonomy and confidence. Whether it is assistance with mobility, daily tasks, or accessing the community, our approach centres on what each individual wants to achieve, not simply what they need help with. We also support people living with visual or hearing impairment, adapting our communication and approach so that every client feels genuinely heard, understood, and at ease in their interactions with our team. We are equally committed to supporting younger adults who require care at home. We understand that needs at this stage of life can look very different, and we work closely with each person to build a package of support that respects their goals, lifestyle, and aspirations. From practical daily assistance to enabling greater independence, our aim is always to help people live the life they choose. Families often tell us that the hardest part of arranging care is knowing whom to trust. That is why we place such importance on clear communication, reliable visits, and continuity of carers wherever possible. Knowing the same friendly faces will be coming through the door brings reassurance to clients and peace of mind to relatives, particularly those who may live further away and rely on regular updates about a loved one's wellbeing. As a newer presence within the regulated care sector, our CQC overall rating is currently listed as Not Yet Rated. This simply means we are awaiting our first full inspection. In the meantime, we hold ourselves to the high standards set out by the Care Quality Commission, and we welcome open conversations with families about our policies, our training, and the way we deliver care every day. We see transparency as the foundation of trust, and we are always happy to answer questions, share information, and demonstrate the values that guide our work. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we know it often comes at a time of uncertainty or change. Whether you are exploring options for a parent who needs a little extra help, planning support for yourself, or arranging care for a younger family member with complex needs, we are here to listen without pressure. Our initial conversations are designed to understand the whole person, their history, their preferences, their hopes, so that any care we provide truly reflects who they are. If you would like to learn more about how we can support you or someone you love in Manchester, we warmly invite you to get in touch. A friendly, honest conversation costs nothing, and it may be the first reassuring step towards care that feels right for your family.

- Home Care
We provide care in people's own homes in north Manchester and Salford. Our purpose is to support people to live where they want to live, with help that arrives when it should and is given by carers they know. We visit older people needing assistance with washing, dressing, meals and medication, and people living with dementia, where familiar faces and steady routines count for a great deal. We support adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people whose sight or hearing is impaired, along with younger adults needing support to live independently. We put thought into matching. Somebody coming into your home every morning needs to be a person you are glad to see, so we introduce carers properly and we listen if a match is not working. Everything begins with a home visit and an unhurried conversation about what is wanted. The plan is in plain language, agreed with the person and reviewed as circumstances move on. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring if you would like to talk through the options.

We at Clarity Homecare Bury are proud to offer compassionate home care across Manchester and the wider Bury area, supporting individuals to live safely, comfortably and independently in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the M postcode area of Greater Manchester, our team works throughout local neighbourhoods and communities in Bury, bringing personalised care directly to residents wherever they live. Because we deliver care in the familiar surroundings of your loved one's home, there is no unfamiliar building to adjust to, no disruption to daily routines, and no need to leave behind treasured possessions, favourite chairs, or beloved pets. Instead, our carers become a trusted part of the household, respecting each person's space, preferences and pace of life. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. We support older people who wish to remain independent at home, offering everything from a helping hand with daily tasks through to more comprehensive care. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, our carers provide gentle, consistent support that prioritises dignity, reassurance and familiar routines, which can be so grounding for those living with memory loss. We also work with younger adults, individuals with learning disabilities or autism, people managing mental health conditions, and those with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. In practice, this means we take the time to truly understand each person, tailoring our approach to communication styles, sensory needs, mobility requirements and personal goals. For families, it means peace of mind knowing that the care being delivered is thoughtful, skilled and shaped around the individual, not a one size fits all package. Whether support is needed for a few hours a week or on a more intensive basis, our aim is always the same: to enable each person to live the life they choose, with the right level of assistance to make that possible. This might mean help with personal care in the morning, medication support throughout the day, companionship over a cup of tea, assistance preparing meals, or accompaniment on trips into the community. For loved ones caring for a family member, our involvement can also offer welcome respite and the reassurance that a trained, friendly professional is on hand. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our CQC rating of Good across every domain assessed at our latest inspection in June 2021. Being rated Good in Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well led means the regulator found that we protect the people we support from harm, deliver care that achieves positive outcomes, treat people with kindness and respect, respond to individual needs, and are guided by strong leadership. For families weighing up their options, this consistent rating across all five areas offers real reassurance that the fundamentals of good home care are firmly in place. Choosing care for someone you love is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that responsibility. If you are exploring home care in Bury or the surrounding Manchester area, we would be delighted to have a conversation with you, answer your questions, and help you consider whether our support could be the right fit for your family. Please do get in touch when you feel ready. We are here to listen, to guide, and to care.

Operating throughout the M postcode area and the North West, our team travels to residents across Bury and Manchester, delivering care that fits seamlessly into daily life. Because we come to you, there is no need to leave familiar surroundings, treasured possessions, or the neighbourhood that holds your memories. Whether you live in a family home, a bungalow, or a flat, we adapt our approach to suit your environment, your routine, and your personal preferences. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. For older people, we provide the steady, respectful assistance that helps maintain independence at home, whether that means help with washing and dressing, preparing a favourite meal, or simply having a friendly companion for the day. Our dementia care is delivered by carers who understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle reassurance, giving families peace of mind that their loved one is being supported with genuine warmth and skill. We also support adults living with mental health conditions, offering care that respects dignity and promotes wellbeing through consistent, trusting relationships. For those with physical disabilities, our carers assist with mobility, personal care, and everyday tasks in a way that empowers rather than takes over. We are equally experienced in supporting younger adults, recognising that care needs at any age deserve a tailored, respectful, and person centred approach. In practice, this means families can trust that their relative is being looked after by someone who truly understands their condition, their personality, and their goals. It means fewer worries about medication routines, missed meals, or long hours alone. It means birthdays celebrated at home, gardens still enjoyed, and independence protected for as long as possible. As a newer presence on the CQC register, 121 Specialist Carers has not yet received a formal rating. Whilst we look forward to demonstrating the quality of our care through future inspection, we are already committed to the standards the Care Quality Commission expects of every provider: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led support. We welcome open conversations with families about our approach, our training, and how we build trust from the very first visit. Choosing care at home is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that choice. If you are exploring options for yourself or a loved one in Manchester, Bury, or the surrounding area, we would be delighted to hear from you. Goodworks is a home care agency working across Manchester. We support people in their own homes so that they can carry on with the lives they have built, in the neighbourhoods they know, with the furniture, photographs and routines that make a house feel like theirs. Our work with older people covers the ordinary things that become harder over time. Getting up and dressed, managing medication safely, preparing meals that someone actually wants to eat, keeping the house in order, and getting out to appointments or to the shops. Some people need one call a day and some need several, and that balance often changes as time goes on. We also support younger adults, including people with a learning disability and autistic people. Here the emphasis is usually less on personal care and more on living the life you want. That might mean support with cooking and budgeting, help to hold down a job or a college course, or someone alongside you when a busy place would otherwise be too much. We aim for continuity of carers, clear communication with families, and honesty when something has not gone the way it should. If you would like to talk about support in Manchester, please contact us and we will arrange to come and meet you at home.

We at Angel Care Services UK are proud to provide compassionate home care across Manchester, supporting individuals to live well and independently within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. As a trusted Manchester based home care provider, we bring professional, personalised support directly to the people who need it most. Based in the M postcode area of Manchester, our team operates from a central location that allows us to reach individuals and families throughout the city and surrounding North West communities. Being rooted locally means we understand the neighbourhoods we serve, the people who live in them, and the importance of a familiar, friendly presence at the door. Our care is built around the belief that home is where people feel safest, happiest, and most themselves. We support older people who wish to remain in their own homes with dignity and confidence, providing assistance with daily routines, companionship, and the gentle reassurance that help is always close at hand. For those living with dementia, our approach is patient, consistent, and centred on preserving identity, routine, and meaningful connection, helping both the individual and their loved ones navigate each day with greater ease. We also provide thoughtful support for adults with learning disabilities and autism, focusing on empowerment, choice, and the development of life skills that promote genuine independence. Our mental health support is delivered with sensitivity and without judgement, helping individuals to manage daily life, engage with their community, and work towards personal goals at their own pace. For people living with physical disabilities, we offer practical assistance tailored to mobility, comfort, and personal preference, whilst younger adults receive support that respects their lifestyle, aspirations, and individuality. What this means in practice for the families we work with is peace of mind. It means knowing that a familiar carer is arriving to help a loved one start the day with breakfast, medication, and a warm conversation. It means confidence that the person you care about is being treated with respect, listened to, and supported in the way they prefer. We work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to ensure every care plan reflects the real person behind it, adapting as needs change over time. Our most recent CQC inspection, carried out in September 2023, rated us Good overall, with Good ratings across all five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This independent recognition reflects the standards we hold ourselves to every day, from the safety and training of our care team to the responsiveness of our office and the genuine warmth our carers bring into each home they visit. For families weighing up their options, this rating offers reassurance that the care provided meets the expectations of a respected national regulator. We know that choosing home care for yourself or someone you love is a significant decision, and one often made during an uncertain or emotional time. Please feel welcome to get in touch with us for a friendly, no pressure conversation about what you or your family member might need. Whether you are exploring care for the first time, looking to change provider, or simply gathering information for the future, we are here to listen, guide, and support you every step of the way.

Here at Starlight Employment, we provide home care across Manchester and Tameside, supporting people to live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own homes. We believe that where you live should feel like your own space, and our role is to fit around your life rather than the other way around. We work with a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults living with physical disabilities, and those affected by dementia or mental health conditions. Each person we support has their own story, their own routines and their own preferences, and we take time to understand all of that before we begin. Care is not one size fits all, and we would never treat it as such. Our team works closely with individuals and their families to build care arrangements that genuinely reflect what each person needs. Whether that means help with daily tasks, companionship, personal care or something more specific, we approach every visit with the same level of attentiveness and respect. Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. We understand how important consistency and familiarity are for someone living with dementia, and we think carefully about how we can bring calm and reassurance into someone's day rather than disruption. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission, and we welcome the accountability that comes with that. We are open with the people we support and their families, and we encourage honest conversations about what is working well and what could be better. If you are looking into home care options for yourself or someone close to you, we would be glad to have a straightforward chat about what we can offer. PVG Healthcare supports people in their own homes across Manchester. Our work is the everyday business of helping someone stay in their own house. Visits cover help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and support to get out to appointments or into the day. None of it is complicated, and all of it depends on being reliable and on sending the same carers often enough that they know the household properly. A good part of our work is with people living with dementia. Consistency is what we protect hardest there, because a familiar carer can tell within a minute how someone is today and adjust without making anything of it, which no amount of planning on paper can achieve. We also support adults living with a physical disability, where equipment, layout and mobility usually decide how much of a day someone can direct themselves. Manchester is a large and varied city, and we match carers and households thoughtfully, including on language and on what someone is comfortable with in their own home. We also plan travelling time into our rotas so that a visit is never cut short to make up time. Every package starts with a proper assessment and an honest conversation about what we can provide. If you are considering care at home here, please get in touch and we will come out and see you.

Work4U Solutions provides care at home for people across Oldham and the surrounding parts of Manchester. Our job is to make staying at home practical and comfortable, with support that arrives when it is needed and leaves the rest of somebody's life alone. Our carers visit older people who need a hand with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the household jobs that quietly become obstacles. We support people living with dementia, where familiar rooms and a familiar face do a great deal of the work on their own. We also work with people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who want support that keeps them in charge of their own lives. Support is agreed with the person, includes what they would rather do for themselves, and is reviewed as circumstances change. We aim to send familiar carers so that nobody has to keep explaining their own routine. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we prefer to say so openly. We believe that everyone deserves to live as independently as possible, with the right support around them, and that is what we work hard to provide every day. Shared Lives as a model is built on real relationships. The people we support are not simply receiving a service; they are part of a wider network of care that centres on trust, familiarity, and consistency. We work closely with carers who open their homes and lives to others, creating arrangements that feel human and grounded rather than clinical or transactional. We are honest about where we are in our journey. Our care is built around the individual, and we offer specialist support across a broad range of needs. For older people, we provide gentle assistance with daily routines, personal care, medication prompts, and companionship, helping to preserve independence and dignity through every stage of later life. Our home care service is designed to be as flexible as your circumstances require, whether that means a short daily visit, regular help throughout the week, or more intensive ongoing support. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, we understand how unsettling and emotional the journey can be. Our dementia care is delivered with patience, consistency, and a deep respect for each person's history and personality. Familiar faces, calm routines, and reassuring conversation can make a meaningful difference, and we work closely with families to build a care plan that adapts as needs evolve. We also support younger adults and individuals with learning disabilities or autism, recognising that good care is about far more than physical assistance. It is about enabling people to pursue their interests, build confidence, maintain relationships, and live the life they choose. Our carers take the time to understand each person's goals, communication style, and preferences, providing support that is empowering rather than restrictive. Tarnta Care Group has not yet received a formal CQC rating, which is often the case for newer providers or those awaiting their first inspection. We welcome the regulatory process and are committed to operating to the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and kindness. Families are encouraged to speak with us directly about our approach, our team, and the quality assurance measures we have in place. Transparency and open communication are at the heart of how we work. Choosing care for a loved one is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we know it is rarely an easy one. That range means there is no single way of doing this work. What stays the same is how we start. We come out and talk before anything begins. We ask how the day already runs, what somebody wants help with and what they would rather carry on doing for themselves. We plan around the person rather than the category, and we review arrangements honestly as things change. After that it is about doing simple things reliably. Arriving when we said we would. Keeping the same carers with the same households so that trust has a chance to build. Handing over properly so nobody has to explain themselves twice. GEP Support provides home care to people in Manchester and across the Rochdale area. We are the people who arrive at the door in the morning, help someone start the day well, and come back later to see that it ends comfortably. Everything we do is built around that fairly simple idea. We support older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals and getting out and about, and we work with younger adults whose needs are often quite different. Our team has experience of dementia care, of supporting people with a learning disability or autism, and of working alongside people living with mental health conditions. We also support people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and people affected by eating disorders, where a steady and unhurried approach makes a real difference. Before we begin, we sit down properly and talk about what somebody wants from their care rather than assuming we already know. That conversation shapes the plan, and we revisit it whenever things change. We try hard to send the same small group of carers to each person, because good care depends on relationships as much as on tasks. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are weighing up options for yourself or someone close to you, we are happy to talk without any pressure.

Continuity is what makes home care work. A carer who knows somebody well notices the untouched meal that turns out to be the first sign of something. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Ring us and we will be straight with you about what we can offer.

We at Addi Care welcome you to our home care agency based in Chesterfield, providing compassionate support to individuals across Derbyshire who wish to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Whether you are exploring care options for an ageing parent, a loved one living with dementia, or a younger adult seeking tailored support, we are here to walk alongside you. Operating from our base in the S postcode area of Chesterfield, our team is well placed to reach those living throughout the local community and surrounding parts of the East Midlands. We understand that home is more than simply a place, it is where memories live, where routines bring comfort, and where independence flourishes. Our role is to enhance that environment with thoughtful, dignified support delivered directly to your doorstep. The breadth of care we offer reflects the diverse needs of the people we support. For older adults, we provide gentle daily assistance that helps preserve independence whilst easing the small challenges that can make life feel harder than it should. For those living with dementia, our approach is patient and person centred, focusing on familiarity, reassurance, and meaningful connection at every visit. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autism, taking time to understand individual communication styles, sensory preferences, and personal goals so that care feels empowering rather than imposed. Our mental health support is built on empathy and consistency, recognising that trust is the foundation upon which recovery and wellbeing are built. For individuals with physical disabilities, we focus on practical, respectful help that enables people to live life on their own terms, whilst those with visual or hearing impairments benefit from our attentive, adaptive approach to communication and daily routines. We are equally committed to supporting younger adults who require care, ensuring that their aspirations, social lives, and independence remain firmly at the heart of everything we do. In practice, this means families can feel reassured that their loved one is receiving care shaped around them as an individual, not a checklist. From companionship and personal care to specialist support for complex needs, our team works closely with families to build a plan that evolves as circumstances change. As a newer presence within the regulated care landscape, Addi Care is currently awaiting its first formal inspection rating from the Care Quality Commission. Whilst we do not yet have a published CQC rating, we remain fully committed to meeting and exceeding the standards expected of registered home care providers, and we welcome open conversations with families about our approach, our values, and the care we deliver every day. Choosing care for someone you love is a deeply personal decision, and we know it is rarely an easy one. If you would like to learn more about how we can support your family in Chesterfield or the wider Derbyshire area, please do reach out. We would be honoured to listen, to answer your questions, and to help you take the next step with confidence.

We at Compass Care Derbyshire are proud to offer compassionate home care across Chesterfield and the surrounding Derbyshire communities, supporting people to live well and safely within the place they know best: their own home. Based in the S postcode area of Chesterfield, our team is well positioned to reach families throughout the town and the wider East Midlands region. Because our care is delivered in your own home, the environment is shaped entirely around what already brings you comfort, whether that is a favourite armchair by the window, a familiar morning routine, or the reassurance of being close to loved ones, neighbours, and the local community. We work alongside you in the spaces that hold your memories, helping to maintain independence whilst gently providing the support that makes daily life easier. Our care is tailored to a broad range of needs, with specialisms spanning older person care, dementia care, support for younger adults, and care for individuals living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. In practice, this means our visits are never one size fits all. For an older person, support might involve help with personal care, medication prompts, or companionship over a cup of tea. For someone living with dementia, our approach centres on patience, familiarity, and gentle routine, recognising that consistency and a calm presence can make an enormous difference to wellbeing. For younger adults and those with physical or sensory needs, we focus on enabling choice and confidence, working with each individual to support the life they want to lead rather than dictating what care should look like. Families tell us that knowing a thoughtful, well briefed carer is visiting brings real peace of mind, especially when relatives live further afield or are juggling work and caring responsibilities of their own. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we know it often comes at an emotional time. If you are exploring options for yourself or a family member in Chesterfield or the wider Derbyshire area, we would be glad to have a gentle, no pressure conversation about what good support could look like for your circumstances. Please do reach out when the time feels right, and we will be here to listen.

At Voyage North Derbyshire, we provide home care support to people living in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire. We work with adults who have a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical disabilities, and we also support younger adults who need a helping hand to live as independently as possible. We believe that care at home, done well, makes an enormous difference to someone's quality of life. Our role is to support people in their own surroundings, on their own terms, so that they can carry on doing the things that matter to them. That might mean helping with daily routines, getting out into the community, managing appointments or simply having someone reliable to talk to. Every person we support has different priorities, and we take the time to understand what those are before we do anything else. Our team is made up of people who genuinely know the individuals they support. We are not a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Consistency matters enormously in home care, and we put real thought into matching people with support workers who are well suited to them and who will stay with them over time. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as good across the board. We are proud of that rating, though we are equally aware that maintaining it requires ongoing attention and honest reflection. We welcome feedback from the people we support and their families, because it helps us keep improving. If you are looking for home care support in the Chesterfield area, for yourself or someone you care about, we would be glad to have a conversation about how we might be able to help. You can get in touch with us directly and we will take it from there.

We at The Right Home Care Team Chesterfield are proud to offer compassionate home care across Chesterfield and the surrounding Derbyshire communities. As a dedicated home care agency, we bring professional, person centred support directly into the place where our clients feel most comfortable, their own home. Operating throughout Chesterfield and the wider East Midlands region, our team travels to those who need us, meaning there is no unfamiliar building to adjust to and no disruption to cherished routines. The familiar surroundings of home, with its treasured photographs, favourite chair, and garden view, remain at the heart of daily life. We simply add the practical support and gentle companionship that helps make each day easier and safer. Our care is thoughtfully tailored to meet a wide range of needs. We provide specialised support for older people, including those living with dementia, where consistency, patience, and a calm approach make all the difference. Our team is experienced in supporting individuals with mental health needs, offering reassurance and stability whilst respecting each person's independence and dignity. We also care for younger adults and those living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments, adapting our approach to suit personal preferences, communication styles, and daily goals. In practice, this means our care plans are never one size fits all. For a person with dementia, this might mean a familiar carer arriving at the same time each morning, following the routines that bring comfort. For someone with a physical disability, it could involve practical help with mobility, personal care, or preparing a favourite meal. For families supporting a loved one with sensory impairment, our team takes time to understand the best ways to communicate and connect, so that every visit feels reassuring rather than rushed. We understand that inviting a carer into your home is a significant step, and one that families rarely take lightly. That is why we place enormous value on building trusting relationships, matching our carers thoughtfully, and keeping loved ones informed and involved. Whether you are seeking a few hours of companionship each week, help with personal care, or more comprehensive daily support, we work closely with you to shape a package that feels right. As a newer presence on the Care Quality Commission register, The Right Home Care Team Chesterfield has yet to receive its first CQC rating. We welcome this future inspection as a valuable opportunity to demonstrate the standards we hold ourselves to every day. In the meantime, we are always happy to discuss our approach, share references where appropriate, and answer any questions you may have about how we operate. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or a loved one in Chesterfield, we would be delighted to hear from you. A friendly conversation costs nothing and can help bring clarity during what is often an uncertain time. Please reach out whenever you are ready, and let us show you how thoughtful, dependable home care can make all the difference.

The Community Response Team Mid Hants supports people at home in Winchester and across mid Hampshire. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment, younger adults and people whose difficulties include alcohol or drug misuse. A good deal of our work happens at the moments when things have changed suddenly. Someone has come out of hospital, a family carer has been taken ill, or a person who was managing has stopped managing. We are used to getting involved quickly, working out what is actually needed and putting something practical in place without a long wait. That practical support covers personal care, medication, meals, mobility and keeping a household running, but it also covers the less tidy things: sorting out equipment, chasing an appointment, making sure the right professionals are talking to each other. We support people whom other providers sometimes find difficult to place, including people with mental health needs and people recovering from alcohol or drug misuse. Our approach there is not complicated. We turn up when we said we would, we do not lecture, and we keep going. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you need support at home in the Winchester area, or you are a professional trying to arrange it for someone, please get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

- Home Care
We are a home care agency working in Winchester and the surrounding part of Hampshire, supporting adults in their own homes. The people we visit include older people, those living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and younger adults whose care sits alongside work, study and family life. Support ranges from a single call in the morning through to several visits a day. We think the first conversation matters more than anything that follows it. Before care begins we come out and sit down properly. How does the day already run? What does somebody actually want help with? Just as importantly, what would they rather keep doing themselves, even if it takes longer? Independence handed over unnecessarily is very hard to recover, and a good plan protects it rather than quietly chipping away at it. Once support is running, we put our effort into continuity. The same carers going to the same households is what allows trust to build, and trust is why a worry gets mentioned early rather than after it has become urgent. If you would like to talk about care at home in this area, please get in touch and we will arrange a visit at a time that suits you.

ARCH Winchester works with people across the Winchester area in their own homes. Our work is focused on adults managing mental health conditions, people in recovery from alcohol or drug misuse, older people and younger adults, and it is built around what somebody wants their life to look like rather than around a standard package of tasks. Support of this kind depends on trust, and trust depends on consistency. We keep the same workers with the same people wherever we can, because being properly known is what makes it possible for somebody to say when things are going badly rather than covering it up until a crisis arrives. A good deal of our work is practical, helping somebody keep on top of a home, manage appointments and money, get out of the house and keep hold of the things that give a week its shape. We do not moralise, and we do not treat a setback as a failure. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that plainly. Until then, judge us on whether we do what we said we would.

We provide reablement support at home for people across Dorchester and the surrounding parts of Dorset. Our work is short term and has a clear purpose: to help somebody get back on their feet after an illness, a fall, a hospital stay or a period when things have become harder, so that they can manage at home again with as little ongoing support as possible. That means we work ourselves out of a job wherever we can. Rather than doing things for people, we help them do things for themselves, one step at a time, at a pace that suits. We support older people, people living with dementia, adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. Goals are set with the person and reviewed regularly, and we are honest when somebody needs longer term support instead, helping them arrange it rather than leaving them to it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good. If you or a relative have been referred to us, or you want to know what reablement actually involves, please get in touch and we will explain it plainly.

PCM Homecare provides support in people's own homes in Colchester and across Essex. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment, younger adults and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse. That is a broad range of need, and rather than simply list it we would sooner explain how we handle it. Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation about what somebody actually wants help with, what they can manage perfectly well themselves and how they want things done in their own home. Consistency is what we work hardest at, because care at home only really works when the person opening the door recognises who is on the other side. For people living with dementia that familiarity does more good than anything else we could promise. Where we support autistic adults, people with learning disabilities and younger adults, the emphasis is on enabling rather than doing. We also support people whom some providers find harder to place, including people recovering from alcohol or drug misuse, and our approach there is simple: we turn up when we said we would, we do not lecture, and we keep going. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. At Advantage Healthcare in Colchester, Essex, we provide home care that allows people to remain in the surroundings they know and love. We believe that staying at home, with the right support in place, makes a genuine difference to how people feel and how they live their lives. We work with individuals across Suffolk and Essex who need a range of support, whether that is help with everyday tasks, personal care, or more complex needs. Every person we support has their own routines, preferences and priorities, and we take the time to understand what matters most to each individual before we put anything in place. Care that fits around someone's life is far more meaningful than care that asks them to fit around ours. Our team is made up of people who take their work seriously and who understand that coming into someone's home is a privilege. We invest in training and ongoing development so that the people we support can feel confident in whoever comes through their door. That consistency and reliability matters enormously to the people we care for and to their families. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good. That recognition reflects the effort and commitment our team brings to their work every day, and it gives families reassurance when they are making what can be a very significant decision. If you are looking into home care for yourself or for someone close to you, we are always happy to have a straightforward conversation about what we can offer and whether we might be the right fit. There is no pressure and no obligation. We simply want to help you understand your options so that you can make the choice that feels right.

At Stivic Care, we provide home care support to people living in Colchester and the surrounding areas of Essex. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Our aim is straightforward: to help the people we support live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own homes. We understand that inviting a care provider into your home is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. From the very first conversation, we take time to understand what matters most to each person, whether that is maintaining a familiar routine, staying connected to their community, or simply having someone reliable to call on. Care is arranged around the individual, not the other way around. Our team is carefully recruited and trained to support people across a broad range of needs, and we work hard to ensure consistency so that the people we visit see familiar faces rather than a constant stream of strangers. We believe good care comes from genuine relationships built over time. We are proud to have received a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort our team puts in every single day. That said, we never see a good rating as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can improve and respond to feedback from the people we support and their families. If you are looking for home care in Colchester or the wider Essex area, we would be glad to have a conversation about how we might be able to help. Delight Supported Living provides support in people's own homes in Colchester and across Essex. Our work is to give people enough help to carry on living in their own houses, delivered by carers they know and at the times they have agreed. We visit older people needing assistance with washing, dressing, meals and medication, and people living with dementia, where familiar faces and a settled routine count for a great deal. We support people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, and younger adults needing support to live independently. For younger adults in particular, the emphasis is often less on doing things for people and more on making it possible for them to do things themselves, whether that is cooking, budgeting, keeping appointments or getting out and about. Everything starts with a home visit and an honest conversation about what would genuinely help. The plan is agreed with the person and reviewed as circumstances change. We at Pathways of Hope are a home care agency proudly supporting people across Chichester and the wider West Sussex community, delivering compassionate care in the place where people feel most themselves: their own home. Based in the PO postcode area, we are ideally positioned to reach families throughout Chichester and its surrounding villages. Our team travels to you, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to enhancing daily life. Whether you live in a quiet residential street, a rural setting on the edge of town, or closer to the heart of the city, we tailor our visits to fit seamlessly into your routine and surroundings. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. We provide dedicated support for older people, including those living with age related conditions who benefit from a familiar face and a steady hand throughout the week. Alongside this, we offer thoughtful care for adults with learning disabilities and autism, working at each person's pace and respecting the routines, preferences, and communication styles that make them who they are. Our mental health support is grounded in patience and understanding, helping individuals maintain stability, confidence, and connection to the things they enjoy. For those living with physical disabilities, we focus on promoting independence, dignity, and comfort, whether that involves personal care, mobility assistance, or simply being a reliable presence during the day. We also extend our care to younger adults, recognising that meaningful support at any age can transform quality of life. In practice, this breadth of expertise means families in Chichester have a single trusted partner who can adapt as circumstances change. A parent supporting an adult child with complex needs, a spouse caring for a partner with a long term condition, or an adult child worrying about a mother or father living alone can all find reassurance in knowing our team is skilled across a range of care needs. We take the time to listen, to understand household routines, and to build relationships that feel personal rather than clinical. As a newer registered provider, Pathways of Hope is currently awaiting our first full CQC rating, with our most recent inspection activity taking place in June 2025. Whilst a published overall rating is not yet available, we operate to the same standards of safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness, and leadership that the Care Quality Commission expects of every regulated provider. We welcome open conversations about our approach, our staff training, and the way we monitor the quality of every visit, and we are always happy to share how we work with families considering us for the first time. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand the weight families carry when making it. If you are exploring options for yourself or a loved one in Chichester, we would be delighted to hear from you, answer your questions, and talk through how we might help. Whatever stage you are at in your search, please reach out. We are here to listen, to guide, and to walk alongside you on the road ahead.

We provide care at home across Chichester and the surrounding parts of West Sussex, trading as Prestige Nursing and Care. Our visits are arranged around the person rather than around a standard pattern, covering personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and support to get out and about. A great deal of our work is with older people, including many living with dementia. Consistency is what makes that work, so we plan rotas so people see familiar carers who know their routine, their preferences and the small signs that something is not right. We also support adults living with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we communicate and how we work in someone's home so that it stays their space. Younger adults are part of our work too, and their support is shaped around the life they are leading rather than around care tasks alone. West Sussex covers a lot of ground, including villages some way from the town, and we plan our rounds so that travel does not eat into anyone's visit. We always start with a proper conversation and a full assessment, and we would rather be honest early about what we can offer than promise more than we can deliver. If you are thinking about care at home in this area, please get in touch and we will arrange to visit you.

Ace 24 provides care and support in people's own homes across Colchester and the surrounding parts of Essex. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our aim is to make staying at home a realistic choice for as long as it suits the person. Support ranges widely. Some people want one short call a day for help with washing, dressing and medication. Others need several visits covering meals, shopping, laundry and getting out and about, or longer support built around complex needs. We work with people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions including eating disorders, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Every package begins with an assessment at home and a proper conversation about what would actually help. The plan belongs to the person, and family are part of it when the person wants them to be. We plan our rotas so that the same carers visit the same people wherever possible. Familiarity makes support easier and safer, because a carer who knows someone notices quickly when something has changed. The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection. If you are considering care at home, please get in touch and we will arrange to visit and talk it through.

Our aim is to support people to live as independently as possible, in surroundings that are familiar and meaningful to them, while ensuring they feel safe, respected, and genuinely listened to. We take time to understand each person as an individual, because no two people have the same needs, preferences, or routines, and we think it matters that our support reflects that. We know that inviting a care worker into your home, or into the home of someone you love, is a significant decision. We take that trust seriously. We work closely with the people we support and their families to build relationships that feel consistent and reliable, so that familiar faces become part of a comfortable routine rather than a source of anxiety. Our team is made up of people who genuinely care about what they do. We invest in their training and development not simply to meet requirements, but because well supported staff provide better, more thoughtful care. We are always looking to improve how we work and welcome open, honest conversations with those we support and their loved ones. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and are committed to the standards expected of us. If you would like to find out more about how we might be able to help you or someone close to you, we would love to hear from you.

Our work centres on helping individuals remain in their own homes, in familiar surroundings, with the routines and independence that matter to them. We understand that inviting a carer into your home is a significant step, and we take that responsibility seriously. We aim to listen carefully to each person we support, taking time to understand what they need day to day and what matters most to them beyond just their care needs. Every individual is different, and we try to reflect that in how we work. Our team supports people with a range of home care needs, whether that involves help with personal care, assistance with daily tasks, or simply having someone reliable to check in and offer companionship. We work with clients and their families to make sure the support we provide feels right and fits naturally into their lives. We are aware that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission identified areas where we need to improve, and we want to be straightforward about that. We have taken that feedback seriously and have been working through the steps needed to address the concerns raised. We believe in being open with the people we support and their families, and we think it is important that anyone considering our care knows where we stand and what we are doing about it. Prudent Domiciliary Care provides support at home to people in Rochester and across Medway. We work with older people and people living with dementia, with people who have physical disabilities and with younger adults who need support to live independently. We should be open about our last inspection. The Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We have not tried to explain it away. The work since has gone into the things that affect people directly, which are getting the right carer to the right person reliably, recording and administering medication properly, and making sure that when somebody raises a concern it reaches a manager quickly and is answered rather than lost. The rest of what we do stands. We visit before care begins, agree the plan with the person and anyone they want present, write it in plain words and review it as needs change. Visits might mean personal care and medication, help with meals and the house, or support to get out to appointments and to see people. We work to keep the same carers going into the same homes, because familiarity is how changes get noticed early rather than late. Please get in touch to discuss support in the Medway area, and ask us about the inspection directly.

3HA Care North Essex provides support at home for people across Colchester and the north of Essex. Our work is to make staying at home practical, with help arriving at the moments it is genuinely needed. We visit older people who need a hand with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the household jobs that quietly become obstacles. We support people living with dementia, where familiar rooms and a familiar face do so much of the work on their own. We also work with people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, and people who have sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and how we help to suit the person in front of us. Every arrangement begins with a conversation about how somebody likes their day to run and what they would rather do for themselves. We review support as needs change, keep families informed where that is wanted, and plan for continuity so that people are not constantly explaining their own routine to somebody new. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather say so plainly. If you are looking into care at home in this part of Essex, please call us. We will visit, listen and give you an honest view of what we can do.

Here at Scott Care Medway, we provide home care support to people living in Rochester and the surrounding Medway area. We work with individuals who have a wide range of needs, including those living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Our aim is straightforward: to help people live well in their own homes, on their own terms. We understand that inviting a care worker into your home is a big decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. We take time to get to know each person we support, their routines, their preferences, and what matters most to them day to day. That understanding shapes how we work and helps us provide support that genuinely fits around someone's life rather than the other way around. Our most recent CQC inspection rated us as requires improvement, and we want to be open about that. We have taken the findings seriously and have been working hard to address the areas identified. We believe honesty is important in care, and we would rather be straightforward with you than gloss over something that matters. The work we have been doing internally reflects our commitment to getting things right for the people we support. If you are looking for home care support for yourself or someone you care about in the Medway area, we would welcome the chance to have a conversation. We are happy to talk through what kind of support might be helpful, answer any questions you have, and explain how we work in practice. There is no pressure and no obligation, just an honest discussion about whether we could be the right fit for your situation. Please do get in touch with our Rochester team to find out more.

E Rock Care provides support at home for people across Chesterfield and the surrounding parts of Derbyshire. Our work is to make staying at home practical, with help arriving at the times it is needed and everything else left as the person prefers it. Our carers visit older people who need a hand with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the domestic jobs that quietly turn into obstacles. We support people living with dementia in the surroundings that already make sense to them, and we work with people living with a physical disability and younger adults who want support arranged around their own plans rather than support that takes over their decisions. Every plan starts with a conversation about how the person likes their day to run and what they would rather do themselves. We review arrangements as needs change and keep families informed where that is wanted. Reliability matters a great deal to us, because being late is no small thing when somebody is waiting to get up or take medication. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we prefer to state that clearly. If you would like to talk about care at home in this area, please get in touch and we will arrange to come out and listen.

Arranging and funding home care in Chester
Starting with a care needs assessment
Almost every arrangement begins with a care needs assessment. This is a free conversation, usually held at home, in which a social care practitioner looks at washing, dressing, medication, meals, mobility and how safely someone manages overnight. Anyone who appears to need support has a right to one, regardless of income or savings. You can request an assessment yourself or on behalf of a relative, and it is worth doing early, because the written outcome becomes the reference point for everything that follows.
Who pays and how funding is decided
Once needs are agreed, a separate financial assessment looks at income and capital to work out what, if anything, the council will contribute. Cheshire West and Chester Council is the authority responsible for both the needs assessment and any funded support in this area, and it can arrange care directly or offer a direct payment so that a family chooses its own agency. Where the capital threshold is exceeded the arrangement is self funded, although the council will still carry out the assessment and give advice.
Understanding the cost of visits
Home care is normally charged by the hour or by the visit, so the weekly figure depends entirely on how often carers come and for how long. Short calls a few times a day cost less than continuous cover, but the hourly rate tends to be higher for very brief visits and for nights, weekends and bank holidays. Ask any agency for a written schedule of charges that covers travel, cancellations and rising need, and confirm whether the quoted rate changes once a package grows. Anyone paying for their own care should also ask whether the agency reviews its rates annually and how much notice it gives of an increase.
Choosing between home care agencies in Chester
Reading the CQC rating properly
The 531 agencies listed here carry the whole spread of inspection outcomes, from Outstanding through Good and Requires Improvement to Inadequate, with a large group not yet rated. A rating is a summary, not a verdict on the carers who will actually visit, so open the report itself. The findings on safe care and on whether the service is well led matter most for home visits, and a newly registered agency with no rating is not automatically a poor choice. Check the date of the inspection too, since an older report may describe a service that has changed hands or changed manager since the inspectors called.
Questions worth asking before you sign
Reliability is what families notice first, so ask how many different carers will attend in a typical fortnight, what happens when the regular carer is unwell, and how late a call has to be before the office tells you. Check that the care plan is written with the person receiving support rather than about them, and ask how it is reviewed. Notice periods, out of hours contact and the process for raising a concern are all worth confirming in writing before anything starts. If you can, speak to someone already using the agency, because a candid account of whether carers arrive when they say they will is the most useful evidence you will gather.
Frequently asked questions about home care in Chester
How many home care agencies are there in Chester?
Chester has 531 CQC registered home care agencies: 13 Outstanding, 252 Good, 23 Requires improvement, 3 Inadequate, 240 not yet rated. Counts come from the CQC register and are kept up to date as ratings change.
How much does home care cost in Chester?
Hourly care visits, North West: £25.00 to £28.90 an hour. Middle half of prices from 9 agencies. Median £26.58. Shown for North West because too few Manchester agencies publish a rate. Published prices come from agencies that publish rates, so treat them as a guide. Ask the agency for its own price.
Which home care agencies in Chester were inspected most recently?
Faiths Care (29 September 2026), Home Instead Chichester & Bognor Regis (23 September 2026) and Carerecruit Solutions Limited (8 September 2026) have the most recent CQC reports.
Can Cheshire West and Chester Council pay for home care in Chester?
It can, depending on the outcome of a needs assessment and a financial assessment. The council looks first at whether the level of need meets the national eligibility threshold, then at income and capital to decide what you contribute. Support may arrive as commissioned care or as a direct payment that lets you choose your own agency. Where savings sit above the threshold the care is self funded, but the council still owes you the assessment and practical advice.
How do I arrange a care needs assessment in Chester?
Contact the adult social care team at Cheshire West and Chester Council and ask for a care needs assessment. A GP, district nurse or hospital discharge team can also make the referral if that is easier. The assessment is free and is not means tested, so there is no reason to delay it while you work out finances. Keep a short note of the difficulties you have noticed, because concrete examples are far more useful to the assessor than general worry.
How far ahead should I start looking for home care?
Start sooner than feels necessary, ideally while the person still has the energy to take part in the decision. Assessments, financial checks and the agency assessment visit each take time, and good providers in a given postcode sometimes have no capacity for the exact call times you want. A few weeks of lead time turns an urgent scramble into an ordinary choice. Hospital discharge moves much faster, so if that is the situation, say so when you ring the council.
Which providers in Chester offer home care?
531 providers match this search, all of them agencies registered with the Care Quality Commission to deliver personal care in people's own homes. They run from national names to small local offices, and each one has a profile here setting out its rating and registration details. Coverage is by postcode rather than by town boundary, so confirm that an agency actually visits the street in question. Use the listing to build a shortlist, then check the inspection report for each.
What should I ask when a home care agency visits to assess?
Ask who will carry out the visits, how continuity is protected and what the agency does when a carer calls in sick. Find out how medication is recorded, how the office is contacted outside working hours and how quickly a care plan can change if someone comes out of hospital needing more help. Request a copy of the charges in writing, including travel and cancellation terms. Finally, ask how complaints are handled and how often the package will be reviewed.
What is the difference between a care home and a nursing home?
A care home provides accommodation with help for daily living such as washing, dressing, meals and company, delivered by care staff. A nursing home offers all of that plus a registered nurse on duty around the clock for conditions that need clinical oversight, such as complex wounds, tube feeding or unstable long term illness. The registration held with the Care Quality Commission shows which category a setting falls into. Home care differs from both, because support comes to the person rather than the person moving.
