About Us
Comfort Call at Astley Court provides care at home for people across Salford and the surrounding parts of Manchester. We support a broad range of needs, and what connects the work is building support around the person rather than around a category.
Our carers visit older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals and mobility, and we support people living with dementia in the place where familiar routines already do so much good. We also work with adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss, younger adults, and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse, where consistency and an absence of judgement matter more than anything else.
Support is agreed with the person, reviewed as needs change, and delivered by familiar carers wherever we can manage it.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Requires Improvement. We would rather put that in front of you now than have you come across it later. We took the findings seriously, we have been working through them, and we are willing to discuss the detail with anyone who asks.
