About Us

At Voyage North Derbyshire, we provide home care support to people living in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire. We work with adults who have a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical disabilities, and we also support younger adults who need a helping hand to live as independently as possible.

We believe that care at home, done well, makes an enormous difference to someone's quality of life. Our role is to support people in their own surroundings, on their own terms, so that they can carry on doing the things that matter to them. That might mean helping with daily routines, getting out into the community, managing appointments or simply having someone reliable to talk to. Every person we support has different priorities, and we take the time to understand what those are before we do anything else.

Our team is made up of people who genuinely know the individuals they support. We are not a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Consistency matters enormously in home care, and we put real thought into matching people with support workers who are well suited to them and who will stay with them over time.

We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as good across the board. We are proud of that rating, though we are equally aware that maintaining it requires ongoing attention and honest reflection.
