- Home Care
Belong at Home Chester provides care at home in Chester and the surrounding area. We support older adults and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with mental health conditions, and those with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment. The help ranges from a single short call in the morning to several visits a day: personal care, support with medication, meals, keeping a household running, getting out and about, and company for people who might otherwise go days without a proper conversation. Because this work takes place in somebody's private space, often at moments when they feel exposed, how it is done matters as much as what is done. Knocking and waiting. Explaining before acting. Protecting privacy and dignity during personal care as a matter of course. Speaking to the person rather than over their head to whoever else is in the room. For people living with dementia, a familiar face and a routine that keeps its shape do more to steady a day than anything else we could offer, so we keep the same care workers going to the same households wherever we possibly can. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. If you are looking into care at home in this area, get in touch and we will talk it through honestly, including telling you if we are not the right fit for what you need.

- Home Care
We at Be Caring Manchester are proud to offer compassionate home care across Manchester, supporting older people, adults with dementia, and individuals with a wide range of complex needs in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. As a home care agency based in the M postcode area of Manchester, we bring our support directly to where our clients feel most at ease. Rather than asking people to adjust to a new environment, we work within the surroundings they know and love, whether that is a long standing family home, a flat, or supported accommodation. This means treasured routines, familiar neighbourhoods, and the reassurance of remaining close to loved ones can all continue uninterrupted. Our specialisms reflect the diverse community we serve. We provide older person care and dementia care with sensitivity and patience, recognising how important consistency and gentle understanding are when memory and confidence begin to change. For adults living with learning disabilities or autism, we focus on enabling independence, respecting individual preferences, and building trusting relationships that support meaningful daily living. Our mental health support is delivered with dignity and without judgement, whilst our care for people with physical disabilities and those with visual or hearing impairments is tailored to promote confidence, safety, and genuine quality of life. We also support younger adults whose care needs may not be met by traditional providers, ensuring they receive the age appropriate, aspirational support they deserve. In practice, this means our care is never one size fits all. Families can expect us to take time to understand each person as an individual, listening carefully to their history, preferences, and hopes for the future. Whether the support required is help with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship, or more specialised assistance, we aim to deliver it with warmth, reliability, and respect. Following our most recent CQC inspection in April 2025, we are pleased to be rated Good overall, with a Good rating across every domain: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this consistent standard offers genuine reassurance that the care we provide is not only kind and person centred but also safely managed, effectively delivered, and thoughtfully led. It reflects our ongoing commitment to doing right by the people who trust us. Choosing home care is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that responsibility. If you are exploring support for a loved one in Manchester, we would be delighted to hear from you, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about the next step. Whatever your circumstances, you will find a warm welcome and a listening ear at Be Caring Manchester.

- Home Care
We at Westfields are proud to provide compassionate home care to individuals and families across Manchester, delivering personalised support in the place people love most: their own home. As a dedicated home care agency serving the wider Manchester area and surrounding communities in the M postcode region, we understand that choosing care is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we are here to make that journey feel supported, informed, and reassuring. Our home is Manchester itself. Rather than asking residents to adapt to a new environment, we bring thoughtful, professional care directly to the familiar surroundings of home, whether that is a family house, a bungalow, or a flat within the city and its neighbouring districts. This means the comfort of a favourite armchair, the routine of a morning cup of tea, and the closeness of neighbours and loved ones can all remain a treasured part of daily life, whilst the right level of support is quietly woven in alongside them. The people we support have a wide range of needs, and our team is experienced in providing care that reflects this diversity. We offer specialist support for older people, including tailored dementia care that focuses on dignity, patience, and gentle routines that help reduce anxiety and confusion. For those living with mental health needs, we provide understanding, consistent support that respects each person's individual experience. Our carers are also experienced in supporting adults with physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairment, and younger adults who benefit from care designed around independence and personal goals. We additionally support individuals recovering from or managing alcohol and drug related challenges, offering a non judgemental and empathetic approach. In practice, this means our care is never one size fits all. It might involve helping someone with dementia follow a calming morning routine, assisting a younger adult to maintain independence at home and in the community, supporting personal care with warmth and discretion, or simply being a reliable, friendly presence during the day. For families, it means peace of mind knowing that a trained, compassionate carer is helping their loved one live safely and well, and that changes in need can be responded to with flexibility and understanding. We are proud to be rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, following our most recent inspection in May 2022. Importantly, we achieved a Good rating across every one of the five key areas the CQC assesses: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this consistent recognition matters. It reflects that the people we support are cared for safely, that the care we provide makes a genuine difference, that our team is kind and considerate, that we respond thoughtfully to individual needs, and that our leadership is committed to maintaining and building on the quality of what we do. If you are exploring home care in Manchester for a parent, partner, relative, or yourself, we warmly invite you to get in touch with us at Westfields. We would be delighted to listen, answer your questions, and talk through how the right support at home could help your loved one continue to live life in the way they choose. Whatever stage you are at in your search, you are very welcome to reach out, and we will be here to help guide you through every step with care and understanding.

We at Sovereign Lives Care (Greater Manchester) are proud to offer compassionate home care across Manchester and the wider Salford area, supporting individuals to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the M postcode area of Greater Manchester, our team serves households across Manchester, Salford, and neighbouring communities in the North West. Being a home care provider rather than a residential setting, our focus is on bringing warmth, dignity, and professional support directly to your doorstep, whether that be a family house, a flat, or sheltered accommodation. We understand that familiar surroundings, treasured belongings, and everyday routines matter enormously, particularly when someone is coming to terms with new care needs. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide dedicated older person care for those who wish to remain independent at home whilst receiving a helping hand with daily living. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, our approach is patient, person centred, and gentle, focusing on consistency, familiar faces, and calm routines that help reduce anxiety and confusion. We also support adults living with mental health conditions, offering the steady, respectful presence that can make such a meaningful difference to wellbeing and confidence. For younger adults and individuals living with a physical disability, we tailor our support around personal goals, whether that involves assistance with mobility, personal care, medication prompts, or simply the companionship needed to enjoy hobbies and community life. We also welcome enquiries from those with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our communication and daily support to suit each person's preferences and abilities. In practice, this means care plans built around the individual rather than the diagnosis, with families kept informed and involved every step of the way. As a newer entry on the care landscape, our profile is currently marked as Not Yet Rated by the Care Quality Commission. This simply means our first formal inspection is still to take place, and we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the standards we hold ourselves to. In the meantime, we are always happy to speak openly with prospective clients and their loved ones about our approach, our team, and how we work. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we know families often carry the weight of that choice quietly. If you are exploring options for a parent, partner, relative, or yourself, we would be delighted to have a friendly, no pressure conversation about what support might look like. Please do get in touch to learn more about how we at Sovereign Lives Care could help your family feel confident, cared for, and at ease at home.

We at Odan Healthcare Agency are proud to offer compassionate home care across Manchester and the surrounding Salford community, supporting individuals to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the M postcode area, we serve families throughout Manchester and the wider North West region. Rather than asking loved ones to move into unfamiliar surroundings, we bring professional, tailored support directly to them, whether that means a quiet suburban street, a family home filled with memories, or independent living accommodation. Our reach across Salford means we are well placed to respond quickly and consistently to the needs of local households. Our specialisms cover home care, dementia care, mental health support, and care for adults living with a physical disability. In practice, this means we can support a wide spectrum of needs under one trusted team. For someone living with dementia, our approach centres on familiarity, gentle routine, and patience, helping to reduce anxiety and preserve dignity as the condition changes over time. For those living with mental health challenges, we offer steady, understanding companionship alongside practical help, working sensitively to promote wellbeing and confidence day by day. For adults with a physical disability, we focus on enabling independence, assisting with mobility, personal care, and the everyday tasks that make a home feel like home, always led by what the individual wants to achieve. Home care with us is genuinely person centred. That might mean help getting up and ready in the morning, medication prompts, preparing a favourite meal, or simply a reliable friendly face who calls in at the same time each day. For families, this brings enormous reassurance. Knowing that a loved one is being visited by a familiar carer, that important routines are being followed, and that concerns will be flagged quickly, allows relatives to step back into the role of son, daughter, partner, or friend, rather than carrying the full weight of caregiving alone. As a newer presence on the CareCompass directory, Odan Healthcare Agency has not yet received a formal CQC overall rating. A "Not Yet Rated" status simply reflects where a provider sits in the inspection cycle and is not an indication of the quality of care being delivered. We welcome open conversations with families about our approach, our staff training, and the safeguards we have in place, and we encourage prospective clients to ask any questions they wish so they can make a fully informed choice. If you are exploring home care in Manchester or Salford for yourself or someone you love, we would be glad to hear from you. Reach out to arrange a friendly, no obligation conversation, and let us talk through how we can help your family feel supported, safe, and truly at home.

- Home Care
We at Star Domiciliary Care are a home care agency proudly serving families across Manchester, offering compassionate older person care in the comfort and familiarity of your own home. Our mission is simple: to help the people of Manchester live well, safely, and with dignity, wherever they call home. Because our care is delivered directly in the homes of those we support, there is no unfamiliar environment to adjust to. Instead, we bring our warmth, professionalism, and attentive approach into the places our clients know best, whether that is a family home filled with memories, a bungalow, or a flat in the heart of the community. Being based in Manchester means we understand the rhythms of local life and can respond quickly and thoughtfully to the needs of the families we serve across the city and its surrounding neighbourhoods. Our specialisms lie in older person care and home care, and we believe these two areas go hand in hand. Growing older often brings new challenges, from managing daily routines to navigating health conditions that require a little more support than before. For some, that might mean a helping hand with personal care, medication reminders, or preparing a favourite meal. For others, it may involve companionship, mobility support, or assistance with the small tasks that make a house feel like a home. Whatever the need, our aim is always to promote independence, preserve dignity, and offer genuine peace of mind to families who want the very best for their loved ones. We know that inviting a carer into a family member's home is a significant decision, and one that is rarely taken lightly. That is why we work closely with each client and their relatives to build a care plan that reflects individual preferences, routines, and wishes. We take the time to listen, to learn, and to adapt, because no two people are the same and no two care journeys should look identical. Our approach is centred on respect, kindness, and clear communication at every stage. Families searching for reassurance will be pleased to know that Star Domiciliary Care has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission across every domain assessed, including Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent recognition reflects the standards we hold ourselves to each day and the trust that our clients and their loved ones place in us. A Good rating across the board is not simply a badge; it is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to delivering care that families can rely on. If you are exploring home care options in Manchester for a parent, partner, or relative, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We understand how important this decision is, and we are here to answer your questions, ease your concerns, and walk alongside your family with compassion and care. At Star Domiciliary Care, your loved one is never just a client; they are part of a community we are honoured to serve.

- Home Care
We are Thriving, a home care agency working across Manchester, and our support happens in the place where people already feel most themselves, which is their own home. We care for older people and for younger adults, and we have experience supporting people living with mental health conditions, with physical disability, and with visual or hearing impairment. Home care only works when it is built around the person rather than the other way round. So we take time at the beginning to understand how someone likes their morning to go, what they want to keep doing for themselves, and where a little practical help would make the real difference. Some people want a short call to get the day started safely. Others want longer, more regular company alongside help with washing, dressing, meals and medication. We shape the rota around those preferences and we work hard to send the same familiar faces rather than a different person each week. Manchester is a large and varied city and the families who contact us are just as varied. We listen first, we explain plainly what we can and cannot offer, and we would rather be honest at the outset than promise something we could not sustain. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. Until that first inspection takes place we are happy to be asked anything about how we recruit, train and supervise our care workers, and we would welcome a conversation with anyone weighing up their options.

We at RSM Care Links are a dedicated home care agency supporting older people and adults across Manchester, bringing compassionate, personalised care directly into the comfort and familiarity of your own home. Serving families throughout the M postcode area and the wider North West, we believe that quality home care begins with understanding each person as an individual. Because our care is delivered where you live, your environment stays exactly as it should be: your own front door, your own armchair, your own routines, and the memories held within familiar walls. Manchester is a vibrant, diverse city, and we are proud to support residents across its many neighbourhoods, whether that means helping someone remain independent in a quiet suburban street or supporting a family in the heart of a bustling community. There is no upheaval, no unfamiliar surroundings to adjust to, just thoughtful support woven gently into the rhythm of daily life. Our team offers a broad range of specialist support tailored to the person in front of us. For older people, we provide companionship, practical help with everyday tasks, and the reassurance of a friendly, familiar face. For those living with dementia, we take a patient, calm, and consistent approach, focusing on preserving dignity, encouraging independence where possible, and offering gentle reassurance during moments of confusion. Families often tell us how much peace of mind it brings to know their loved one is being cared for by people who genuinely understand the condition. We also support adults living with mental health needs, working sensitively alongside individuals to build trust, encourage wellbeing, and promote confidence in daily living. For those with physical disabilities, our carers assist with mobility, personal care, and the practical elements of home life, always following the lead of the person we support. We extend the same considered approach to adults with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our communication and care techniques to ensure every interaction feels respectful, clear, and empowering. Younger adults are equally welcome, and we recognise that care at any stage of life should reflect personal goals, aspirations, and lifestyle. For families, this means one trusted team able to adapt as needs evolve. Whether you are arranging a few hours of weekly companionship, more intensive daily support, or specialist assistance for a complex condition, we aim to be a steady, reliable presence you can count on. As a newer registered provider, we are currently listed as Not Yet Rated by the Care Quality Commission. This simply reflects that a full inspection has not yet taken place, and we look forward to welcoming the CQC in due course. In the meantime, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of safety, kindness, and professionalism, and we are always happy to discuss our approach, policies, and the training our carers receive so that you can feel fully informed. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand the courage it takes to reach out. If you are exploring options for yourself or a loved one in Manchester, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch for a warm, no obligation conversation about how we can help, and together we can create a care plan that feels right for your family.

At Crystal Bloom, we provide home care to people living in Manchester and the surrounding areas. Our aim is simple: to support people to live well in their own homes, on their own terms, with their independence and dignity kept firmly at the centre of everything we do. We work with older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia or a physical disability. We understand that no two people are the same, and the support we offer reflects that. Whether someone needs help with daily routines, companionship, or more complex personal care, we take the time to get to know each person properly before anything else. That means understanding their preferences, their routines, and what matters most to them in their day to day life. Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. We know how much it means to families to have someone they can genuinely trust coming into their loved one's home. We approach every visit with patience and consistency, because familiarity and calm really do make a difference. For younger adults living with a physical disability, we are here to support independence in a practical, respectful way. We listen carefully to what people want from their care rather than making assumptions, and we work around their lives rather than asking them to work around us. We are proud to be a Manchester based team supporting our own community. The people we care for are our neighbours, and that sense of local connection matters to us. We are always happy to have a conversation with anyone thinking about care for themselves or a family member. There is no pressure and no obligation. We would rather take the time to answer questions properly and help people feel confident about their choices than rush anything.

We at Jordan Care and Recruitment are proud to offer compassionate home care across Manchester, supporting older people, younger adults, and individuals living with dementia or physical disabilities in the place they cherish most: their own home. Based in the heart of Manchester within the M postcode area, our agency is ideally positioned to reach families across the city and its surrounding communities throughout the North West. Rather than asking loved ones to move into a residential setting, we bring carefully tailored support directly to their doorstep, allowing them to remain surrounded by familiar belongings, treasured memories, and the neighbourhood they know so well. Whether your relative lives in a quiet suburban street or a bustling part of central Manchester, our team is committed to making each visit feel warm, personal, and reassuring. Our specialisms span a broad spectrum of care needs, ensuring that we can support individuals at many different stages of life. For older people, we provide thoughtful companionship and assistance with daily routines, helping to preserve dignity and independence. Our dementia care is delivered with patience, gentleness, and a deep understanding of how to create calm, consistent routines that bring comfort to those navigating memory loss. For adults living with physical disabilities, we focus on practical, respectful support that empowers each person to live life on their own terms. We also extend our care to younger adults who may require ongoing assistance, recognising that every individual deserves a bespoke approach shaped around their goals, preferences, and personality. In practice, this means our care plans are never one size fits all. We take the time to listen to each family, understand the rhythm of the household, and learn what truly matters to the person receiving care. From morning routines and medication prompts to mobility support, meal preparation, and meaningful social interaction, our visits are designed to enrich daily life rather than simply complete tasks. Families can expect open communication, a friendly familiar face wherever possible, and a genuine sense of partnership as we work together to keep their loved one safe and content at home. As a newer presence on the Care Quality Commission register, Jordan Care and Recruitment is currently awaiting its first formal inspection rating. Whilst we do not yet have a published CQC judgement, we are fully registered and operate to the same rigorous standards expected of every regulated provider in England. Being newly rated simply means our inspection journey is just beginning, and we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the quality, warmth, and professionalism that define our approach. Families are encouraged to speak with us directly about our policies, training, and the values that underpin everything we do. Choosing home care is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that choice. If you are exploring options for a loved one in Manchester, we would be delighted to have a gentle, no pressure conversation about how we might help. As a dedicated home care agency serving the local community, we believe that meaningful care begins with truly understanding each person we visit. Based in the M postcode area of Manchester, our team travels across the city and surrounding neighbourhoods to bring personalised support directly to people's doorsteps. Our care covers a broad range of needs, including older person care, dementia care, mental health support, physical disability care, and tailored support for younger adults. In practice, this means our team is experienced in adapting to a wide variety of circumstances. For an older person, this might involve gentle assistance with daily routines, medication prompts, and companionship. For someone living with dementia, our approach focuses on calm, consistent, and reassuring support that respects their dignity and reduces anxiety. For younger adults and those with physical disabilities, we focus on promoting independence, encouraging confidence, and supporting people to pursue the activities and goals that matter most to them. For those navigating mental health challenges, we offer patient, understanding care that prioritises emotional wellbeing alongside practical support. Families tell us that the greatest comfort comes from knowing their loved one is treated as an individual. We take time to listen, to understand life stories, preferences, and routines, and to build trusting relationships that endure. Communication with families is central to how we work, ensuring relatives feel involved, informed, and reassured at every step. We are open and transparent about our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection, dated 10 June 2024, which gave us an overall rating of Requires Improvement. Within that inspection, we were rated Good in both the Effective and Caring domains, a recognition that reflects the kindness of our team and the meaningful outcomes we help people achieve. We acknowledge that the Safe, Responsive, and Well-led areas were rated Requires Improvement, and we are wholeheartedly committed to learning from this feedback. Our team is actively working on strengthening these areas, with clear plans in place to improve responsiveness, leadership oversight, and safety practices. We see this as an important opportunity to grow and to demonstrate our dedication to delivering the highest standard of care for every person we support. If you are exploring home care options for someone you love in Manchester, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Twinlight Healthcare provides care and support at home across Manchester. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Most people would rather stay in their own home, among their own things and their own neighbours, and with sensible support in place a great many can. Our job is to make that practical rather than theoretical. Support can be a single morning call to help someone wash, dress and start the day safely, or several visits covering personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and a check before bed. Consistency is the thing we work hardest at. Care at home falls apart when the face at the door keeps changing, so we build small teams around each person and protect them. For people living with dementia that familiarity matters more than anything else we could offer. Where somebody has a physical disability we learn how their equipment is used and how they prefer to be helped to move, and we follow their way of doing it. Where somebody has a sight or hearing impairment we adapt how we communicate and take care to leave the home exactly as they expect to find it. If you are considering care at home in Manchester, for yourself or for a relative, we are happy to come out and talk it over honestly, including telling you if we are not the right fit.

We at Comprehensive Care are proud to offer trusted home care across Manchester and the wider Oldham area, bringing compassionate, personalised support directly to the people who need it most. As a home care agency rooted in the North West, we believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity, comfort, and independence in the place they know best: their own home. Operating throughout Manchester and the surrounding communities of Oldham, our team travels to residents wherever they call home, whether that be a family house, a flat, or supported accommodation. Familiar surroundings play a powerful role in wellbeing, and by delivering care in these settings, we help the people we support remain connected to their neighbourhoods, their routines, and the memories that matter to them. Our carers work flexibly across the M postcode area, ensuring that visits fit around each person's daily life rather than the other way around. The breadth of our specialisms reflects our commitment to inclusive, thoughtful care. We support older people who value companionship and a little extra help around the home, as well as individuals living with dementia, where consistency, patience, and gentle reassurance make all the difference. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, our approach focuses on preserving identity, reducing anxiety, and creating calm, predictable routines that bring comfort to both the person and those who love them. We also provide dedicated care for adults with learning disabilities and autism, working alongside each individual to promote independence, choice, and meaningful daily activity. Our mental health support is delivered with sensitivity and without judgement, offering a steady presence for those managing conditions that can feel isolating. For people living with physical disabilities or with visual and hearing impairments, we adapt our approach to remove barriers and enable full participation in everyday life, from personal care to accessing the community. Our support extends to younger adults who may be transitioning towards independent living, as well as individuals recovering from or managing eating disorders and those affected by alcohol or drug misuse. In these areas, empathy and consistency are essential. We work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other support networks to ensure that care is joined up, respectful, and focused on long term wellbeing rather than short term fixes. In practice, this means that when you choose Comprehensive Care, you gain a partner who listens first. We take time to understand each person's history, preferences, cultural background, and goals before agreeing a plan of support. Whether the need is help with medication, personal care, meal preparation, mobility, companionship, or more complex clinical needs, our carers arrive prepared, informed, and ready to make each visit count. Families are kept involved and updated, because we know that peace of mind matters just as much as the practical support we provide. As a newer registered provider, we are currently awaiting our first full Care Quality Commission rating following our recent inspection activity. Whilst we do not yet have a published overall rating, we welcome the scrutiny that comes with CQC oversight and view it as an important part of building trust with the communities we serve. We are committed to transparency, to continuous improvement, and to demonstrating through everyday practice the standards our team strives to uphold. Families are encouraged to speak with us directly about our approach, our training, and the ways in which we monitor the quality of care we deliver. Choosing home care for a loved one is rarely a simple decision. It often comes at a time of uncertainty, when families are balancing worry, love, and a wish to do the right thing. We understand this deeply, and we approach every enquiry with warmth and without pressure. If you are exploring care options in Manchester or Oldham, we would be honoured to have a conversation with you, answer your questions, and help you understand whether our support might be the right fit. We at Pro Support are proud to provide compassionate home care across Manchester, bringing professional support directly into the places our clients know and love best: their own homes. As a dedicated home care agency serving the Manchester area and the wider North West, we understand that choosing care is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Operating throughout the M postcode area, our team travels to clients across Manchester, delivering personalised support wherever it is needed. Whether visiting a family home in a quiet residential street, a flat in the heart of the city, or sheltered accommodation, we adapt to each environment, ensuring that familiar surroundings remain a source of comfort rather than a barrier to receiving excellent care. Home is more than a location; it is a place of memories, independence, and identity, and we believe care should honour that. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. We provide dedicated support for older people, offering everything from companionship and help with daily routines to more involved personal care. For those living with dementia, our approach is patient, gentle, and centred on preserving dignity, using consistent routines and familiar faces to bring reassurance. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping individuals live the lives they choose with the right level of encouragement and practical assistance. Beyond this, we work with adults experiencing mental health challenges, those with physical disabilities, and clients living with visual or hearing impairments, tailoring our communication and care techniques to suit each person. We extend our care to younger adults who benefit from home based support, and we offer sensitive, non judgemental care for those recovering from eating disorders or navigating the complex journey of alcohol and drug misuse recovery. In practice, this breadth means families rarely need to look elsewhere as needs evolve; we grow with our clients, adjusting care plans thoughtfully and collaboratively. For families, this means peace of mind. It means knowing that a loved one is being supported by carers who understand their specific condition, who respect their preferences, and who treat them as an individual rather than a diagnosis. It means regular communication, clear planning, and a willingness to listen when circumstances change. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection recognised us as Good across the domains of Effective, Caring, and Responsive care. This reflects our commitment to delivering support that genuinely makes a difference: care that works, care that is delivered with warmth, and care that adapts to each person's changing needs. Whilst we do not currently hold an overall published rating, these domain outcomes speak to the values that guide our team every day, and we continue to build on this foundation with every visit we make. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or someone you love in Manchester, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Choosing care can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Our team is here to listen, to answer your questions honestly, and to help you understand what thoughtful, professional home care could look like for your family. At Peak Home Care, we provide support to people in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire who want to live comfortably and independently in their own homes. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, those with learning disabilities or autism, people with mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also support people who are managing challenges around alcohol or drug misuse, and we approach every situation without judgement. We are proud to have received a rating of "Good" from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent, thoughtful care our team delivers day to day. That rating matters to us not as a badge, but as confirmation that the people we support are being looked after in the way they deserve. What we do is straightforward: we listen, we plan care around the individual rather than fitting people into a rigid routine, and we make sure that whoever comes through the door feels like a familiar face rather than a stranger. The people we support are at home, on their own ground, and we respect that. Our role is to assist and enable, not to take over. We understand that inviting a carer into your home, or into the home of someone you love, is a significant decision. We take that trust seriously. Our team is carefully recruited, well trained, and supported to do their jobs properly, because quality care for others starts with looking after the people providing it. If you would like to find out more about how we might be able to help you or a family member, we would be very happy to have a conversation. There is no pressure, just an honest discussion about what you need and whether we are the right fit.

We at Chesterfield Home Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Chesterfield and the surrounding Derbyshire communities, supporting older people, younger adults, and those living with dementia to remain safe and comfortable in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the S postcode area of Chesterfield, our team is well placed to reach families throughout the town and its neighbouring villages in the East Midlands. Because our care comes to you, the environment that matters most is your own front room, kitchen, and garden, the familiar spaces filled with memories, favourite chairs, and treasured photographs. Our role is to fit gently into that setting, respecting routines, preferences, and the quiet rhythms of home life, whilst offering the reliable support that makes independent living possible. Our specialisms include older person care, dementia care, and support for younger adults, which means we tailor every visit to the individual rather than the diagnosis. For older residents, this may involve help with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and companionship that lifts the spirits on quieter days. For those living with dementia, we focus on continuity, patience, and gentle reassurance, working closely with families to understand life histories, personal preferences, and the small details that bring comfort during moments of confusion. For younger adults, we recognise that care should never limit ambition or independence, and we shape our support around education, work, hobbies, and the social connections that make life meaningful. What this looks like in practice is a genuine partnership with families. We listen carefully at the outset, build a care plan that reflects real life rather than a template, and keep communication open so that relatives, whether living nearby in Chesterfield or further afield, feel informed and involved. Small changes in wellbeing are noticed early, concerns are raised promptly, and adjustments are made calmly and collaboratively.

- Home Care
Liaison Care provides support in people's own homes in Chesterfield and the surrounding parts of Derbyshire. We work with older people and with younger adults who need a hand to carry on living independently. We think the point of home care is to fit quietly into someone's existing life rather than to reorganise it. So our first conversation is about what has become difficult and what the person wants to keep doing for themselves. From there we agree what our visits will cover, which might be help to wash and dress, support with medication, meals, laundry and housework, shopping, or company and a check that all is well. We write the plan down in plain language, we share it with the person and with family where they want that, and we change it when circumstances change rather than leaving it to drift. Continuity is something we take seriously. Letting someone into your home to help with personal care requires trust, and trust is built by seeing the same faces. We keep teams small, we turn up when we say we will, and we tell people promptly if something has to change. Our carers are also our early warning system. Someone who visits regularly notices when a person is eating less, sleeping badly or seeming unsteady, and we act on those observations rather than filing them away.

We at Eyam Domiciliary Service are proud to offer compassionate home care across Chesterfield and the surrounding Derbyshire communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. As a dedicated home care agency in the East Midlands, we bring skilled, person centred support directly to your doorstep. Rather than asking loved ones to move into an unfamiliar setting, we come to them. Our care is delivered within the comfort of each individual's home, whether that is a family house, a bungalow, or a flat within the wider Chesterfield area. This means residents remain surrounded by their own belongings, cherished memories, familiar neighbours, and the daily routines that bring them comfort and a sense of identity. For many families, this continuity is invaluable, and we work respectfully alongside households to ensure our presence feels supportive rather than intrusive. Our specialisms reflect the breadth of need within the community we serve. We provide older person care with warmth and dignity, whilst also supporting younger adults who benefit from tailored assistance to live independently. Our team is experienced in dementia care, offering the patience, consistency, and gentle reassurance that people living with memory difficulties truly need. We also support individuals living with mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and those with visual or hearing impairment, adapting our communication and approach so that every person feels understood and respected. In practice, this means care plans are built around the individual, not the other way round. Whether someone requires help with personal care, medication prompts, mobility support, meaningful companionship, or more complex daily assistance, we shape our visits around their preferences, routines, and goals. Families can feel reassured knowing their relative is supported by carers who take the time to truly know them as a person. We are proud to hold an Outstanding overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, following our most recent inspection. Within that rating, we have been recognised as Outstanding in three key areas: Caring, Responsive, and Well led, alongside Good ratings for Safe and Effective. This independent recognition reflects the culture we work hard to nurture every single day: a genuinely kind team, leadership that listens and improves, and a responsive approach that adapts as people's needs change. For families weighing up their options, we hope this rating offers meaningful reassurance that the care their loved one receives will be of a consistently high standard. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand that reaching out for support can feel like a significant step. If you are exploring care for yourself, a parent, or another loved one in Chesterfield or the wider Derbyshire area, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch to have a warm, unhurried conversation about how we might help, and let us walk alongside your family with the compassion and expertise you deserve.

- Home Care
We at Carers Sitting Service are proud to provide compassionate home care across Chesterfield and the surrounding Derbyshire communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. As a home care agency based in the Chesterfield area, we bring our support directly to you, whether that is a quiet village setting, a busy town neighbourhood, or a family home tucked away in the Derbyshire countryside. There is no unfamiliar environment to adjust to, no packing of belongings, and no upheaval. Instead, our carers step gently into the routines and surroundings that already feel like home, respecting the character of each household and the wishes of the person living there. Our care is shaped around the individual, and we support a broad range of needs. For older people, we offer reassuring day to day help that promotes independence, dignity, and companionship. For those living with dementia, our carers take a patient, familiar approach, helping to maintain routines, reduce anxiety, and offer families the peace of mind that a trusted face is present. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autism, tailoring our approach so that communication, sensory needs, and personal preferences are always understood and respected. For people living with a physical disability, we provide practical, respectful support with mobility, personal care, and everyday tasks, always working at the pace that suits the individual. We also assist those with visual or hearing impairments, adapting how we communicate and moving through the home in ways that feel safe, predictable, and comfortable. In practice, this means families can trust that their loved one is not simply receiving a task list of duties, but genuine, thoughtful care from people who take the time to know them. From a short sitting visit that gives a family carer a well earned break, to more regular support with daily living, we aim to lift some of the weight from relatives whilst keeping the person at the heart of every decision. We are pleased to hold an overall rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, with Good awarded across every domain: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led. For families, this independent recognition offers reassurance that the care being delivered is safe, that outcomes for the people we support are positive, that our team treats people with kindness and respect, that we respond thoughtfully to changing needs, and that our leadership sets clear standards for the whole team to follow. Choosing home care can feel like a significant step, and we understand the questions and emotions that often come with it. If you are exploring support for yourself or someone you love in Chesterfield or the wider Derbyshire area, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We are here to listen, to answer your questions honestly, and to help you feel confident about the next steps, at whatever pace feels right for your family.

Operating from the Winchester area within the SO postcode region, our team is well placed to reach those living throughout the local community and surrounding villages. Being rooted in Hampshire means we understand the rhythm of local life, the importance of familiar surroundings, and the reassurance that comes from knowing help is close at hand. Home care is, at its heart, about preserving the routines, memories, and spaces that make a house feel like home, and our location allows us to respond warmly and reliably to the families we support. Our care is thoughtfully tailored to meet a broad range of needs. We specialise in older person care, providing gentle daily support that helps individuals maintain independence and dignity as they age. For those living with dementia, we offer patient, understanding care that focuses on continuity, calm reassurance, and meaningful engagement, easing worry for both the person receiving care and their loved ones. We also support adults living with mental health conditions, offering steady companionship and structured routines that promote wellbeing and stability. Alongside this, we provide care for people with physical disabilities, assisting with mobility, personal care, and everyday tasks in a way that respects autonomy and personal preference. Our support extends to younger adults too, recognising that care needs are not defined by age and that every individual deserves a plan shaped around their goals, lifestyle, and aspirations. In practice, this means families can expect a genuinely person centred approach, where care visits are built around what matters most to the person we are looking after, whether that is help with morning routines, medication support, companionship, or more complex ongoing needs. For families, choosing home care is often an emotional decision, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our aim is to give relatives peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is being treated with kindness, professionalism, and respect at every visit. We believe in open communication, listening carefully to families and adapting our approach as needs evolve over time. As a newer presence on the Care Quality Commission register, our Winchester operation is currently awaiting its first formal inspection rating. Whilst we do not yet have a published CQC rating, we remain fully committed to meeting and exceeding the standards expected of a regulated care provider. Families are welcome to speak with us directly about our approach, our staff training, and the safeguards we have in place to ensure safe, effective, and caring support. If you are exploring home care options in Winchester or the surrounding Hampshire area for yourself or someone you love, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch to arrange a conversation, ask questions, or simply learn more about how we might help. Choosing the right care is a significant step, and we are here to walk that journey with you, offering warmth, expertise, and genuine understanding every step of the way.

We at Naveed Medicare Hampshire are proud to offer compassionate home care across Winchester and the surrounding communities, supporting people to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the heart of Hampshire within the SO postcode area, our team is ideally positioned to reach individuals and families throughout Winchester and its neighbouring villages. As a home care agency, we bring our support directly to you, meaning there is no unfamiliar environment to adjust to and no disruption to the routines, memories, and personal touches that make a house a home. Whether you live in a quiet residential street, a rural cottage, or a town centre flat, our carers travel to you, working around your preferences and daily rhythms. Our care is shaped around the individual, and we are proud to support a broad range of needs. For older people, we provide the kind of thoughtful, patient assistance that helps maintain independence, whether that means help with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, or simply the reassurance of a friendly, familiar face. For those living with dementia, we take time to build trust, follow established routines, and create calm, predictable moments that reduce anxiety for both the person we support and their loved ones. We also welcome the opportunity to support younger adults, individuals with learning disabilities or autism, and those managing mental health conditions. Our approach is person centred, which in practice means we listen carefully, adapt to communication preferences, and support each person to pursue the goals, hobbies, and social connections that matter to them. For people with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments, we work closely with families to ensure the home environment and our care approach promote both safety and dignity, whilst preserving as much independence as possible. For families, this breadth of specialism offers real reassurance. It means that as needs change over time, whether gradually or suddenly, you have a team already familiar with your loved one who can adapt the care provided rather than requiring you to start again with someone new. It also means fewer conversations to repeat, fewer strangers at the door, and greater continuity for the person receiving care. As a newer registration with the Care Quality Commission, we are currently awaiting our first full inspection rating following our recent registration in October 2025. Whilst we do not yet have a published overall rating, we are fully regulated by the CQC and held to the same rigorous national standards that apply to every care provider in England. We welcome the scrutiny of inspection and see it as an important part of demonstrating the quality we are committed to delivering every day. In the meantime, we encourage families to speak with us directly, ask questions, and get a genuine sense of who we are and how we work. Choosing home care for someone you love is a deeply personal decision, and we understand that it often comes at an emotional and uncertain time. If you are exploring options in Winchester or the wider Hampshire area, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch to arrange a conversation, discuss your circumstances, and learn how we can help your family find the right support at the right time.

As a dedicated home care agency, we bring professional support directly into the place people love most: their own homes. Operating throughout Dorchester and wider Dorset, our team travels to residents across this beautiful part of the South West, delivering care in the familiar surroundings that hold a lifetime of memories. Whether you live in the heart of the county town or in one of the villages nearby, our carers come to you, working within the rhythm of your household and the community you know so well. Home care removes the upheaval of relocation, allowing individuals to remain close to neighbours, family, pets, and the routines that bring comfort and continuity. Our specialisms reflect the breadth of need within the communities we serve. We support older people who wish to maintain their independence at home, offering everything from companionship and help with daily routines through to more comprehensive personal care. For those living with dementia, we take a patient, person centred approach, focusing on preserving dignity, reducing anxiety, and building trusting relationships with familiar faces. Families often tell us how much peace of mind this brings, knowing a consistent carer understands their loved one's preferences, history, and the small details that make each day easier. We also provide mental health support, working sensitively alongside individuals to promote wellbeing, encourage healthy routines, and offer the reliable human contact that can make such a meaningful difference. For adults living with a physical disability, our carers assist with mobility, personal care, and the practical tasks of daily living, always with respect for each person's independence and choices. We support those with visual or hearing impairments through thoughtful communication and adapted approaches that ensure no one feels overlooked or unheard. Our care extends to younger adults too, recognising that the need for support is not defined by age. Whether someone is navigating a long term condition, recovering from illness, or requires ongoing assistance to live the life they choose, we tailor our approach to fit the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit the care. Kisumen Care Services Dorset is currently awaiting its first CQC inspection, meaning we have not yet been given an overall rating. We welcome the scrutiny of the Care Quality Commission and are committed to meeting the high standards families rightly expect. In the meantime, we invite prospective clients and their loved ones to speak with us directly, ask questions, and get a genuine sense of how we work. Trust is built through openness, and we are happy to discuss our approach, our team, and how we plan care with each household. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand the mixture of emotions that often accompanies it. Home Instead supports people in their own homes in Dorchester and the surrounding parts of Dorset. We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people whose sight or hearing has changed. The question we start with is not what somebody cannot do but what they want their day to look like and what is getting in the way of it. From there the support might be a call each morning to get things off to a good start, help with medication and meals, assistance with shopping and housework, a lift to an appointment, or simply somebody to talk to for a few hours a week. Companionship is a proper part of this work rather than a bonus. In a largely rural county, isolation is one of the real risks to somebody's health, and a regular visitor who notices when things are not right is worth a great deal. We plan our rounds so that the same carers go to the same homes, which is what makes that noticing possible. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We keep asking the people we visit whether what we do still fits, because needs change and a plan written six months ago may not be the right one now. Do get in touch if you would like to talk things over without any pressure.

We at Eleanor Nursing and Social Care welcome you to our Dorchester based home care agency, proudly supporting individuals across Dorset and the wider South West to live well within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Operating from our Dorchester office in the DT postcode area, we are ideally placed to reach those we support across the local community. Home care is deeply personal, and we believe that the surroundings a person knows best, filled with their memories, belongings, and routines, are often where they thrive most. Our role is to bring compassionate, tailored support directly to your loved one's doorstep, allowing them to remain rooted in the place they call home whilst receiving the assistance they need. Our team offers a genuinely broad range of specialisms, which means we are able to walk alongside people at many different stages and circumstances of life. We provide dedicated support for older people and those living with dementia, offering gentle, patient care that respects the individual behind the diagnosis. For adults with learning disabilities or autism, we focus on empowering independence and building trust through consistent, understanding support. We also assist people managing mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments, adapting our approach to suit each person's unique way of engaging with the world. Beyond this, our reach extends to younger adults, individuals recovering from or living with eating disorders, and those affected by alcohol or drug misuse. What this breadth means in practice is that families rarely need to look elsewhere as circumstances change. Whether the need is companionship, personal care, medication support, or more complex clinical assistance, we aim to be a steady presence, working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and the individuals themselves to shape care that feels right. Our overall rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission reflects the standards we hold ourselves to across the areas that matter most. We were rated Good for being safe, effective, caring, and responsive at our most recent inspection in February 2023. We are honest that our Well led domain was noted as Requires Improvement, and we take that feedback seriously, using it as a genuine opportunity to strengthen our leadership, oversight, and internal culture so that every person we support continues to receive care of a consistently high standard. Choosing home care for someone you love is a significant decision, and we understand that families often come to us with questions, worries, and hopes all mingled together. We are here to listen without rush and to talk you through how we might help. If you would like to learn more about how we could support your family member in Dorchester or the surrounding Dorset area, please do reach out. We provide thoughtful older person care for those who wish to remain independent in later life, offering assistance with everyday tasks such as personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and companionship. For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, our carers offer patient, person centred support that focuses on maintaining familiar routines, protecting dignity, and creating moments of reassurance throughout each day. We also assist adults living with physical disabilities, providing practical help that enables greater independence, whether that involves mobility support, help with daily living, or accompanying clients on outings and appointments. Our care extends to younger adults too, recognising that meaningful support at any age should promote autonomy, wellbeing, and personal goals. Every care plan is shaped around the individual in front of us, never a one size fits all approach. Families can take reassurance from our latest Care Quality Commission inspection, in which we were awarded an overall rating of Good. Importantly, we achieved a Good rating across every one of the five key domains assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This balanced result reflects the consistency of our approach, showing that our clients are not only well cared for on a personal level but also supported by a team that is safely managed, effectively trained, and responsive to changing needs. For families considering home care, a Good rating from the CQC offers genuine peace of mind that established standards of quality and safety are being met. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we know how carefully families weigh their options. If you are exploring support for a parent, partner, relative, or yourself here in Dorchester, we would be delighted to have a warm, unhurried conversation about what matters most to you. We at Zero Three Domiciliary Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Colchester and the surrounding Essex communities, supporting people to live well and independently in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the CO postcode area, our team travels throughout Colchester and nearby neighbourhoods to bring personalised support directly to the doorsteps of those who need it. Rather than asking people to adapt to an unfamiliar environment, we come to you, working within the comfort and familiarity of your own surroundings. This means residents remain close to the people, possessions, and routines that matter most, whilst receiving the tailored assistance they need to thrive each day. Our specialisms centre on supporting adults living with learning disabilities and autism, as well as younger adults who benefit from thoughtful, person centred care at home. In practice, this means we take the time to understand each individual: their communication preferences, their goals, their routines, and the things that bring them joy. Whether that involves help with daily living tasks, encouragement to build life skills, support to access the community, or simply reliable companionship, our approach is always shaped around the person, never the other way around. Families can feel confident that their loved one is being supported by a team that genuinely values dignity, independence, and choice. We understand that inviting a care provider into a family member's home is a significant decision. That is why we place such importance on building trusting, respectful relationships, not only with the people we support but with the wider family network too. Open communication, consistency of care, and a willingness to listen are the foundations of what we do. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our overall Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, following inspection in December 2021. We achieved a Good rating across every one of the five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this consistent standard offers reassurance that the care provided is safe, that outcomes are meaningful, that compassion sits at the heart of every interaction, that support adapts to changing needs, and that the organisation is guided by strong, thoughtful leadership. We at Ashwood Care Colchester are proud to offer trusted home care across the Colchester area, bringing compassionate support directly into the places people love most: their own homes. As a dedicated home care agency serving Colchester and the wider CO postcode area, we understand that remaining at home surrounded by familiar comforts, cherished memories, and treasured belongings can make all the difference to a person's wellbeing. Because our care is delivered where you live, the environment is entirely your own. Whether that is a family home in a quiet Colchester neighbourhood, a bungalow on the outskirts of town, or a flat closer to the centre, our role is to fit seamlessly into your surroundings and daily rhythm. Situated within the East of England and covering communities across Colchester and the surrounding parts of Suffolk, our team is well placed to reach those who need us, when they need us. We work around your home, your routines, and the little rituals that bring meaning to each day, from the morning cup of tea in a favourite chair to evening visits with family and friends. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide dedicated older person care for those who may need a gentle hand with everyday tasks, companionship, or more structured support as needs evolve over time. Our wider home care offering encompasses personal care, help with medication, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and the kind of practical, thoughtful support that helps daily life run smoothly. We also support younger adults, recognising that care needs are not defined by age and that every individual deserves a plan built around their own goals, independence, and lifestyle. In practice, this means families can expect care that is truly personalised. For an older parent, it might look like a familiar carer arriving each morning to help them start the day with confidence and dignity. For a younger adult, it may mean tailored support that promotes independence, community involvement, and personal ambitions. For relatives, it brings the reassurance of knowing a trusted team is present, communicative, and attentive to changes in wellbeing, easing the emotional weight that so often accompanies caring for a loved one from afar. As a newer presence within the local care landscape, Ashwood Care Colchester has not yet received a formal CQC rating. Whilst a rating is still to be awarded, we welcome the transparency and accountability that the Care Quality Commission framework brings, and we are committed to operating to the highest standards from day one. Families are encouraged to speak with us directly, ask questions, and get a genuine feel for the values, training, and ethos that guide our team every day. We believe trust is built through open conversation, consistent care, and the everyday moments that show a family they have made the right choice. Choosing care is rarely a simple decision, and we recognise the courage it takes to reach out. Whether you are exploring options for a parent who is finding daily tasks more difficult, planning ahead for a loved one with evolving needs, or seeking meaningful support for a younger adult in the family, we are here to listen without pressure and to guide you through every step. Please get in touch with us at Ashwood Care Colchester to arrange a friendly, no obligation conversation. Together, we can shape a care plan that brings comfort, confidence, and continuity to your loved one's life at home.

- Home Care
We at Allcare are proud to support people to live well in the comfort of their own homes across Colchester and the wider Essex area, providing compassionate home care that puts each individual at the heart of everything we do. As a home care agency based in the CO postcode area, we bring our support directly to where our clients feel most at ease: their own front doors. There is something quietly powerful about receiving care in familiar surroundings, amongst treasured photographs, favourite armchairs, and the daily routines that make a house a home. Our team travels across Colchester and the surrounding communities, ensuring that geography is never a barrier to receiving warm, dependable support. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we care for. We provide dedicated older person care for those who wish to remain independent as the years unfold, along with tailored dementia care that emphasises patience, familiarity, and gentle reassurance. Families navigating a dementia diagnosis often tell us how much peace of mind it brings to know a consistent, understanding presence is visiting their loved one. We also support adults living with physical disabilities and those with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our communication and approach so that every person feels genuinely seen and heard. Our support extends to younger adults too, recognising that care needs do not follow a single template and that every stage of life deserves thoughtful, respectful assistance. In practice, this means our care plans are shaped around the person, not the other way around. Whether it is help with morning routines, medication prompts, mobility support, companionship over a cup of tea, or specialist assistance with more complex needs, we aim to make each visit feel less like a task and more like a welcome moment in the day. Families are kept informed and involved, because we believe good care is a partnership between our team, the people we support, and those who love them. Our most recent CQC inspection in October 2022 awarded us an overall rating of Good, with Good ratings across the Safe, Effective, Caring, and Responsive domains. This reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering care that is kind, competent, and genuinely responsive to the people we support. The Well-led domain was rated as Requires Improvement, and we take this feedback seriously as a valuable prompt to keep strengthening our leadership and internal practices. Continuous improvement is part of how we grow, and we remain dedicated to raising standards year on year. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or a family member in Colchester, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Choosing care is a significant decision, and we are here to answer your questions, listen to your concerns, and help you understand what thoughtful, person centred support at home could look like for your loved one.

Based in the CO postcode area, our team works throughout Colchester and its neighbouring villages, bringing personalised support directly to residents' doorsteps. Familiar surroundings can be a powerful source of comfort and confidence, and we believe that thoughtful home care allows people to preserve the routines, memories, and independence that matter most to them. Our dementia care is delivered with patience and understanding, helping individuals to feel secure whilst supporting families through what can be an emotional journey. We also assist adults living with physical disabilities, offering practical help that promotes dignity and choice, and we are experienced in supporting people with visual or hearing impairments through clear communication and sensitive, adaptive care. Younger adults who require tailored support are equally welcomed, with care plans shaped around personal goals, interests, and aspirations rather than assumptions. In practice, this means families can expect a considered, unhurried approach. We take time to understand each person, their history, preferences, and the small details that make daily life feel meaningful. Loved ones are kept informed and involved, so that care feels like a shared partnership rather than something delivered from the outside. From short visits to more comprehensive daily support, we work flexibly around the needs of the individual and their household. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our CQC Overall Rating of Good, with Good ratings across every domain assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistency, recognised at our most recent inspection in June 2021, offers reassurance that our practice meets the standards families rightly expect, from safeguarding and clinical effectiveness through to the warmth of everyday interactions and the strength of our leadership. Choosing care for someone you love is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that responsibility. If you are exploring home care in Colchester for a parent, partner, relative, or yourself, we would be delighted to hear from you. - Home Care
Care Givers provides support in people's own homes in Colchester and around Essex. We visit older adults and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic people, people with mental health needs, and people living with a physical disability. The reason most people ask us to come is that something has changed. An illness, a fall, a diagnosis, or simply the gradual arithmetic of getting older. Our job at that point is to work out the smallest useful amount of help, put it in place properly, and then keep looking at whether it is still right. Visits might involve personal care, prompting or giving medication, cooking, laundry, shopping, or support to get out of the house. Quite often the most valuable element is time spent talking, which is not filler and is not an afterthought. Isolation does real damage, and a regular visitor who knows you makes a measurable difference. We work hard on continuity, because being cared for by a rota of strangers is nobody's idea of dignity. Where we have to send somebody new, we brief them first. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you would like to talk about what support at home might involve, please contact us and we will go through it with you honestly.

We also support younger adults, people with learning disabilities or autism, individuals managing mental health conditions, and those with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. In practice, this means our care plans are shaped around the whole person, not just a diagnosis, taking into account communication preferences, sensory needs, cultural background, and personal goals. For families, it offers real peace of mind knowing that one trusted team can walk alongside their loved one through different stages of life. Day to day, our support might include help with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, mobility, companionship, or accompanying someone to appointments and social activities in the local community. For those living with dementia, we focus on gentle reassurance, familiar routines, and meaningful engagement. For younger adults and people with learning disabilities, we champion independence, choice, and building confidence. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone's day a little brighter. As a newer registered provider, we are currently awaiting our first full inspection and therefore hold a status of Not Yet Rated with the Care Quality Commission. Whilst we do not yet have a published rating, we are fully regulated and inspected by the CQC and are wholeheartedly committed to meeting and exceeding the standards expected of us. We welcome open conversations with families about our approach, our team, and how we work, and we invite you to judge us on the warmth, professionalism, and reliability of the care we deliver. At Sams Medicare, we provide home care support to people living in Colchester and the surrounding areas of Essex. We work with older adults, younger adults and people with a range of needs, supporting them to live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own homes. We understand that inviting someone into your home to help with personal care or daily routines is a significant decision. We take that seriously. Our team works to build genuine relationships with the people we support, taking time to understand individual preferences, routines and what matters most to each person. Good care, in our view, is built on listening and on consistency. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and our most recent inspection resulted in a "requires improvement" rating. We want to be straightforward about that. We have taken the findings seriously and have been working through the areas identified, making practical changes to how we operate and how we monitor the quality of our care. We believe in being open with the people we support and their families, and that includes being honest about where we are on that journey. Our focus is on providing care that is responsive and respectful, whether that involves help with personal care, support around the home or simply having someone present for companionship and reassurance. We recognise that needs can change over time and we aim to adapt accordingly. If you are considering home care for yourself or someone close to you, we are happy to have an honest conversation about what we can offer and whether we are the right fit. We know that getting this right matters enormously to the people involved, and that is what drives how we approach our work each day.

Our team delivers personalised support tailored to each individual, with a genuine focus on dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Based in the CO postcode area, we serve families throughout Colchester and surrounding communities in the East of England. As a home care agency, our environment is not a building but the familiar surroundings of each person we visit. This means our care fits seamlessly into your loved one's daily routine, from morning check ins and personal care to companionship, meal preparation, medication support, and help with the small tasks that make a house feel like home. Being cared for in familiar surroundings, close to neighbours, memories, and cherished belongings, can bring enormous comfort, particularly for those living with cognitive or emotional challenges. Our specialisms reflect the breadth of people we support. We provide older person care with warmth and patience, understanding that ageing well means being listened to and respected. For adults living with a learning disability or autism, we focus on enabling independence, communication, and confidence, working at each person's pace and in ways that suit their preferences. We also support individuals with mental health needs, offering steady, non judgemental care that promotes stability and self esteem. For those with physical disabilities, our team assists with mobility, personal care, and daily living whilst always championing choice and autonomy. We welcome younger adults too, recognising that care needs span every stage of life and that support should always feel age appropriate and empowering. In practice, this means families can expect a thoughtful, consistent approach. We take time to understand each person's history, preferences, and goals before care begins, and we work closely with relatives, healthcare professionals, and community teams to ensure everything joins up. Whether the need is a short daily visit or more comprehensive support throughout the day, our aim is to bring reassurance to the whole family, knowing that a caring, capable presence is there when it matters. Our most recent CQC inspection rated us Good overall, with Good ratings across the Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led domains. Safe was noted as Requires Improvement, and we take that feedback seriously, using it as a foundation for continued learning and strengthening of our practice. A Good rating reflects the everyday reality of our work: kind, capable staff, well organised care planning, and a leadership approach committed to doing right by the people we support. We remain focused on building on this, listening to feedback from residents and families, and continually raising the standard of what we offer. Here at Bluebird Care Chichester, we provide home care to people living in Chichester and the surrounding areas of West Sussex. Our work centres on supporting people in the place they know best — their own home — and we believe that remaining at home, surrounded by familiar faces and routines, makes a genuine difference to how people feel day to day. We support a wide range of people, including older adults, those living with dementia, people managing a mental health condition, and those with a physical disability. No two people we care for are the same, so we take time at the outset to understand what matters to each individual and what their daily life actually looks like. Care plans are built around real preferences, not assumptions. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good, which reflects the effort our care team puts in consistently, not just when someone is watching. We are proud of that rating, though we are equally mindful that maintaining it means staying attentive and never becoming complacent. Dementia care is an area we give particular thought to. Caring for someone with dementia requires patience, consistency, and an understanding of how the condition affects not just the individual but their whole family. We try to support families as much as we support the person receiving care, keeping communication open and honest throughout. We know that inviting someone into your home, or into the home of someone you love, is not a small thing. It requires trust, and we do not take that lightly. If you are thinking about care for yourself or a family member and would like to have a straightforward conversation about what might be possible, we would be very glad to hear from you.

We are Initjames, a home care agency supporting people in Rochester and across Medway. We visit people at home, at agreed times, to help with whatever has become difficult to manage alone. Most of our work is with older people. Our carers help with washing and dressing, getting up and settling at night, medication, preparing meals, light housework and shopping, and with getting out to appointments or simply for a change of scene. We also support younger adults who need help to live independently, whether that is a hand with practical tasks or someone alongside them while they build confidence. We keep our visits properly timed rather than clipped short, because most of what goes wrong in home care goes wrong when carers are rushed. We also try to send the same people each week. Continuity means personal care is less of an ordeal, and it means our carers know when a person is not themselves and can raise it with the family or the general practitioner early. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Rather than lean on a rating we do not have, we would encourage you to ask us how we recruit, how we train and supervise our carers, what happens when a call is running late and who you can reach out of hours. We are happy to answer all of that, and to visit and talk without any commitment on your part.

We at Cathrolls' UK are proud to provide compassionate home care across Rochester and the wider Medway area, supporting older people and adults with a range of needs to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. As a home care agency based in the ME postcode area, our team travels to residents throughout Rochester and the surrounding communities, bringing warmth, reliability, and expertise directly to their doorsteps. We understand that home is more than just a building. It holds memories, routines, and the small comforts that make daily life meaningful. Our role is to preserve that sense of familiarity whilst offering the practical and emotional support each person needs to thrive. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we care for. We provide dedicated older person care, tailored home care packages, and specialist dementia support for those living with memory loss and cognitive change. We also assist adults with physical disabilities and those with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our approach so that every interaction is respectful, patient, and centred on the individual. In practice, this means our care workers take the time to truly know each person we support. For someone living with dementia, that might involve gentle reminders, calm reassurance, and consistent routines that reduce anxiety. For a person with a physical disability, it may mean thoughtful assistance with mobility, personal care, and everyday tasks that promote independence rather than diminish it. For those with sensory impairments, our team communicates clearly and considerately, ensuring no one feels overlooked or rushed. Families can take comfort in knowing that their loved one is being supported by people who listen carefully and respond with genuine kindness. We are pleased to share that following our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection in June 2025, we were rated Good overall, with a Good rating across every one of the five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent recognition reflects the values our team lives by every day. Being rated Good in Safe means families can trust that safeguarding and risk are managed thoughtfully. Good in Effective speaks to the training and skill of our care workers. Good in Caring recognises the warmth and dignity present in every visit. Good in Responsive shows that we adapt to changing needs, and Good in Well led reflects a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. Choosing care for someone you love is one of the most personal decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that choice. Whether you are exploring support for a parent who wishes to remain independent at home, seeking specialist help for a partner living with dementia, or looking for reliable assistance for yourself, we invite you to get in touch with us at Cathrolls' UK. Here at Austen Allen Homecare, we provide personal and compassionate care to people living in their own homes across Rochester and the wider Medway area. We believe that remaining at home, surrounded by familiar faces and cherished routines, makes a real difference to a person's wellbeing, and everything we do is shaped around that belief. We support a wide range of people, including older adults, individuals living with dementia, those with learning disabilities or autism, people experiencing mental health difficulties, and those managing physical disabilities. Every person we care for has their own story, their own preferences, and their own way of doing things, and we work hard to make sure our support reflects that. Our team takes time to get to know the people we visit, not just their care needs but who they are as individuals. That kind of relationship matters enormously, both to the people we support and to us. We understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and we do not take that lightly. We are pleased to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our team puts in day to day. It means a great deal to us, though we are always looking at how we can continue to improve and grow. Whether someone needs a brief daily visit or more regular ongoing support, we aim to provide care that feels natural, respectful, and genuinely helpful. We involve the people we support and their families in every decision, because good care is always a conversation rather than something that is simply done to someone. Here at Bithoms Care Office, we provide home care support to people living in Rochester and the wider Medway area. Our work takes place where it matters most — in people's own homes — and we believe that is exactly where most people want to be. We support a range of individuals, including those living with dementia, those managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, and younger adults who need a little extra help day to day. Each person we support has their own story, their own routines, and their own way of doing things. We take the time to understand that properly before we ever begin. Home care is not a one size fits all arrangement. Some people need help with personal care in the morning. Others need companionship, help getting to appointments, or support managing their household. Whatever that looks like for the person we are working with, we aim to deliver it in a way that respects their independence and keeps them in control of their own life. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and based here in Rochester, which means we know this community well. Being local matters to us. It means our staff are familiar faces rather than strangers, and it means we can respond quickly when circumstances change. We are honest about where we are as a provider. We are building our reputation through the quality of the care we actually deliver, and we think that is the right way to do it. If you are looking for home care support for yourself or someone close to you, we would welcome the chance to have a straightforward conversation about what you need. You can reach us directly, and we will always try to give you clear, practical information without any pressure.

We at Bee's Care Agency are proud to provide compassionate home care across Rochester and the wider Medway area, supporting people to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home. As a dedicated home care agency in the ME postcode area, we bring personalised support directly to those who need it most. Operating throughout Rochester and surrounding communities in the South East, our team travels to residents wherever home may be, whether that is a family house, a bungalow, or a flat. Because care is delivered in familiar surroundings, every visit is shaped around the rhythms, comforts, and preferences of the individual we support, allowing routines, treasured possessions, and local connections to remain firmly in place. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve. We provide dedicated older person care and general home care support with everyday tasks such as personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and companionship. For those living with dementia, our approach is patient, consistent, and reassuring, helping to reduce anxiety whilst promoting dignity and independence. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autism, offering care that respects individual communication styles, sensory preferences, and personal goals. Families looking for mental health support will find a team trained to offer sensitive, non judgemental care that promotes wellbeing and stability. We assist people with physical disabilities to maintain autonomy through practical, respectful help, and we are experienced in supporting individuals with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our communication and approach to ensure every person feels understood and included. Our support extends to younger adults who benefit from care that fits their lifestyle and aspirations, as well as to those living with eating disorders, where care is delivered with particular sensitivity, discretion, and understanding of the emotional complexities involved. In practice, this breadth of specialism means families do not need to piece together support from multiple providers. Whether a loved one requires a short daily visit, more comprehensive assistance throughout the week, or specialist input tailored to a complex condition, we work closely with them and their family to build a plan that genuinely reflects their wishes. Communication with relatives is a priority, so those who cannot be nearby can feel confident that their loved one is receiving the right care at the right time. Quality and safety are central to everything we do, and we are pleased that our commitment is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating. Following the latest inspection in March 2025, we were rated Good overall, with Good ratings across all five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this independent assessment offers meaningful reassurance that the care provided is safe, effective, delivered with genuine compassion, responsive to changing needs, and supported by capable leadership. It reflects the everyday effort of a team who take real pride in the difference they make. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand the mixture of emotions that often comes with it. Whether you are exploring options for a parent, a partner, an adult child, or yourself, we welcome the opportunity to have an open, unhurried conversation about what matters most. Please get in touch with Bee's Care Agency to learn more about how we can support your family in Rochester and across Medway with warmth, respect, and dependable care.

- Home Care
We at Choice Care 4 U are proud to be a trusted home care agency supporting individuals across Chichester and the wider West Sussex community. Our mission is simple: to help people live safely, comfortably and confidently in the place they love most, their own home. Operating throughout the Chichester area and surrounding PO postcode neighbourhoods, we bring personalised care directly to the doorsteps of those who need it. Because we deliver care in the familiar surroundings of each person's home, every visit is shaped around individual routines, preferences and the rhythms of daily life. Whether someone lives in a quiet village on the outskirts, a family home in a residential street, or a flat closer to the city centre, our team travels to meet them where they are, ensuring continuity, dignity and a genuine sense of independence. Our care is as varied as the people we support. For older people, we offer companionship, practical assistance and reassurance for family members who may live further afield. Our dementia care is delivered with patience, understanding and consistency, helping to reduce anxiety and maintain familiar daily routines. We also support adults living with learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments, tailoring our approach so that each person feels genuinely understood rather than simply assisted. Younger adults benefit from care that respects their goals, lifestyles and aspirations, whilst those recovering from or managing alcohol or drug related challenges receive compassionate, non judgemental support focused on stability and wellbeing. In practice, this means our care workers do far more than complete tasks. They build trusting relationships, notice small changes in wellbeing, encourage hobbies and interests, and keep families informed and involved. From help with personal care, medication support and meal preparation to accompanying someone to a medical appointment or simply sharing a cup of tea and conversation, every visit is planned with purpose and delivered with warmth. Families can also take reassurance from our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection in April 2025, where we were rated Good overall. This positive rating was reflected across all five key areas assessed by the CQC: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well led. For families, this independent recognition offers confidence that the care their loved one receives is safe, that outcomes are effective, that staff are genuinely caring, that support responds to changing needs, and that the agency itself is thoughtfully managed. Choosing home care is often an emotional and important decision, and we understand the weight it carries. If you are exploring support for yourself or a loved one in Chichester or the surrounding West Sussex area, we would be delighted to have a friendly, no pressure conversation about how we can help. Whatever the level of support required, our door is always open, and our team is ready to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Arranging and funding home care in Chester
Starting with a care needs assessment
Almost every arrangement begins with a care needs assessment. This is a free conversation, usually held at home, in which a social care practitioner looks at washing, dressing, medication, meals, mobility and how safely someone manages overnight. Anyone who appears to need support has a right to one, regardless of income or savings. You can request an assessment yourself or on behalf of a relative, and it is worth doing early, because the written outcome becomes the reference point for everything that follows.
Who pays and how funding is decided
Once needs are agreed, a separate financial assessment looks at income and capital to work out what, if anything, the council will contribute. Cheshire West and Chester Council is the authority responsible for both the needs assessment and any funded support in this area, and it can arrange care directly or offer a direct payment so that a family chooses its own agency. Where the capital threshold is exceeded the arrangement is self funded, although the council will still carry out the assessment and give advice.
Understanding the cost of visits
Home care is normally charged by the hour or by the visit, so the weekly figure depends entirely on how often carers come and for how long. Short calls a few times a day cost less than continuous cover, but the hourly rate tends to be higher for very brief visits and for nights, weekends and bank holidays. Ask any agency for a written schedule of charges that covers travel, cancellations and rising need, and confirm whether the quoted rate changes once a package grows. Anyone paying for their own care should also ask whether the agency reviews its rates annually and how much notice it gives of an increase.
Choosing between home care agencies in Chester
Reading the CQC rating properly
The 531 agencies listed here carry the whole spread of inspection outcomes, from Outstanding through Good and Requires Improvement to Inadequate, with a large group not yet rated. A rating is a summary, not a verdict on the carers who will actually visit, so open the report itself. The findings on safe care and on whether the service is well led matter most for home visits, and a newly registered agency with no rating is not automatically a poor choice. Check the date of the inspection too, since an older report may describe a service that has changed hands or changed manager since the inspectors called.
Questions worth asking before you sign
Reliability is what families notice first, so ask how many different carers will attend in a typical fortnight, what happens when the regular carer is unwell, and how late a call has to be before the office tells you. Check that the care plan is written with the person receiving support rather than about them, and ask how it is reviewed. Notice periods, out of hours contact and the process for raising a concern are all worth confirming in writing before anything starts. If you can, speak to someone already using the agency, because a candid account of whether carers arrive when they say they will is the most useful evidence you will gather.
Frequently asked questions about home care in Chester
How many home care agencies are there in Chester?
Chester has 531 CQC registered home care agencies: 13 Outstanding, 252 Good, 23 Requires improvement, 3 Inadequate, 240 not yet rated. Counts come from the CQC register and are kept up to date as ratings change.
How much does home care cost in Chester?
Hourly care visits, North West: £25.00 to £28.90 an hour. Middle half of prices from 9 agencies. Median £26.58. Shown for North West because too few Manchester agencies publish a rate. Published prices come from agencies that publish rates, so treat them as a guide. Ask the agency for its own price.
Which home care agencies in Chester were inspected most recently?
Faiths Care (29 September 2026), Home Instead Chichester & Bognor Regis (23 September 2026) and Carerecruit Solutions Limited (8 September 2026) have the most recent CQC reports.
Can Cheshire West and Chester Council pay for home care in Chester?
It can, depending on the outcome of a needs assessment and a financial assessment. The council looks first at whether the level of need meets the national eligibility threshold, then at income and capital to decide what you contribute. Support may arrive as commissioned care or as a direct payment that lets you choose your own agency. Where savings sit above the threshold the care is self funded, but the council still owes you the assessment and practical advice.
How do I arrange a care needs assessment in Chester?
Contact the adult social care team at Cheshire West and Chester Council and ask for a care needs assessment. A GP, district nurse or hospital discharge team can also make the referral if that is easier. The assessment is free and is not means tested, so there is no reason to delay it while you work out finances. Keep a short note of the difficulties you have noticed, because concrete examples are far more useful to the assessor than general worry.
How far ahead should I start looking for home care?
Start sooner than feels necessary, ideally while the person still has the energy to take part in the decision. Assessments, financial checks and the agency assessment visit each take time, and good providers in a given postcode sometimes have no capacity for the exact call times you want. A few weeks of lead time turns an urgent scramble into an ordinary choice. Hospital discharge moves much faster, so if that is the situation, say so when you ring the council.
Which providers in Chester offer home care?
531 providers match this search, all of them agencies registered with the Care Quality Commission to deliver personal care in people's own homes. They run from national names to small local offices, and each one has a profile here setting out its rating and registration details. Coverage is by postcode rather than by town boundary, so confirm that an agency actually visits the street in question. Use the listing to build a shortlist, then check the inspection report for each.
What should I ask when a home care agency visits to assess?
Ask who will carry out the visits, how continuity is protected and what the agency does when a carer calls in sick. Find out how medication is recorded, how the office is contacted outside working hours and how quickly a care plan can change if someone comes out of hospital needing more help. Request a copy of the charges in writing, including travel and cancellation terms. Finally, ask how complaints are handled and how often the package will be reviewed.
What is the difference between a care home and a nursing home?
A care home provides accommodation with help for daily living such as washing, dressing, meals and company, delivered by care staff. A nursing home offers all of that plus a registered nurse on duty around the clock for conditions that need clinical oversight, such as complex wounds, tube feeding or unstable long term illness. The registration held with the Care Quality Commission shows which category a setting falls into. Home care differs from both, because support comes to the person rather than the person moving.
