About Us

3HA Care North Essex provides support at home for people across Colchester and the north of Essex. Our work is to make staying at home practical, with help arriving at the moments it is genuinely needed.

We visit older people who need a hand with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the household jobs that quietly become obstacles. We support people living with dementia, where familiar rooms and a familiar face do so much of the work on their own. We also work with people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, and people who have sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and how we help to suit the person in front of us.

Every arrangement begins with a conversation about how somebody likes their day to run and what they would rather do for themselves. We review support as needs change, keep families informed where that is wanted, and plan for continuity so that people are not constantly explaining their own routine to somebody new.

We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather say so plainly.
