The point at which a family begins ringing round the home care agencies in Norfolk is rarely a calm one, and it usually follows a fall, a hospital stay, or a run of small worries that have quietly added up. Norfolk County Council is worth contacting early, because it is the body responsible for carrying out a care needs assessment and for arranging funded support where a person meets the eligibility rules, whoever expects to pay in the end. One hundred and seventy nine agencies match this search, and the Care Quality Commission has rated them Outstanding, Good and Requires Improvement, with a sizeable group not yet holding a published rating. Coverage counts for as much as quality here, since an agency has to be able to reach the address at the hours the visits are needed. Open the profiles that serve your part of the county, read the inspection report attached to each rating, and let what inspectors recorded guide which agencies are worth a first conversation.

- Home Care
Here at Fortress Care, we provide home care support to people living in Kings Lynn and the surrounding areas of Norfolk. Our aim is straightforward: to help people live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own homes, on their own terms. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, and eating disorders. We understand that every person who comes to us has a different story, different needs, and different expectations of care, and we take time to understand what genuinely matters to each individual before we put anything in place. We know that our most recent CQC inspection rated us as requiring improvement, and we want to be open about that. We have taken that feedback seriously and have been working hard to make the changes needed across our practice. That process is ongoing, and we believe in being honest with the people who trust us with their care and with their families. What we can say is that the people working within Fortress Care genuinely care about the individuals they support. The relationships built between our care workers and the people they visit are at the heart of what we do. We try to recruit people who are thoughtful, reliable, and kind, and we support them to develop so that the standard of care we provide continues to improve. If you are looking for home care support for yourself or someone close to you in the Kings Lynn area, we would welcome the chance to have an honest conversation about how we might be able to help. We are here to listen first, and to work with you to find an approach that truly fits.

- Home Care
We at RCMIK Health Care are proud to offer compassionate home care across Norwich, supporting older people and adults with physical disabilities to live well within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Based in the NR postcode area of Norfolk, we bring personalised care directly to those who need it most, right where they feel safest. Serving families throughout Norwich and the surrounding communities in the East of England, our home care agency is built around a simple belief: home is where people thrive. Rather than asking those we support to adapt to a new environment, we come to you, working within the rhythms, routines, and comforts that make a house a home. From the leafy suburbs to the historic heart of the city, our team is committed to being a trusted presence for local families across Norfolk. Our specialisms centre on older person care, general home care, and support for adults living with physical disabilities. In practice, this means we take the time to understand each person as an individual, not simply a set of needs on a care plan. For an older resident, that might mean gentle companionship alongside help with personal care, medication reminders, or preparing a favourite meal. For someone living with a physical disability, it might mean thoughtful mobility support, assistance with daily tasks, and a genuine partnership that respects independence and dignity at every step. Whether the need is a few hours of support each week or more comprehensive daily visits, we shape our care around the person, never the other way around. We understand that inviting a care provider into a loved one's home is a decision made with the heart as well as the head. Families want to know their mother, father, husband, or wife is being treated with warmth, patience, and respect. That is why we place such value on building consistent, trusting relationships between our carers and those we support. Familiar faces, reliable visits, and open communication with family members are the foundations of the care we provide. As a newer presence on the Care Quality Commission register, RCMIK Health Care has not yet received a formal CQC rating. Whilst this simply reflects where we are in our journey, we remain fully committed to the standards of safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness, and leadership that the CQC upholds. We welcome the scrutiny that comes with regulation and see it as an important part of demonstrating our dedication to the people and families who place their trust in us. Every visit, every conversation, and every care plan is approached with the same professionalism and heart that we hope will be recognised in future inspections. If you are exploring home care options for a loved one in Norwich or the wider Norfolk area, we would be genuinely glad to hear from you. Choosing care is rarely straightforward, and there is no pressure in simply reaching out for a conversation. Whether you have questions about what home care involves, want to talk through a specific situation, or would like to arrange an initial visit to discuss needs in more detail, our door is always open. At RCMIK Health Care, we are here to walk alongside you, with kindness, expertise, and the reassurance that your loved one is in caring hands.

Here at Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, we provide home care across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas of Norfolk, supporting people to live well in the place they know best — their own home. We work with a wide range of people, including older adults, those living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, individuals with visual or hearing impairments, and younger adults who need a helping hand day to day. Every person we support has their own story, their own routines and their own way of doing things, and we take the time to understand all of that before we ever begin. Home care means something different to everyone. For some people it is a regular visit to help with personal care or medication. For others it might be companionship, support with meals, or simply having someone reliable to call on. Whatever that looks like for you or your loved one, we build care around the individual rather than fitting people into a set routine. We know that inviting someone into your home requires a great deal of trust, and we do not take that lightly. Our carers are carefully selected, thoroughly trained and genuinely committed to treating every person they visit with respect and dignity. We stay consistent wherever possible, so that the people we support get to know their carer rather than facing a different face at every visit. If you are thinking about care for yourself or someone close to you, we would always encourage you to get in touch for a conversation first. There is no pressure and no obligation. We are happy to talk things through, answer questions and help you work out what kind of support might make the most difference. We are proud to be part of this community and we would love to hear from you.

We provide care at home in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding part of Norfolk, supporting people who want to go on living in their own houses. We start with a conversation about how somebody lives and what has become hard, because care at home only works when it fits the person rather than the other way round. We support older people, including those living with dementia, and we work hard at continuity. The same carers, at times that suit the person, in a house they already know, do more for a settled day than anything else we could arrange. We also support younger adults who need help at home, people with a physical disability, assisting with moving about safely, with personal care and with the jobs that have become awkward, and people with a visual or hearing impairment, where adapting how we communicate matters as much as anything practical. Visits range from a short morning call through to substantial support across the day, covering personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and company. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We take that as encouragement rather than a conclusion, and we keep asking the people we visit and their families what could be better. If you are thinking about care at home in this area, please get in touch.

- Home Care
Gentle Folk Community Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Norwich and across Norfolk. We work with older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Most people who come to us want to stay where they are. In their own house, with their own things around them and their own way of doing the day, helped just enough to make that safe. Our job is to provide that help without taking over somebody's household. We start with a visit and a proper conversation about what has actually become difficult, which is often not what families assume. Sometimes it is washing and dressing, sometimes medication or meals, sometimes getting out to an appointment, and quite often it is simply that the house has become very quiet. The plan follows from that conversation and is revised as needs change. We keep the team around each person small, because being helped by somebody who already knows you is most of what makes home care work. For people living with dementia and for anyone who cannot see well, a familiar voice at the door counts for a great deal. Norfolk is a large rural county and rotas that look neat on paper often leave people waiting, so we build ours around real distances. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please call us if you would like to talk things over.

We at Ever Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across King's Lynn and the surrounding Norfolk communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. As a home care agency based in the PE postcode area, we bring our care directly to you. There is no need to leave familiar surroundings, cherished routines, or beloved neighbours behind. Whether you live in a village on the outskirts of King's Lynn or in the heart of the town itself, our team travels to you, adapting our support to fit the rhythm of your household and the layout of your home. Our care covers a broad range of needs, reflecting the diverse lives of the people we support. For older people, we offer gentle, dignified assistance with daily living, from help getting up in the morning to companionship over a cup of tea. Our dementia care is thoughtful and person centred, focusing on preserving identity, reducing anxiety, and creating moments of calm and connection for both the person living with dementia and their loved ones. We also provide dedicated support for adults with learning disabilities or autism, championing independence, choice, and community involvement. For people living with physical disabilities, our team offers practical, respectful assistance that promotes autonomy without compromising safety. Younger adults navigating complex needs will find in us a team that listens carefully and shapes support around their goals, whether that involves education, employment, hobbies, or family life. For families, this breadth of expertise brings real reassurance. It means that as needs change over time, whether gradually with age or more suddenly following illness or a change in circumstances, the same familiar team can continue to walk alongside you. Our latest CQC inspection, carried out in September 2022, rated us Good overall, with a Good rating across every domain assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent picture reflects the standards we hold ourselves to every single day. Being rated Good means our care is safe and reliable, our approach is effective, our team is genuinely caring, we respond well to individual needs, and our leadership sets a clear tone of quality and accountability throughout the organisation. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand that families often begin this journey feeling uncertain or overwhelmed. Please know that you are not alone. If you are exploring care options for yourself or a loved one in King's Lynn or the wider Norfolk area, we would be delighted to hear from you. A warm conversation with our team is often the best first step, giving you the space to ask questions, share your situation, and discover how we can help. Dimensions provides support to people in their own homes across Norfolk, working from Norwich and covering the surrounding area. We support adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, younger adults and older people. Our purpose is to help people have the life they choose in their own home, with the right support behind them. That means starting with what somebody wants to be able to do rather than with a list of things they find difficult, and building the support around that. In practice it can mean help with personal care and daily living, cooking, shopping, laundry and looking after the home, managing money and paperwork, or support to get out to work, college, appointments and the things a person enjoys. For many people, a good part of the value is having somebody steady alongside them while skills and confidence grow. Support is agreed with the person and with those who know them best, written in plain language, and reviewed honestly. Where somebody becomes more independent we step back, because support that is no longer needed only gets in the way. Our staff are trained for the needs they support and kept consistent wherever possible. If you or somebody you support would like to discuss support at home in Norfolk, please contact us.

We at Carewatch Norfolk are proud to provide compassionate home care across Dereham and the surrounding Norfolk communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. Based in the heart of Dereham within the NR postcode area, our team reaches out to households throughout the local area and wider Norfolk region. Rather than asking people to adjust to a new environment, we bring thoughtful, personalised support directly to the familiar surroundings of each person we care for, whether that is a cottage in a quiet village or a flat in the bustle of town. Home, with all its memories and comforts, remains the centre of everything we do. The care we offer is broad and tailored, designed to meet a wide range of needs under one trusted roof. Our team supports adults living with dementia, helping families navigate the daily challenges of memory loss with patience, gentle routine, and a calm, reassuring presence. We also provide care for people experiencing mental health difficulties, those living with physical disabilities, and individuals with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our communication and approach so that every person feels understood and respected. In addition, we offer specialist support for people affected by eating disorders and by alcohol or drug misuse, working sensitively alongside families and healthcare professionals to encourage stability, dignity, and recovery. In practice, this means a carer who arrives on time, knows the person they are visiting, and understands what matters most to them, whether that is preparing a favourite meal, supporting medication, assisting with personal care, or simply offering a friendly conversation over a cup of tea. For families, it means peace of mind: knowing that a loved one is not alone, and that someone trustworthy is checking in, noticing small changes, and keeping them informed. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection, where we were rated Good overall. We achieved a Good rating across every domain assessed, including Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families considering care at home, these ratings offer independent reassurance that the support we provide is safe, that our team is well trained and effective, that our carers treat people with genuine kindness, that we respond thoughtfully to changing needs, and that our service is led with integrity and clear values. If you are exploring home care options for yourself or someone you love in Dereham or the wider Norfolk area, we would be glad to hear from you. Choosing care is a deeply personal decision, and we are here to listen, answer your questions, and help you understand what good support at home can look like. Estuary House Ness M Care supports people in their own homes in King's Lynn and across Norfolk. We support older people, including many living with dementia, and we support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, and people with physical disabilities. We also work with younger adults who need care but would rather it did not take over their lives. Norfolk is a large and rural county, and we are used to supporting people who live some distance from the nearest town and who value their independence a great deal. Our visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals, and help keeping a house running, as well as the sort of company that stops a long day feeling longer. We try to keep the same care workers going to the same people, because knowing someone well is what allows you to spot a change early. - Home Care
We at INA Healthcare are proud to offer home care across Great Yarmouth, bringing compassionate, personalised support directly to people in the comfort of their own homes throughout Norfolk and the wider NR postcode area. As a home care provider rather than a residential setting, our environment is a truly special one: your own front door, your own armchair, your own routines. We come to you in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding communities, working within the familiar surroundings that mean so much to the people we support. For many families, knowing that a loved one can remain in the home they cherish, surrounded by their memories, photographs, and neighbours they have known for years, brings enormous peace of mind. Our role is to enhance that home life, never to disrupt it. Our care is thoughtfully tailored to meet the needs of older people, younger adults, and anyone requiring reliable home care support. For older residents, this might mean gentle assistance with morning routines, help preparing meals, medication reminders, or companionship during quieter parts of the day. For younger adults, our support is shaped around promoting independence, enabling people to live the life they choose, whether that involves help with daily tasks, accessing the community, or maintaining hobbies and interests that matter to them. Every care plan we build begins with a conversation, because we believe the person receiving care should always be at the heart of the decisions made about it. For families, this approach means flexibility and reassurance in equal measure. You can rest easier knowing that a familiar, trusted carer is checking in on your mother, father, husband, wife, son, or daughter. You can share the caring role rather than shouldering it alone, and you can be confident that professional eyes are watching for the small changes that matter, whether that is a shift in appetite, mood, or mobility. We keep families informed and involved, because good home care is always a partnership. As a newer presence on the Care Quality Commission register, INA Healthcare has not yet received an overall CQC rating. This simply means we are at the beginning of our regulated journey and have not yet been through a full inspection cycle. We welcome the scrutiny that comes with regulation and are committed to meeting and exceeding the fundamental standards of care, safety, and dignity that every person deserves. Families considering our support are warmly encouraged to speak with us directly, ask questions, and get to know how we work before making any decisions. Choosing care for someone you love is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the weight of that choice. If you are exploring home care options in Great Yarmouth or the surrounding Norfolk area, we would be delighted to hear from you. Get in touch with our team for a friendly, no obligation conversation about how we might help your family find the right balance of independence, safety, and support at home.

We at Bee Home Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Norwich and the wider Norfolk area, supporting people to live safely, comfortably, and independently in the place they know and love most: their own home. Based in the NR postcode area, we deliver care throughout local Norwich neighbourhoods and surrounding communities. Rather than asking people to adjust to a new environment, we bring warm, personalised support directly to familiar surroundings, whether that is a long standing family home, a bungalow, or a flat within a supported setting. This continuity of place can make an enormous difference to wellbeing, especially for those living with memory difficulties or sensory changes. Our team supports a wide range of individuals, and we take pride in the breadth of our expertise. We provide dedicated older person care and specialist dementia care, offering gentle routines, meaningful conversation, and the kind of patient, attentive presence that helps residents feel calm, respected, and understood. For adults living with a learning disability or autism, we focus on consistency, clear communication, and person centred routines that build trust and confidence over time. We also support people with mental health needs, offering encouragement, structure, and a reassuring point of contact through more difficult days. For those living with a physical disability, or with visual or hearing impairment, our carers adapt their approach thoughtfully, ensuring that mobility support, personal care, and everyday tasks are delivered with dignity and skill. We are equally experienced in supporting younger adults, recognising that care at any age should promote independence, choice, and personal goals, whether that involves community access, life skills, or simply having reliable companionship at home. In practice, this means families can expect a considered care plan, carers who take time to truly get to know the person they support, and communication that keeps loved ones informed and involved. From help with washing, dressing, and medication, through to preparing meals, supporting social interests, or offering respite for family carers, our aim is always the same: to make daily life easier, safer, and more enjoyable. We are pleased that our commitment to quality is reflected in our latest Care Quality Commission inspection, dated 19 August 2024, in which we received an overall rating of Good. We were rated Good across every domain, including Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this independent assessment offers welcome reassurance that the support we provide is thoughtful, professionally delivered, and well managed, with the wellbeing of the people we care for at the heart of everything we do. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand that reaching out for support can feel like a significant step. If you are exploring care options for yourself or a loved one in Norwich or the surrounding Norfolk area, we would be delighted to have a friendly, no pressure conversation about how we may be able to help. Floating Support City provides support to people in their own homes across Norwich and the surrounding parts of Norfolk. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, those managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability, and younger adults. Our approach is to support people to run their own lives rather than to run their lives for them. We ask what somebody wants their week to look like, what they manage well themselves and where help would make a real difference, then we build support around those answers. That might be assistance with personal care, medication, meals and household tasks, or help with budgeting, appointments, paperwork and getting out into the community. Support is planned with each person and written in plain language, and we revisit it as circumstances change rather than leaving it filed away. We adapt how we communicate to suit the individual and take time to learn what helps someone feel settled and what causes them stress. We keep teams small so that people are not forever explaining themselves to somebody new, and we work alongside community teams and health professionals so that support is consistent. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk about support.

Bluebell Support provides care and support to people in their own homes in Castle Rising and the surrounding parts of Norfolk. We work with older people, including many living with dementia, and with adults of any age who have a learning disability or autism, a mental health condition or a physical disability. We also support younger adults who want help to live more independently. This is a rural county and reaching people reliably takes proper planning, so we are careful about what we promise. We agree timings and we keep to them, because a visit that arrives when it said it would is worth a great deal more than an apology afterwards. Support starts with a conversation rather than a package. We ask what is genuinely difficult, what somebody still manages perfectly well and how they would like a visit to go. From there we agree the tasks, which might include help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals and drinks, moving safely around the home, laundry, shopping and getting to appointments. For some people the most valuable part is simply that a familiar person comes, notices how they are and has time to talk. We aim to send the same small team to the same household, because trust takes a long while to build and no time at all to lose. Plans are reviewed honestly when circumstances change instead of being left to run on. We keep in contact with families, GPs, district nurses and social workers. We at Long Stratton Supported Living are proud to provide compassionate home care across Norwich and the surrounding Norfolk communities, supporting individuals to live well and independently within the place they know and love best: their own home. Based in the NR postcode area, our team works throughout local neighbourhoods and villages, bringing thoughtful, personalised support directly to people's doorsteps. Rather than asking individuals to adjust to an unfamiliar environment, we come to them, fitting carefully around the rhythms, routines, and surroundings that make each person's home uniquely theirs. From morning visits that help start the day with confidence to evening check ins that bring peace of mind, our care is shaped around the people we serve and the families who love them. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the community we support. We provide care for older people, including those living with dementia, where consistency, patience, and gentle familiarity matter so deeply. For adults with learning disabilities or autism, we focus on enabling independence, choice, and meaningful daily living. We also support individuals managing mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments, as well as younger adults navigating their own journeys towards greater autonomy. In practice, this means tailored support plans, careful matching between care workers and the people they visit, and an unwavering commitment to dignity in every interaction. Families can feel reassured knowing that whether the need is help with personal care, medication support, companionship, or assistance with daily tasks, the approach is always centred on the individual rather than a one size fits all routine. We are pleased to hold an overall "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, with "Good" ratings across all five inspection domains: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led. For families weighing up the right care for a loved one, this independent assessment offers genuine reassurance that the support provided meets recognised national standards across every aspect of our work, from safeguarding and clinical effectiveness to leadership and the warmth shown by our team. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand the worry and care that goes into every enquiry. If you are exploring support for yourself or someone dear to you in Norwich or the wider Norfolk area, we would be delighted to talk things through at your pace. Reach out whenever you are ready, and together we can plan the right kind of care for the life you want to keep living.

- Home Care
Woodspring Care at Home provides care and support to people in their own homes in Fakenham and across the surrounding part of Norfolk. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people with a physical disability. The people who contact us are usually at the point where things have begun to slip, whether that is meals being missed, medication getting muddled or washing and dressing becoming the hardest part of the day. Our job is to put that right with as little disruption as possible so that somebody can carry on living in their own home. Our visits can cover personal care, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, and practical tasks such as shopping, laundry and keeping the house in order. For people living with dementia, we send the same carers wherever we can and take time to learn a person's history and routines, because familiarity is the most effective thing available to us. Covering a rural area means planning rounds with travel in mind, and we do that rather than leaving carers chasing the clock. We keep families informed and work with GPs, community nurses and social workers. If you are thinking about care at home in Norfolk, please ring us.

We at Fuchsia Homecare Norwich are proud to provide compassionate home care across Norwich and the surrounding Norfolk communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. Our dedicated team delivers personalised support tailored to each individual, whether that involves companionship, help with daily routines, or more specialised care needs. Based in the NR postcode area, we serve families throughout Norwich and nearby villages, bringing care directly to residents wherever they call home. This means the familiar surroundings, treasured possessions, and daily rhythms that bring comfort remain a constant, whilst professional support is woven gently into the day. For many families, this continuity is invaluable, allowing loved ones to maintain independence and dignity within the community they cherish. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide dedicated older person care, helping seniors maintain their independence with sensitive assistance around personal care, mobility, medication, and household tasks. Our dementia care is delivered with patience, understanding, and consistency, recognising that familiar faces and gentle routines can make a profound difference to someone living with memory challenges. We also support adults with physical disabilities, offering practical help that empowers people to live life on their own terms, and we care for individuals with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our communication and approach to ensure everyone feels heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their care. Younger adults with care needs are equally welcomed, and we work closely with each person to build a support plan that reflects their goals, lifestyle, and aspirations rather than simply their diagnosis. In practice, this means families can expect carers who take time to understand the whole person, their history, their preferences, their worries, and their hopes. Whether it is a morning visit to help someone start the day comfortably, a longer session offering companionship and support with meals, or ongoing care that gives family members reassurance and respite, we shape our involvement around what genuinely helps. We know that inviting care into the home is a significant step, and we approach every visit with warmth, discretion, and genuine respect for the household we are welcomed into. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection, completed on 31 January 2023, where we were rated Good overall. This rating was awarded across every domain the CQC assesses: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led. For families weighing up their options, this consistent recognition offers meaningful reassurance. It means independent inspectors found that people receive care that keeps them safe, that our approach achieves good outcomes, that our team treats people with kindness and compassion, that support responds to individual needs, and that the organisation is thoughtfully led. Whilst ratings alone can never capture the full picture of what care feels like day to day, they provide an objective foundation on which trust can be built. We understand that searching for the right home care provider can feel overwhelming, particularly when you are worried about a parent, partner, or relative. There are so many questions, and no family should have to navigate them alone. We warmly invite you to get in touch to talk through your situation, whether you are exploring options for the future or need support to begin soon. A conversation costs nothing, and it may bring the clarity and reassurance you have been looking for. At Fuchsia Homecare Norwich, we are here to listen, to guide, and to care.

We provide care and support in people's own homes across Norwich and the surrounding parts of Norfolk. We work with a wide range of adults, and the purpose is always the same: enough support, arranged the way the person wants it, for life at home to keep working. For older people we help with personal care, medication, meals, housework, shopping and getting out and about, and we raise changes in appetite, mood or steadiness early rather than waiting to be asked. For people living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting, follow the routine that already exists and leave the home as the person knows it. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, where the emphasis is on independence: cooking, budgeting, travelling locally, keeping appointments, and staff who understand how a person communicates. For adults with mental health needs we offer reliability and respectful company rather than a long list of tasks. We help people with a physical disability to move safely and manage at home, and where somebody has sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate. Younger adults are supported around their own lives. Support is planned with the person and reviewed as needs change. Our staff are trained for the people they actually visit. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss support at home here.

We are Buxton Healthcare, based in Norwich, and we provide care in people's own homes across Norfolk. We support older people, including many living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. Norfolk is a large county with a lot of small villages in it, and for some of the people we visit our carer is the main person they will see that day. We mention that because it shapes how we work. The practical tasks matter, but so does the fact that somebody comes, notices how you are and stays long enough for a proper conversation. Support is agreed with the person before it begins. We ask how the day runs now, what has become difficult, what they still want to manage themselves, and where a hand would genuinely help. That might mean help with washing and dressing, a prompt and a check with medication, a meal cooked and shared, help getting safely about the house, or assistance with shopping and appointments. For people living with dementia, familiarity does more good than anything else we could provide, so we work hard to send the same carers to the same households. A carer who knows somebody well is also the first to notice when something has shifted. We have not yet had an overall rating published by the Care Quality Commission. We prefer to say that plainly, and we are happy to answer any question about how we recruit and train our staff. Do ring us.

Pilea Homecare supports people in their own homes around Dereham and across Norfolk. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a physical disability, and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Home care in a county like Norfolk means travelling, and it means being reliable about it. People plan their day around the time we said we would arrive, so we take our scheduling seriously and we ring ahead when something is running late. Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments or into town. Some people want half an hour each morning. Others need several calls a day. The right amount often changes over time, and we would rather revisit it than leave somebody with an arrangement that has stopped fitting. We keep teams small and consistent, because a familiar carer notices when today is not a normal day, and that early noticing is frequently what keeps somebody safely at home rather than in hospital. The Care Quality Commission has not yet published an overall rating for us. We are happy to answer questions about recruitment, training, supervision and how we handle concerns. Here at Elite Care, we provide home care support to people living in Cromer and across the wider Norfolk area. Our team works with a broad range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and individuals living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We genuinely believe that people should be able to live well in their own homes, with support that fits around their life rather than the other way around. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent effort our team puts into the care we deliver day to day. That rating matters to us not as a badge, but as reassurance to the people we support and their families that we take our responsibilities seriously. What we try to get right, above everything else, is continuity. We know how important it is for someone to see a familiar face, to feel comfortable, and to trust the person coming through their door. We work hard to match people with carers who suit them, and we do our best to avoid unnecessary changes to rotas and routines. We understand that reaching out for care can feel like a big step, particularly for families who are trying to navigate it all for the first time. We are always happy to have an honest conversation about what support might look like and whether we are the right fit. There is no pressure and no rush. If you or someone you care about is based in Cromer or the surrounding area and you would like to find out more, please do get in touch. We would be glad to help.

Voyage Norfolk provides support to people in their own homes across Dereham and the surrounding county. We work with adults who have a learning disability, with autistic adults, with younger adults, with older people, with people living with physical disabilities or with loss of sight or hearing, and with people managing mental health conditions. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We mention it early because it is a fair reflection of the approach we take rather than a badge we chase. That approach rests on knowing people properly, supporting rather than directing, and sending the same familiar staff to the same people for long enough that the relationship becomes real. A great deal of our work is about enabling rather than caring in the traditional sense. The aim is a person getting to work or college, running their own home, managing their own money as far as they are able, and spending time with the people they choose. We do the parts that genuinely need doing for someone, and no more than that. Where health needs sit alongside those goals we look after them thoroughly, and we work with GPs, community teams and families as needed. South Norfolk Carers provides care in people's own homes in Norwich and across the villages of south Norfolk. We support older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. Working in a rural county shapes how we do things. Distances are longer here, neighbours are further away and public transport is thin, so the visits we make often carry more weight than they would in a city. We plan our rounds carefully so that calls happen when they are supposed to, and so that people are not left waiting and wondering. The support itself is tailored to the person. It may be help to get up, wash and dress in the morning, prompting or assistance with medication, preparing meals and making sure somebody is eating properly, help to move safely about the house, or support with shopping, laundry and the general running of a home. Some of our clients want us to take them out, to appointments or simply for a change of scene. We agree all of this with the person at the outset and put it in writing, and we revise it as things change. Our carers are trained for the needs they meet and know the people they visit well, because we keep the same faces going to the same homes wherever we can. Families are kept informed and we are easy to get hold of. If you are looking into care at home in Norfolk, please get in touch.

We at Home Instead West Norfolk are proud to offer compassionate home care across King's Lynn and the surrounding Norfolk communities, supporting people to live well in the place they know and love most: their own home. Based in the heart of King's Lynn within the PE postcode area, our team reaches out across West Norfolk to bring thoughtful, personalised care directly to the doorsteps of the people we support. Rather than asking families to consider a move away from familiar surroundings, we come to you, weaving our support gently into the rhythm of daily life at home. Whether that means a warm cup of tea shared in a favourite armchair, a walk in a well loved garden, or company during a trip into town, our care is shaped around the environment your loved one already calls home. Our specialisms include older person care, wider home care support, dementia care, and care for younger adults with a range of needs. In practice, this means we take the time to truly understand each person we visit: their history, their preferences, the small routines that bring comfort, and the relationships that matter to them. For families supporting a loved one living with dementia, our approach is patient and reassuring, focusing on maintaining dignity, familiarity, and moments of genuine connection. For older people who simply want a helping hand to remain independent, we can assist with everything from personal care and medication support to companionship and help around the home. For younger adults, our care is equally tailored, recognising that every life stage brings its own hopes, goals, and challenges. We know how difficult it can be for families to reach out for support, and we see our role as a partnership. We keep loved ones informed, listen carefully to concerns, and adapt as needs change over time, so that no one feels alone in navigating the journey of care. We are proud to hold an Outstanding overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, with Outstanding marks in both the Responsive and Well led domains, and Good ratings across Safe, Effective, and Caring. For families, this independent recognition offers meaningful reassurance. Being rated Outstanding for how responsive we are reflects our commitment to shaping care around each individual, adjusting to what truly matters to them. Being rated Outstanding for leadership speaks to a culture where our team is well supported, well trained, and united in delivering care of the highest standard. If you are exploring home care options for someone you love in King's Lynn or across West Norfolk, we would be honoured to have a gentle, no pressure conversation with you. Reach out to us at your own pace, and let us help you find the right way forward, together.

Fuchsia Homecare Gorleston provides care and support to people in their own homes in Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and the surrounding part of Norfolk. The people we work with include older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. That is a wide range of need, and what holds it together is that we start from the person rather than from a package we happen to offer. We visit first, listen properly, and agree what help is wanted, how often and who will provide it, with family or an advocate involved whenever somebody wants them there. Reliability is the substance of this work. Arriving when we said we would, with somebody who already knows the household, is worth more than anything we could claim here. So we keep teams small and local, brief staff properly before they start with somebody new, and avoid unannounced substitutions. For autistic people and people with learning disabilities we give notice of change well in advance and learn how each person prefers to communicate. For people living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting and work at their pace rather than the clock's. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Nightingale Homecare in Gorleston supports people in their own homes across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding part of Norfolk. We visit older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, those with sight or hearing loss and younger adults. Our work begins with a conversation rather than a form. What can somebody still manage, what has become difficult, what would they like their week to contain, and what would they rather we did not interfere with. Those answers become the plan, agreed with the person and with family where they want that, and revisited when circumstances change. Calls run from a short morning visit through to several longer ones a day, covering personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and housework, help to get out to appointments, and genuine company for people who might otherwise speak to nobody for days. For those living with dementia we hold routines and faces steady, because familiarity does more good than any technique. We keep rounds local so carers are not racing between calls and people see a small familiar team, and we give notice when a regular carer is away. Staff train before working alone and are supervised in people's homes once they do. We are a newer team and have not yet had a full inspection of our own. Please ask us anything before you decide, and do speak to people we already support.

We at Kingsley Home Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Diss and the surrounding Norfolk communities, supporting older people, younger adults, and those living with a range of conditions to remain safely and comfortably in the place they love most: their own home. Operating throughout the IP postcode area, our team travels to residents across Diss and the wider region, bringing personalised care directly to your doorstep. Rather than asking loved ones to adjust to a new environment, we work within the familiar surroundings of their own living room, kitchen, and garden, where memories are held and routines feel natural. This continuity of place can be especially reassuring for those who find change unsettling, and it allows families to remain closely involved in daily life. Our specialisms cover a broad spectrum of needs, meaning we can adapt our support as circumstances evolve. For older people, we offer gentle assistance with everyday tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship. Our dementia care approach centres on patience, familiarity, and the preservation of dignity, with carers who understand the importance of calm routine and gentle reassurance for those living with memory loss. We also support adults experiencing mental health challenges, offering steady, non judgemental companionship alongside practical help that promotes independence and wellbeing. For residents with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments, our carers are attentive to communication preferences and mobility needs, adapting their approach so that every interaction feels respectful and empowering. We also work with younger adults who require tailored support to live full and meaningful lives, whether that involves help with daily living, social engagement, or accompanying them to appointments and activities in the local community. In practice, this means families can expect a thoughtful, individualised care plan rather than a one size fits all schedule. We take time to understand each person's history, preferences, and daily rhythms, because we believe good care begins with truly knowing the person you are supporting. For relatives who live at a distance or juggle work with caring responsibilities, our involvement can provide invaluable peace of mind, knowing that a trusted carer is checking in, sharing updates, and treating your loved one with the warmth they deserve. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of Good, achieved across all five inspection domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent standard, confirmed at our most recent inspection in March 2022, reflects the dedication of our carers and the systems we have in place to safeguard the people we support. A Good rating across every domain is not a small achievement; it signals that residents are protected, that outcomes are positive, that kindness underpins our practice, that we respond thoughtfully to individual needs, and that our leadership sets clear expectations for the team. Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand that many families arrive at this point after much reflection. Whether you are exploring options for a parent whose needs have gradually increased, seeking respite so that a family carer can rest, or arranging longer term support following a change in health, we are here to listen without pressure. We invite you to get in touch to talk through what matters most to your family, ask any questions you may have, and discover how our team in Diss can help your loved one continue living well at home.

Hales Group in Norfolk provides care and support to people in their own homes across Norwich and the wider county. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, people managing mental health conditions or an eating disorder, people with a physical disability or with sight or hearing loss, and people dealing with alcohol or drug misuse. That breadth is deliberate, because very few people fit neatly into one category and support that addresses only part of somebody's situation tends not to hold. What stays constant is the method. We visit first, ask what the person wants help with and what they would rather keep doing themselves, and agree the arrangement with them before anything is fixed. The support itself covers personal care, prompting and help with medication, meals and drinks, mobility, shopping and housework, and getting out to appointments, education or work. Our carers are trained for the needs they support, supervised in the work and matched to people wherever the rota allows. Covering a largely rural county also means planning rounds with travel in mind, and we do that properly. If you are considering support at home in Norfolk, please contact us and we will arrange to come and see you.

We are Mill Lodge, a home care agency supporting adults in Norwich and across Norfolk. We provide care in people's own homes, at the times and to the extent that genuinely suits them. We support older people and people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities or autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want help to live independently. Across a county with a good deal of countryside as well as a city, we plan our rounds carefully so that rural visits are as dependable as those in Norwich. The starting point is always a proper conversation about what someone wants from us, what they would rather keep doing for themselves and what would make the biggest difference to their week. From there the plan is written with the person, and changed when their circumstances change rather than at some fixed date on a form. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. That being so, we would encourage you to test us with practical questions: how we recruit and train our staff, what happens when someone is delayed, who you can reach in the evening or at the weekend. Please contact us if you would like to discuss support at home in Norfolk.

Squirrels is a home care agency supporting adults in and around Aylsham in Norfolk in their own homes. We plan support around how a person actually wants to live rather than around a standard package, and we keep the same workers with the same people wherever we can. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, often with a focus on building confidence and taking on more independently rather than having things done for them. We work with people managing mental health conditions, where reliability and being genuinely listened to matter as much as any practical task, and with people living with a physical disability, where good support is mostly about making daily life workable again. We also support people with sight or hearing loss, where small sensible adjustments can change how connected someone feels to what is going on around them. Working in a rural area has its complications, and we would rather be honest about timings than promise something we cannot deliver. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that plainly. Until then, judge us on the practical things, whether we arrive when we said we would, whether we ring when something has to change and whether we are straight with you about what we can offer.

We are the ACT Centre, providing care and support to adults in their own homes in Norwich and the surrounding part of Norfolk. We support people living with dementia, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, and younger adults who need help with daily life. Depending on the person, that might mean personal care, support with medication, meals, housework and shopping, help getting out to appointments or groups, or reliable company at a set time each day. Because we are guests in somebody's home, they set the terms. We ask how things are usually done and we do them that way rather than arriving with a system of our own. We agree the times that suit and we keep to them, since a late call is no small matter when somebody is waiting to get up or needs their tablets. Wherever we can we send the same small group of workers. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Until we have, please ask us direct questions about how we recruit, train and supervise our staff, and who you can reach out of hours. We would rather be judged on clear answers than on claims made here.

We at Cera - King's Lynn are proud to provide compassionate home care across Kings Lynn and the surrounding communities of Norfolk, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home. As a home care agency, our support comes to you. Rather than asking individuals to adjust to a new environment, our carers travel throughout Kings Lynn and the wider PE postcode area, bringing personalised care directly to familiar surroundings. This means residents can continue to enjoy their own bedroom, their own kitchen, the garden they have tended for years, and the neighbours and routines that give daily life its comfort and meaning. For many families, knowing that a loved one can remain at home whilst receiving professional support brings enormous peace of mind. The breadth of care we offer reflects the diverse needs of the community we serve. We provide dedicated support for older people, including specialist dementia care delivered with patience, understanding, and a focus on preserving dignity and identity. Our team also supports younger adults, people living with learning disabilities or autism, and those managing mental health conditions. We assist individuals with physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, and we offer sensitive support for people navigating recovery from alcohol or drug misuse. Whatever the circumstances, our approach begins with listening, understanding each person as an individual, and shaping care around their preferences, routines, and goals. In practice, this means families can rely on us for everything from a helping hand with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders, through to more complex care requirements. Just as importantly, our carers offer companionship and continuity, building trusted relationships that make a genuine difference to wellbeing. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of Good across every domain assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. This consistent recognition offers families reassurance that the care delivered in their loved one's home meets the standards expected by the national regulator, and that our team is dedicated to maintaining and building upon that standard. Choosing home care is a significant decision, and we understand the weight it carries. If you are exploring options for yourself or someone you love in Kings Lynn or the surrounding Norfolk area, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Our team is here to answer your questions, talk through what support might look like, and help you feel confident about the next step.

At Caremark North Norfolk & Great Yarmouth, we provide home care for people living in Cromer and across the surrounding area of Norfolk. We support individuals who want to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, whether they need a little help each day or more involved care on a regular basis. Our team works with older people, younger adults, and individuals living with dementia or a physical disability. We understand that every person we support has their own routine, preferences, and way of doing things, so we take time at the outset to understand what matters most to each individual and their family. Care plans are built around the person, not the other way around. Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. Supporting someone living with dementia requires patience, consistency, and a genuine understanding of how the condition affects day to day life. We work closely with families to make sure the care we provide feels familiar and reassuring rather than disruptive. For people with physical disabilities, whether younger or older, we focus on promoting independence wherever possible while providing practical support where it is needed. We never assume what someone can or cannot do. We ask, we listen, and we adjust. We are based in Cromer and know this part of Norfolk well. Being local matters to us because it means we can respond quickly, build genuine relationships with the people we support, and remain properly connected to the communities we work within. Our most recent Care Quality Commission rating is currently not rated, and we welcome any opportunity for families to speak with us directly, ask questions, and get a proper feel for how we work before making any decisions. We are always happy to have that conversation.

Based in the NR postcode area of North Walsham, our team is well placed to reach residents throughout this welcoming market town and its neighbouring villages. Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide tailored home care for adults with learning disabilities and autism, offering consistent, person centred support that respects individual preferences, communication styles and personal goals. For those living with a physical disability, we assist with mobility, personal care and daily tasks in a way that promotes dignity and independence. We also support people with visual or hearing impairments, adapting our approach to ensure that communication is always clear, respectful and reassuring. In practice, this means families can feel confident that their loved one is being cared for by a team who take the time to understand the whole person, not just their care needs. TAMA75 supports people across Norwich and the surrounding area in their own homes. Our work covers a wide range of needs, and we plan each person's support around their own routines rather than around a standard schedule. We support older people with the everyday tasks that have become harder, and people living with dementia, where a familiar carer and a calm pace matter more than anything on paper. We work with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. We also support younger adults, whose expectations of care are usually rather different from the standard picture. Being properly known is what makes this work. A carer who knows a person well notices the flat mood or the untouched meal that turns out to be the first sign of something, and that is how problems get caught early rather than late. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather say so openly. Until we do, judge us on whether visits happen as agreed, whether we ring when something has to change and whether we give you straight answers.

Visits cover personal care, medication, meals, help to move safely about the home, shopping, appointments and company. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are pleased with that and wary of it, because the standard takes far more effort to hold than to reach and the surest way to lose it is to start quoting it at people. What gets us there is not complicated. Small visiting teams so that people are genuinely known. Care workers matched to people rather than dropped into slots. Honest planning of rounds across a rural area, and honest conversations with families about the times we can actually commit to. And a willingness to say when we are not the right answer for somebody. If you are arranging support at home in west Norfolk, please get in touch and we will talk through what would genuinely help.

Yourlife in Hunstanton provides care and support to people in their own homes and apartments in Hunstanton and the surrounding area of Norfolk. We support older people who need a hand with the parts of the day that have become harder, whether that is getting up, washing and dressing, managing medication, preparing meals, shopping or keeping the place in order. We also support younger adults who want practical help arranged around their own routines. A good deal of our work is with people living with dementia and with the families around them. Consistency is what helps most, so we send the same small group of carers wherever we can, we take our time on a visit rather than working through a list, and we keep relatives honestly informed instead of waiting to be asked. We also support people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and what equipment we use so that nothing about somebody's care is decided over their head. Support can be a short daily call or a fuller arrangement across the day, and it can be increased after illness or a hospital stay and eased back as someone recovers. We review plans properly rather than letting them go out of date. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are the Roster Home Care team in Norwich, providing care and support to people in their own homes across the city and the surrounding parts of Norfolk. We visit older people and younger adults. A call may involve help with washing and dressing, prompting or giving medication, preparing a meal, shopping, laundry or keeping the house in order. For many of the people we see it also means a familiar face at a predictable hour and somebody who notices how they are doing. We support people living with dementia and plan our rounds so that the same carers visit the same people wherever we can arrange it, because familiarity settles people more effectively than anything else we could offer. We also work with people who have physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and how we work in a home so that help is both safe and genuinely useful. Care begins with an assessment at home and a proper conversation about what would really help. The plan belongs to the person, family are part of it when the person wants them there, and it changes as needs change. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. I Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Dereham and the surrounding part of Norfolk. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability or autism, and people with a physical disability or with sight or hearing loss. Most of the people who come to us are trying to stay where they are. They want their own home, their own routines and as much independence as they can keep, and they need practical help to make that realistic. That is what we provide, and we take care not to take over what somebody can still manage. Our visits may cover help with getting up and going to bed, washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, and keeping on top of shopping, laundry and the house. For some people we also provide support to get out to appointments and activities. Covering a rural area means planning rounds with travel in mind, and we do that rather than leaving carers chasing the clock. We keep the same people visiting the same households wherever we can. Our carers are trained and supervised, and we keep families and other professionals informed. If you would like to discuss care at home in Norfolk, please ring us.

Our visits range from a short daily call to a full package of support, and we shape them around how each person wants their day to run rather than around a fixed timetable. Much of our work is with older people who want to stay independent at home, including those living with dementia. We take the time to learn the routines and preferences that keep someone settled and confident, because familiarity does a great deal of the work that no care plan can do on its own. We also support younger adults, people with a physical disability and people managing a mental health condition, helping with personal care, medication, meals, mobility and getting out into the community. Families tell us that reliability matters as much as anything, so we send the same carers wherever we can, we arrive when we say we will, and we speak plainly when something needs to change. Others need several visits a day, or a longer period of support to keep a tenancy going, get to appointments and stay connected to the people around them. We agree what is genuinely wanted at the outset and review it properly when circumstances change. We put real effort into continuity, keeping the same small group of carers with the same person. Personal care is easier to accept from someone you know, and a carer who knows your usual self will notice quickly when something is wrong. We want to be open about our position. Eagles Recruitment and Healthcare provides care and support at home in Norwich and the surrounding part of Norfolk. We work with older people and with adults living with dementia. We have chosen to concentrate on this work rather than spread ourselves across everything. Supporting older people at home, and supporting people living with dementia in particular, is skilled and patient work, and it goes far better when the same people do it for the same person over time. Support ranges from a single call in the morning to help somebody wash, dress and get going safely, through to several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and a check in the evening. Before we start we spend proper time understanding what would genuinely help, what somebody would rather manage themselves and how they like things done in their own house. For people living with dementia, consistency is the most valuable thing we can offer. A familiar worker who knows where the tea is kept, what the routine is and what tends to unsettle somebody will achieve far more than a stranger working from a care plan. We also take time to learn about a person's life, because it helps us make sense of what we see. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Taylor Care Norfolk provides support in people's own homes in Fakenham and across Norfolk. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. We think good home care is quiet, reliable and shaped around the person rather than the rota. Before support begins we take proper time to work out what would genuinely help, what somebody would rather do for themselves and how they like things done in their own house. Then we build a small, settled team around them, so the person at the door is someone they recognise. Support covers personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and keeping a household running, and it can range from one short call a day to a package covering most of it. We are used to working alongside district nurses, GPs, social workers and family carers, and we try to make that coordination our job rather than the family's. For people living with dementia, consistency of face and timing is the most useful thing we can offer, so we protect it. Where somebody has a sensory impairment we adapt how we communicate and leave the home exactly as they expect to find it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. By delivering care in the familiar surroundings of a person's own house, we help preserve routines, cherished memories, and the comfort that only home can offer. Our care is tailored to meet a broad range of needs. We support older people who may require a little extra help with daily living, from personal care and medication reminders to companionship and meal preparation. We also provide specialist support for adults living with learning disabilities and autism, working closely with each individual to understand their preferences, communication styles, and personal goals. In addition, we offer care for younger adults whose circumstances mean they benefit from thoughtful, respectful support at home. For families, this breadth of expertise means peace of mind. Whether you are seeking short visits to help a parent maintain their independence, or a more structured programme of support for a relative with complex needs, we work with you to build a care plan that genuinely fits. We take time to listen, because we believe that good home care begins with truly understanding the person receiving it. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of Good across every domain assessed, including Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this consistent rating offers meaningful reassurance that the care delivered by our team meets the standards expected by the national regulator. It reflects a culture where residents are treated with dignity, where staff are supported to do their jobs well, and where the voice of the person receiving care is always at the centre of what we do. Choosing home care for someone you love is a deeply personal decision, and we understand the weight of that choice. If you would like to learn more about how we could support your family member in Thetford or the surrounding area, please do get in touch. Home Instead Mid Norfolk provides care and companionship in people's own homes across mid Norfolk from our base in Norwich. We visit older people, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. We put real weight on the length of a visit. A great deal of what makes home care worthwhile cannot be done at speed: a proper conversation, a meal eaten together rather than left on a tray, a walk that is not rushed. When calls are too short everything becomes a task, and the person becomes a list. So we build time into what we do, and we expect our carers to sit down. The practical help covers washing and dressing, medication, meals, moving safely around the house, household jobs, shopping, appointments and getting out. For people living with dementia we hold to familiar carers at familiar times and work with the routines already in the household rather than improving on them. Where sight or hearing loss is part of things, the small habits carry the weight: saying who we are as we arrive, leaving furniture exactly where it lives, checking that glasses and hearing aids are clean and working. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. Please ask us openly about our staffing and training.

We are the Leaf Care team covering Norwich West and South Norfolk, providing care and support to people in their own homes across the area. We visit older people and younger adults, with packages ranging from one short daily call to substantial support built around complex needs. Our calls cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and household tasks, and for many of the people we see, reliable company as well. The range of people we work with is wide. It includes people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions including eating disorders, people with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug misuse. That breadth only works if the planning is careful, so we assess properly before we start and review as things move on. Where other professionals are involved, whether a community mental health team, a dietitian or a social worker, we work with them rather than around them. Continuity of carer is scheduled for rather than hoped for. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss care at home.

- Home Care
Torche Point Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Norwich and the surrounding part of Norfolk. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, and people whose physical disability or sight or hearing loss makes daily tasks harder than they should be. The people who ring us are usually at a point where things have started to slip, whether that is meals being missed, medication getting muddled or washing and dressing becoming the hardest part of the day. Our job is to put that right with as little disruption as possible so that somebody can carry on living in their own home. Our visits can cover personal care, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, and practical tasks such as shopping, laundry and keeping the house in order. For people living with dementia we keep the same carers visiting and take time to learn a person's history and routines, because familiarity does more good than anything else available to us. Our carers are trained for the needs they support and supervised in the work, and we keep families and other professionals informed. If you would like to discuss care at home in Norfolk, please ring us.

What care at home in Norfolk actually involves
Care at home is bought by the hour rather than by the room, and that one difference shapes everything about how these providers should be compared. A package might be a single half hour call to help someone wash and take their tablets, or four visits a day covering meals, personal care and settling at night. Understanding which shape fits before ringing round saves a great deal of time.
The practical detail that decides how well it works
Ask how many different carers are likely to attend over a fortnight, because continuity is the thing families most often wish they had insisted on. Find out what happens when a regular carer is off sick, how late a call can run before the office rings to explain, and whether visits are logged electronically so relatives can see what was done. Check the minimum visit length, since a rushed call leaves no room for a proper meal or an unhurried wash. Confirm which tasks the agency will take on, particularly medication, catheter care, hoisting and anything needing two carers, and ask how far the agency travels, as rural addresses across Norfolk can sit at the edge of a provider's usual round.
Reading the inspection ratings
Ratings here are published by the Care Quality Commission and include Outstanding, Good and Requires Improvement, alongside agencies not yet rated. Good means inspectors found the agency met the standards tested on safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership. Requires Improvement is worth investigating rather than dismissing, because the reasons range from paperwork gaps to late and missed calls, and the second of those matters enormously to somebody waiting on morning medication. Agencies such as Bluebell Support Services, Elite Care, Ambition Community Healthcare and I Care Service carry a Good rating on this listing. A number of providers here are not yet rated, which usually reflects a recent registration rather than a concern, though it does mean asking more questions and seeking references yourself.
Getting an assessment and sorting out funding in Norfolk
The route into funded support is the same whether the outcome is two visits a week or four a day, and beginning it before a crisis gives the family room to choose.
Requesting a care needs assessment
Anyone who appears to need care and support can ask for an assessment, and no financial test applies before it takes place. Norfolk County Council is responsible for carrying out that assessment and for arranging funded support where the national eligibility criteria are met. It looks at washing, dressing, meals, medication, mobility and how safe somebody is between visits, and ends in a written record that is useful even to families paying privately, because it states plainly how much help is genuinely needed. A relative giving regular unpaid support may request a carer assessment of their own at the same time.
What it is likely to cost
Charges are usually set by the hour or by the visit, so the weekly figure depends on how many calls are needed and how long each lasts. Where council help is sought, a financial assessment follows and considers income, savings and other capital, with anyone above the national threshold normally expected to fund their own support. Ask each agency for its hourly rate in writing, along with weekend and bank holiday charges, whether travel time is billed, and what notice is needed to change or cancel a visit.
Frequently asked questions about home care in Norfolk
Which providers appear on this Norfolk listing?
This page brings together one hundred and seventy nine home care agencies registered with the Care Quality Commission to operate in Norfolk. They deliver personal care in people's own homes, from a single daily call through to several visits a day. Providers on the list include Riseup Healthcare Ltd, About with Friends, Carewatch Norfolk and Fairway House. Each profile shows the current published rating and links through to the full inspection report.
What should I ask an agency before agreeing to a package?
Start with continuity: how many carers will attend across a typical fortnight, and who covers when the usual carer is unavailable. Ask about minimum visit lengths, how arrival times are recorded, and whether family members can see a log of each call. Request the hourly rate in writing together with weekend and bank holiday rates, any charge for travel, and the notice period for changing or stopping visits. It is also worth asking who reviews the care plan, how often, and which number to ring outside office hours.
How does care at home differ from a care home or a nursing home?
Care at home brings a carer to the person for agreed visits, leaving them in their own house with their own routine and belongings. A care home provides accommodation with personal care and staff on site day and night, which becomes the safer choice when help is needed unpredictably or someone is unsafe alone overnight. A nursing home offers that plus registered nurses on the premises for clinical needs such as complex medication or wound care. Every provider on this Norfolk page supports people in their own homes rather than in a residential setting.
Can Norfolk County Council help pay for care at home?
It can, where the person meets the care eligibility criteria and the financial assessment that follows. Norfolk County Council considers income, savings and other capital to decide how much someone contributes towards the cost of their support. Those with capital above the national threshold usually pay for their own care, although they may still request an assessment and ask for advice on arranging it. Where the council contributes, it agrees a personal budget, which some people take as a direct payment and use to commission an agency themselves.
How do I arrange a care needs assessment in Norfolk?
Ring the adult social care team at Norfolk County Council and ask for a care needs assessment. Anyone who appears to need care and support is entitled to one whatever their savings, and a family member can make the request with the person's consent. The assessment covers daily tasks, mobility, medication and safety at home, and produces a written record of what support is required. If the person is in hospital, the ward team can refer straight through, which usually speeds matters up.
How far ahead should home care be organised?
Earlier than most families expect, because the busiest slots fill quickly and Norfolk covers a great deal of ground. Early morning and teatime calls are the hardest to secure, so a request made at short notice may be met with times that do not really suit. Starting early also allows a small package to be trialled and adjusted once everyone can see how it works day to day. Where a hospital discharge is on the horizon, tell the ward promptly so the assessment can run alongside discharge planning.
