About Us

Eagles Recruitment and Healthcare provides care and support at home in Norwich and the surrounding part of Norfolk. We work with older people and with adults living with dementia.

We have chosen to concentrate on this work rather than spread ourselves across everything. Supporting older people at home, and supporting people living with dementia in particular, is skilled and patient work, and it goes far better when the same people do it for the same person over time.

Support ranges from a single call in the morning to help somebody wash, dress and get going safely, through to several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and a check in the evening. Before we start we spend proper time understanding what would genuinely help, what somebody would rather manage themselves and how they like things done in their own house.

For people living with dementia, consistency is the most valuable thing we can offer. A familiar worker who knows where the tea is kept, what the routine is and what tends to unsettle somebody will achieve far more than a stranger working from a care plan. We also take time to learn about a person's life, because it helps us make sense of what we see.
