About Us

Fisher Healthcare East Anglia provides care in people's own homes across Norwich and the surrounding parts of Norfolk. We support older people, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, people living with mental health conditions, adults with a physical disability or with a visual or hearing impairment, younger adults, and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse.

Home care works when it fits the person rather than the rota. Some of those we support need a short call in the morning to help with washing, dressing and medication. Others need several visits a day, or a longer period of support to keep a tenancy going, get to appointments and stay connected to the people around them. We agree what is genuinely wanted at the outset and review it properly when circumstances change.

We put real effort into continuity, keeping the same small group of carers with the same person. Personal care is easier to accept from someone you know, and a carer who knows your usual self will notice quickly when something is wrong.

We want to be open about our position. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We accept that judgement and are working through the points raised with us. If you are considering us, please ask about it directly and we will give you a straight answer.
