Can Leicestershire County Council fund a residential care home placement?

It can, where a care needs assessment finds eligible needs and a financial assessment of income and capital supports it. The council may meet the fees in full, meet part of them with a contribution from the person moving in, or decide that the placement is privately funded. Beginning with a care needs assessment
