Veterans Healthcare provides care and support in people's own homes in Nuneaton and across Warwickshire. Our work is built around the life somebody already leads, and our aim is to support it rather than rearrange it for our own convenience. The people we support have a wide range of needs. Older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals or getting safely about the house. People living with dementia, where familiarity and an unhurried manner do more good than anything else. People living with mental health conditions, where a steady relationship and early attention to changes count for most. People with physical disabilities, and people with a visual or hearing impairment, where we adapt how we assist and how we communicate so that nobody is spoken about rather than spoken to. We also support people living with eating disorders and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse, without judgement and at the pace they set, along with younger adults whose weeks are organised around work, study and family. Wherever the rota allows, the same small group of workers visits each person, because that is what turns a series of visits into a relationship. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Please get in touch and ask us how we would approach your situation.

Mobile Care supports people across Atherstone and the surrounding part of Warwickshire in their own homes. We arrange visits around existing routines rather than around what suits a rota, and we aim to keep the same carers going to the same people. We support older people with the everyday tasks that have become harder, and people living with dementia, where continuity and patience are worth more than anything written down. We work with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. We also support younger adults and people in recovery from alcohol or drug misuse, and we approach that work without judgement. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We would rather set that out ourselves than leave you to come across it elsewhere. We have taken the findings seriously, and our focus has gone to the things families actually notice, which is reliable timekeeping, accurate records and carers who know somebody well enough to spot when something has changed.

Community Case Management provides care in people's own homes in Shipston on Stour and across Warwickshire. We support adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability or autism, people living with mental health conditions, adults with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and people affected by eating disorders or by alcohol and drug misuse. Much of our work involves people whose circumstances are complicated, where several teams and professionals are already involved and nobody is quite holding the whole picture. We plan support around the person rather than around whichever service happens to be leading, and we make a point of working alongside community teams, GPs and families so that everyone concerned is actually talking to one another. The support itself ranges from practical help at home through to sustained support that keeps a tenancy, a routine and a set of relationships going. We agree what is genuinely wanted with the person and we review it honestly when circumstances change rather than letting an arrangement run on unexamined. Continuity matters more than almost anything else in this work, so we keep the same carers with the same person wherever the rota allows. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch and ask us whatever you need to know.

Visiting Angels Warwickshire supports adults in their own homes in Henley in Arden and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autism, people with physical disabilities, and people who have sight or hearing loss. Staying at home usually depends on a small number of practical things going right, so those are what we concentrate on. Help with washing and dressing, medicines taken as they should be, proper meals rather than whatever is easiest, the housework kept under control, the shopping done, and a reliable way of getting out to appointments and to see people. We fit visits around the person's day rather than around ours. Continuity is something we take seriously. Meeting an unfamiliar care worker at the door is unsettling for anybody and particularly so for somebody living with dementia, so we build a small team around each person and let you know in advance when that has to change. Company is a legitimate reason for us to be there, and a visit where somebody sits down and talks properly is worth a great deal more than one that is over in five minutes. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Timekeeping, continuity and well trained staff are what keep it that way.

We are GN Wellsprings Care, a home care agency supporting adults in their own homes in Rugby and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. We support older people and people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities or autism, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want help to live independently. That range means we take real care matching workers to people, because the skills and the manner needed vary a great deal from one visit to the next. Support might be a single call each morning or a series of visits covering personal care, medication, meals, housework and company. We agree the plan with the person and with anyone else they want involved, we record what we have actually done, and we pass on anything that has changed to someone who can act on it. We try hard to keep the same small group of workers going to the same person. Familiarity does much of the work in home care: somebody you know is easier to let into the house, and a worker who knows you notices sooner when you are unwell. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to talk.

Here at Laurel Gardens in Atherstone, Warwickshire, we provide home care support that helps people live well in the comfort of their own homes. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in every single day to make a real difference to the people we support. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Because the people we support have such varied needs and backgrounds, we take time to understand what matters most to each individual. Care is never one size fits all, and we do not treat it that way. Our focus is on helping people maintain their independence and feel confident in their own surroundings. Whether that means support with daily routines, personal care, or simply having someone reliable to call on, we aim to be a consistent and familiar presence in people's lives. We know that inviting someone into your home takes trust, and we do not take that lightly. The team here in Atherstone genuinely cares about the people it works with. We take time to match the right support worker to each person, and we make sure our staff are properly trained and equipped to provide thoughtful, respectful care across all of our specialisms. If you are exploring care options for yourself or for someone close to you, we would always encourage you to get in touch and have a conversation with us. We are happy to talk through what we can offer and how we might be able to help. We are based locally and know this community well, which we think makes a real difference.

VictoriaDomCare provides support in people's own homes in Alcester and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. We work with older people, with people living with dementia, with people who have physical disabilities, with people living with sight or hearing loss and with younger adults whose care sits alongside work, study and family life. Support ranges from a single call first thing to several visits a day. For many people the morning call is the one that matters most, because it is what makes the rest of the day workable. For others, the point is not being alone for long stretches, which is a different need and deserves to be treated as one. Where somebody is living with dementia, patience and consistency do more good than anything else. The same carer, arriving at roughly the same time, doing things in the order a person is used to. We meet people where they are rather than correcting them into our version of the day. Where there is sight or hearing loss, the small things carry weight. Saying who we are as we come in. Describing what is on the plate. Putting things back exactly where they were left. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to arrange a visit.

- Home Care
Welcombe Care is a home care agency in Stratford Upon Avon, supporting people in their own homes across Warwickshire. We work with older people, people living with dementia, adults with a physical disability, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Our starting point is the life someone already has. Home care should fit into it, not reorganise it. So the first conversation is about how the day runs, what has become difficult, and what the person would rather keep doing for themselves. The care plan comes out of that rather than out of a template. Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals, help around the house and getting out to appointments or into town. For some people we are a short term arrangement during recovery. For others we are part of the week for years, and the relationship becomes as important as the tasks. We put effort into sending the same carers to the same people. Where someone lives with dementia or has reduced sight or hearing, familiarity is not a nicety. It is what makes the visit work at all. We also keep timings steady, because a call that drifts can unsettle a whole day. We talk to families, and we flag changes early, whether that is weight loss, a sore area or someone becoming low in themselves. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Do get in touch if you would like to talk through what we could offer.

- Home Care
Purple Care TM supports people in their own homes across Nuneaton and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. We believe most people manage far better at home than anywhere else, provided the right support turns up at the right time and is delivered by someone they know. Our carers visit older people who need a hand with personal care, medication, meals or mobility, and we support people living with dementia in the surroundings that already make sense to them. We also work with adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, and younger adults who want support that helps them get on with life rather than support that takes it over. What each person gets is agreed with them. Some want brisk, practical help and their privacy respected. Others want company and encouragement as much as anything practical. We ask, we listen and we review the arrangement as needs change, which they usually do. Reliability is the part we take most seriously. Being late is not a small thing when someone is waiting to get up, so we plan our rounds carefully and keep families informed. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. If you are considering care at home, call us and we will visit to talk it through with no obligation.

Individual Care supports people in their own homes across Studley and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. The name reflects how we work. There is no standard package here, because the people we visit have very little in common beyond wanting to stay where they are. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic people, people managing mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities. For one person that means a short call each morning. For another it means several hours of support, or help that runs through the day, or someone alongside them at appointments and in the community. Every arrangement starts with a proper conversation about what has become difficult and what the person still wants to handle themselves. We write down what we have agreed, and we go back to it when things change rather than letting it drift out of date. We work hard on continuity. Familiar carers make support easier to accept, and they spot the small changes that tell you somebody is becoming unwell. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are thinking about care at home in this part of Warwickshire, get in touch and we will talk it through honestly, including whether we are the right fit.

We are a home care agency based in Rugby, providing care and support to people in their own homes across Warwickshire. Our work is about making it possible for people to stay where they are settled, with help that fits around the life they already have. Most of the people we visit are older adults. We help with washing and dressing, with medication, with preparing meals and with the everyday tasks that have quietly become harder to manage alone. We support people living with dementia, where sending familiar carers at familiar times is the single most useful thing we can do, so we try hard to keep the same small team visiting the same households. We also support younger adults, where our role is generally to back somebody's independence rather than to manage it for them. We agree each plan with the person at the start, write it down together and review it as things change, particularly after a spell in hospital. Some households want one short visit a day, others need several calls, and we would rather adjust an arrangement properly than let it drift out of date. Our carers are checked before they begin, trained for the work they do and supported by senior staff who can be reached when questions come up. If you are considering care at home in the Rugby area, please get in touch and we will talk it through with you honestly.

Bluebird Care Stratford and Warwick provides care in people's own homes across Warwick, Stratford and the wider Warwickshire area. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities or sight and hearing loss, and people managing mental health conditions. Everything begins with a conversation in the person's own home. We want to know how the day currently works, what has become difficult, what someone is determined to keep doing for themselves and what would genuinely help. From that we build a plan with the person, and we change it when their needs change rather than waiting for a review date. Visits might cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and getting out and about. Just as important is continuity. We keep the group of carers around each household small and familiar, because that is what turns a care visit into something a person looks forward to rather than tolerates. Our carers are asked to notice and report changes, and we act on what they tell us, whether that means contacting the GP, speaking to the family or adjusting the support we provide. The Care Quality Commission rates us good overall. If you are arranging care at home in Warwickshire, for yourself or for a relative, please get in touch and we will visit, talk everything through and be clear about what we can offer.

Warwickshire Supported Living supports people in their own homes in Leamington Spa and across Warwickshire. Our work is about independence: helping people live in their own place, on their own terms, with as much or as little support as they actually want. We support adults with learning disabilities and autism, including many younger adults who are building their first properly independent life, and we support older people who need help with day to day routines. What that looks like varies enormously. It might be assistance with personal care or medication. It might be a hand with cooking, cleaning, shopping or budgeting. It might be going along to an appointment or a new activity until somebody feels confident enough to go alone. Quite often the aim is for our involvement to shrink over time, and we count that as success rather than lost work. Autism support here is worked out person by person. We pay attention to sensory needs, to how much notice somebody wants before anything changes, and to the ways people show discomfort without words. We record what we learn so that support stays consistent across the team. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking into supported living for yourself or a relative, please contact us and we will talk honestly about what we can offer.

Hartley Locums provides care and support to people in their own homes in Southam and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. We work with older people and people living with dementia, with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, with people who have physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment, and with younger adults. Each package is planned around the person rather than offered from a list. Some people want a short call in the morning to help with washing, dressing and medication so the day starts safely. Others need support at several points, with meals, mobility, the laundry and the house, or help to get out to appointments and to see people. For adults with a learning disability and for autistic adults, the work is often about making independent living practical. Covering small towns and villages means being realistic about travel, so we plan rounds carefully, arrive when we said we would and telephone if we are held up. We visit before anything begins, agree the plan with the person and anyone they want present, write it in plain words and review it as needs change. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Please contact us to arrange a visit.

We also have experience working with those who have a visual or hearing impairment, and we take the time to understand how each person communicates and what matters most to them in their daily life. We have honest conversations from the start, so that everyone involved knows what to expect and feels confident in the support being provided. Platinum Healthcare provides care at home for people in Alcester and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. We are a home care agency, which means the support comes to your door, at times agreed with you, and is built around the life you already have. Most of our work is with older people who want to carry on living at home, including many living with dementia. In dementia care, familiar surroundings and a familiar routine do much of the work, and our job is to protect that while quietly filling in what has become difficult. We also support people with physical disabilities and younger adults who need care that supports independence rather than replacing it. Depending on the person, a visit might mean help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, preparing meals, help with shopping and the running of the house, or simply time spent in someone's company. We keep our teams small and consistent, so that the person at your door is somebody you know. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good. We keep our own checks running between inspections, because standards are held day to day rather than on inspection week. If you are thinking about care for yourself or a member of your family, please get in touch. We will talk it through honestly and without any pressure.

Some of that work is still under way. We would rather tell you that now than have you discover it later, and if you ring and ask what has actually changed we will give you specifics. The work itself matters to the households we visit and we intend to do it properly. Personal care, medicines, meals, help keeping a home running, and consistent support for people whose needs are not straightforward. We keep the same care workers going to the same homes as far as the rota allows, because familiarity is what makes everything else possible. Supporting autistic adults and people living with mental ill health calls for patience and for staff who have been trained rather than left to improvise, and that is where much of our effort is going. If you are arranging care in Warwickshire, please call and we will be honest with you.

Helping Hands Warwickshire provides care and support to people in their own homes in Stratford upon Avon and across the county. We work with older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia or with mental ill health, people with a learning disability, people who are autistic, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. We begin with a visit and a proper conversation rather than a form. What we need to understand is how the day goes now, where it has become difficult and what kind of help would genuinely be welcome. From that we agree a plan with the person and, if they want it, with their family, write it down plainly and review it as circumstances change. Visits can cover getting up and settling at night, washing and dressing, prompting or assisting with medication, preparing meals, help around the house, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see people. We also provide dependable cover for relatives caring for somebody themselves. In a rural county, reliability matters above all, so we plan rounds carefully and send the same carers to the same households wherever we can. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering care at home in Warwickshire, please call us.

We are Phoenix Gold Homecare, based in Nuneaton, and we provide care in people's own homes across Warwickshire. We support older people, including many living with dementia, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults. Every arrangement begins with a conversation in the person's own home. How does the day run now? What has become difficult? What do you still want to do for yourself, and where would help genuinely help? From those answers we agree the visits, and we expect to revise them as circumstances move. Support might be a short call in the morning, a prompt and a check with medication, a meal cooked and eaten with company, help getting safely about the house, or several calls a day. We should be straightforward about our position. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We have looked carefully at what was raised and putting those points right is where our attention is concentrated now. We would rather tell you that ourselves and be asked about it than have you find it later. Alongside that, the thing we work hardest at is consistency: sending the same carers to the same households, and letting families know promptly when a visit has to change. If you would like to talk about support for yourself or a relative, please ring us and ask us anything you like.

- Home Care
We provide care in people's own homes in Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. Our aim is to make staying at home workable, with support that turns up when it is supposed to and is delivered by carers the household knows. Most of the people we visit are older. We help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the practical jobs around the house that have become awkward. We support people living with dementia, where continuity of carer and a steady routine can decide how a whole day goes, along with people who have a physical disability, including safe support with moving and transfers, and younger adults needing help to live independently. We are careful about rotas. Sending a stranger to carry out personal care is not acceptable to us, so we build small teams around each person and introduce new carers properly before they visit on their own. Everything begins with a home visit and an honest conversation about what would actually help. The plan is written in plain language, agreed with the person and reviewed as circumstances change. If you are looking into home care in this part of Warwickshire, please get in touch and we will come out and talk it over.

We provide care at home in Alcester and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire, supporting older adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and younger adults. Our work covers washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and keeping a household ticking over, aimed at what has genuinely become hard rather than at taking over what somebody can still manage themselves. Working across a rural area means being honest about distance. A round that looks efficient on paper falls apart on a wet morning on country lanes, and it is the person waiting to be helped out of bed who pays for that. So we build schedules that survive an ordinary bad day. Isolation is a real part of what we deal with here. For several of the people we visit we are the only caller that day, so we plan enough time for the conversation rather than treating it as optional. With dementia, consistency does most of the work: the same carer at the same time, in the same order, in a home where nothing has been rearranged. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We ask the people we visit what they think of us and act on the critical answers.

Almond Care provides care and support in people's own homes across Nuneaton and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. We work with older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people with physical disabilities or loss of sight or hearing, people managing mental health conditions, and people living with eating disorders. Covering that range means a template would be useless, so we do not use one. We sit down with the person, find out where help is genuinely needed and what they want their days to look like, and build the visits from there. Where somebody is living with an eating disorder, mealtime support calls for a particular kind of patience and consistency, and we make sure the staff involved understand that rather than treating it as ordinary prompting. We keep the same carers with the same households wherever the rota allows, because familiarity is what makes the arrangement comfortable rather than intrusive. Essential Futures provides care and support in people's own homes in Nuneaton and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire, working mainly with adults who have a learning disability or autism and adults living with mental health conditions. Our approach is to build support around the individual rather than to offer a fixed package. What helps most, in our experience, is communication pitched to suit the person, a routine that can be relied upon and support that builds skills instead of quietly replacing them. For people living with mental health conditions, a steady and trusting relationship matters more than anything else, along with staff who know somebody well enough to notice when things are shifting. Practically, our support can include help with personal care, medication, meals, managing a household, getting to appointments and taking part in ordinary life outside the front door. Most of the people we support are younger adults, and where somebody has a goal of their own, whether that is work, study or simply managing more of their own affairs, we plan support that draws back as their confidence grows. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us and ask in detail how we would approach things.

Richmond Village Coventry provides care and support to people in their own homes in and around Bedworth. We work with older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people with physical disabilities or loss of sight or hearing, and people managing mental health conditions. That is a wide remit and it only works if we start by listening. No two of these situations call for the same response, so we sit down with the person, find out what they want their days to look like and where help is genuinely needed, and build the visits from there. It takes longer at the outset and saves a great deal of trouble later. The support might be personal care, medication, meals, shopping, getting out of the house, household tasks, or simply company for somebody who lives alone. We keep the same carers with the same households as far as the rota allows, because familiarity is what makes the arrangement comfortable rather than intrusive. We are The Willows Supported Living, based in Bedworth and supporting people in their own homes across Warwickshire. We work with older people and with younger adults, including adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults and people with physical disabilities, and our starting point is that support should widen what someone can do rather than take it over. Much of our work is about ordinary life. We support people to manage their own home, to cook, to shop, to handle appointments and correspondence, to take part in activities they enjoy and to keep up relationships that matter to them. Where personal care is needed we provide it with proper regard for privacy and dignity. Where someone wants to take on more for themselves, we step back at their pace and stay available. We plan support with the person, in their words, and we involve families and other professionals when the person wants that. Communication is central to the work, so we take time to learn how each person expresses preferences and discomfort, and we adapt rather than expecting them to. For people with physical disabilities we pay close attention to mobility and to the arrangements that make independence possible. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. The measure we return to is whether the people we support have more choice and more control because we are involved.

Warwick Disability Support provides care and support in people's own homes in Warwick and the surrounding area. Our approach is to build support around the individual rather than to offer a fixed package and expect people to fit into it. We support adults with physical disabilities, helping with personal care, mobility and getting out into the world, and doing it in a way that leaves the person deciding how things are done rather than having that decided for them. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where communication suited to the person, a dependable routine and support that builds skills rather than replacing them make the greatest difference. We support people living with mental health conditions, where a steady, trusting relationship and staff who notice early changes matter most, and older adults who need help with the everyday tasks that have become harder, including washing and dressing, medication, meals and getting about safely. We support people living with dementia and younger adults too, planning around what each person actually wants from their week. We keep the team around each person as small and consistent as we can manage. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Our work covers older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals, shopping and getting out and about, and adults living with dementia, where familiarity and continuity do most of the work. We also support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people living with mental ill health, people with physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss. A number of the people we support are younger adults who want help that reduces as their confidence grows. Every package begins with a proper conversation at home, with the person and with whoever they want present, and we write down what matters to them and not only what tasks need doing. We plan our rounds so that calls arrive at sensible times, and we keep the same care workers with the same households wherever the rota allows. We are a home care agency based in Rugby, supporting adults in their own homes across the town and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. Our visits range from a single short call each day through to several hours of support, arranged to fit the person's routine rather than our convenience. Most of our work is with older people who want to carry on living at home and need a hand with the everyday business of getting through the day: washing and dressing, medication taken on time, a proper meal cooked, the shopping fetched, the laundry done, and getting out to appointments or into town with some company on the way. We support people living with dementia, where familiar faces arriving at predictable times achieve more than any amount of technique, so we keep the same care workers with the same households as far as the rota allows. We also support people living with sight or hearing loss, where announcing ourselves clearly and giving information in a usable form is part of the job, and younger adults who want help that reduces over time. Our care workers are recruited with full checks and references, trained before working alone and properly supervised. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Please get in touch.

We are Excel World Care, and we support adults in their own homes in Rugby and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire. What we offer is straightforward: dependable visits from care workers who know you, at times that suit your day. Most of our work is with older people who want to carry on living at home and need a hand with the everyday business of getting through the day. That means help with washing and dressing, medication taken on time, a proper meal cooked, the shopping fetched, the laundry done, and getting out to appointments or into town with some company on the way. Company matters as much as the tasks. Loneliness does real harm, and a care worker who sits down for a cup of tea, looks at the photographs and remembers what was said last week is doing something genuinely useful. We also support younger adults who need help to run their own household and want that help to reduce over time. We visit and talk before anything begins, we agree what the calls are for and what matters most, and we keep the rota as steady as we can so that people know who is coming. Our care workers are recruited with full checks and trained before working alone. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Please ring us.

CO Remote Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Nuneaton and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. We work with older people, younger adults, people living with dementia and people with physical disabilities. Most people come to us because something at home has become harder than it was, and they want help that makes staying there possible rather than a move nobody has chosen. We try to provide exactly that and no more, because doing things for somebody that they can still manage takes something away from them. Everything starts with a visit and an unhurried conversation. What does the day look like now, what has become difficult, and what would the person rather keep doing for themselves. From that we agree who comes, when and what they do, with family or an advocate involved whenever the person wants them there. Visits cover personal care, help with medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting to appointments, and company for people whose days have grown very quiet. For those living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting and work at their pace. Where somebody has a physical disability we look closely at equipment, transfers and how the home is arranged. We are strict about timekeeping, because waiting in for somebody who does not arrive as promised is genuinely distressing. Please give us a ring if you would like to talk about support in the Nuneaton area.

We are the Warwickshire reablement team, based in Bedworth and working with older people in their own homes across the county. Reablement is short term and deliberately so. We come in at the point where managing at home has become difficult, usually after a fall, an illness or a spell in hospital, and we help people get back to doing as much for themselves as they can. That might mean practising getting in and out of a chair safely, rebuilding confidence on the stairs, sorting out equipment, or simply being there while somebody tries something again for the first time since they were unwell. The principle underneath all of it is that doing less for people, so they can do more for themselves, is the point. It is slower in the moment and it is harder than taking over, and it is what makes the difference between someone needing long term support and someone managing on their own again. We work closely with therapists, district nurses, GPs and social workers, and we are honest when reablement has gone as far as it usefully can and ongoing support is what is actually needed. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are glad of it, and we know it has to be earned again with every person we work with. Please get in touch if you would like to talk through what we do.

We are Inkwells Healthcare, and we provide care in people's own homes across Coventry and the wider Warwickshire area. Coming to you rather than asking you to move somewhere unfamiliar is the whole point of what we do, and we try never to lose sight of that. The people we support include older adults who need a hand with everyday tasks, and adults living with a physical disability who want help that fits around their own routine rather than ours. We also work with younger adults, whose circumstances and goals are often quite different. Visits might cover personal care, support with medication, help getting up in the morning or settling at night, meal preparation, shopping, or time spent together doing something ordinary and enjoyable. Before we begin, we sit down with the person and, where they wish, with their family, to agree what help is wanted and what is not. That plan belongs to them. We keep it under review, because needs rarely stay still, and we would rather adjust early than wait for a problem to appear. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet received an overall rating from them. We are glad to answer questions about our training, our checks and the way we handle concerns when they are raised. Honest Senior Care provides support at home for people in Kenilworth and the surrounding part of Warwickshire. Most of the people we visit are older, many are living with dementia, and we also support younger adults. The name sets a standard we have to live up to. It means telling families what we can and cannot do rather than agreeing to everything and hoping. It means saying when a different kind of support would serve somebody better, and saying when a plan could be reduced because a person has got their confidence back. And it means ringing you when something has gone wrong rather than waiting to be asked. Everything begins with a proper conversation in your own home about your routine, your preferences and where help would make the biggest difference. Visits can cover personal care and medication, cooking, shopping and housework, getting out to appointments, or company for somebody who sees very few people in a week. We keep care teams small so the same faces turn up, because a familiar carer at the door changes the character of the whole visit, and for a person living with dementia it matters even more. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat it as the standard we are expected to hold rather than something to advertise. If you would like to talk about care at home in this area, please get in touch.

Arranging and funding home care in Warwickshire
What the CQC rating actually covers
Every one of the 135 agencies listed here is registered with the Care Quality Commission, and the ratings across Warwickshire include Outstanding, Good and Requires Improvement alongside agencies not yet rated. Inspectors judge whether a service is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led, and the detail sitting under those headings is where the useful information lives. Look for what the report says about punctuality of calls, medicines administration and recording, staff training and how the registered manager responded to concerns. Check the inspection date as well, because a report a few years old may describe a different manager and a different staff team entirely.
Matching an agency to the person
Agencies are less interchangeable than their websites suggest. Some concentrate on short personal care visits, others provide longer companionship calls, dementia support, overnight cover, live in arrangements or help settling somebody back home after a hospital stay. Providers in this listing such as Caremark Warwick, Cornerstone Authentic Care and All Aspects Care work in different ways and cover different parts of the county. Confirm directly that carers travel to the address in question, since a Warwickshire wide entry does not guarantee every village is served, and ask who writes the care plan and how quickly it can be changed.
The questions that predict reliability
Ask how many different carers are likely to attend in a fortnight and whether a small consistent team is kept for each person. Find out how the agency tells families when a call is running late, who answers the telephone on a Sunday, and how complaints are recorded and followed up. Ask how often care plans are formally reviewed and what happens when needs increase suddenly. Continuity of staffing is what families comment on most once care is under way, and it is far easier to establish before signing than afterwards.
Choosing between home care agencies in Warwickshire
The care needs assessment
Anyone who appears to need care and support can ask for a free care needs assessment, whatever their savings. A practitioner from Warwickshire County Council will discuss washing, dressing, eating, taking medication, moving safely indoors and staying connected with other people, then record which needs are eligible for support. Family carers are entitled to an assessment of their own needs, which is a separate right worth exercising. Even where a family expects to fund care privately, the written record gives every agency the same clear starting point.
What care costs and who contributes
Where needs are found eligible, a financial assessment of income and capital follows. The council may fund care in full, fund part of it with a contribution from the person receiving it, or conclude that the care is privately funded. Those who qualify can take a direct payment and commission their own agency instead of accepting one arranged on their behalf. Privately funded home care is normally charged by the hour, with higher rates at weekends, on bank holidays and for short calls, while live in support is quoted weekly. Ask for the full schedule of charges, minimum visit lengths and notice periods in writing before you commit to anything.

What is the difference between a care home and a nursing home?
A residential care home provides accommodation with personal care, so staff assist with washing, dressing, meals and medication in a communal setting. A nursing home offers all of that and also has registered nurses on duty, allowing it to meet clinical needs such as complex wound care, tube feeding or an unstable long term condition. Home care sits apart from both, since support comes to the person in their own house. Plenty of families in Warwickshire use home care for a long period before either kind of home is considered.
What should I ask a home care agency in Warwickshire before agreeing to visits?
Ask how many different carers will attend and whether a consistent team is kept for each person. Check how late calls are communicated, who is contactable at weekends and how complaints are investigated and recorded. Ask to see a sample care plan and find out how quickly it can be revised when needs change. Request written confirmation of hourly rates, weekend and bank holiday charges, minimum visit lengths and the notice period.
How do I arrange a care needs assessment in Warwickshire?
Contact the adult social care team at Warwickshire County Council and explain what has become difficult at home. The assessment is free and available to anyone who appears to need care and support, whatever their income or savings. A practitioner will talk through daily tasks, safety and wellbeing, either at home or by telephone, and produce a written record of eligible needs. Ask for a carer's assessment for yourself at the same time if you provide regular support.
Can Warwickshire County Council pay for home care?
It may, once a care needs assessment has established that the person has eligible needs. A financial assessment then considers income and capital, and the outcome may be care funded in full, funded in part with a personal contribution, or paid for privately. Families who qualify for support can request a direct payment and choose their own agency. Asking for the assessments costs nothing and does not commit you to any provider.
How far ahead should I start arranging home care in Warwickshire?
Begin as soon as daily tasks start becoming unmanageable rather than waiting for a crisis. Well regarded agencies frequently have limited capacity in particular towns, and arranging an assessment, comparing providers and agreeing a plan can take a few weeks. Hospital discharge compresses that timetable considerably. Reading inspection reports carefully is much easier before the decision becomes urgent.
