We are a home care agency based in Rugby, providing care and support to people in their own homes across Warwickshire. Our work is about making it possible for people to stay where they are settled, with help that fits around the life they already have. Most of the people we visit are older adults. We help with washing and dressing, with medication, with preparing meals and with the everyday tasks that have quietly become harder to manage alone. We support people living with dementia, where sending familiar carers at familiar times is the single most useful thing we can do, so we try hard to keep the same small team visiting the same households. We also support younger adults, where our role is generally to back somebody's independence rather than to manage it for them. We agree each plan with the person at the start, write it down together and review it as things change, particularly after a spell in hospital. Some households want one short visit a day, others need several calls, and we would rather adjust an arrangement properly than let it drift out of date. Our carers are checked before they begin, trained for the work they do and supported by senior staff who can be reached when questions come up.
