About Us
We are a nursing home in East Grinstead, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with everyday life. Having nurses in the building at every hour means changes in someone's health are noticed and dealt with early, and it lifts a level of responsibility that families have often been carrying alone for a long time.
Most of the people who live here are older, and we also care for younger adults whose health needs make nursing care necessary. We support people with complex physical disabilities, working closely with therapists, district nurses and hospital teams so that treatment, equipment and positioning are properly joined up rather than left to chance. Comfort is not a small matter in this kind of care, and it takes attention rather than good intentions.
Respite stays are available too, whether that is a planned break for a family carer or a period of recovery after illness or a spell in hospital.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We keep asking residents and their relatives what could be better, because the most useful feedback rarely arrives on an inspection day.
If you are looking at nursing care in this part of West Sussex, you would be very welcome to visit, meet the team and see the place for yourself.
