About Us

Park Manor Care Home is a nursing home in Poole. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, including people with a physical disability, and we offer respite stays alongside permanent places.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet been given an overall rating. We would rather tell you that here than have a family come across it later, and we would encourage anyone considering us to visit, meet the manager and ask whatever they want.

What we can describe is how the home works. Nurses are on duty at all hours, so medication, skin care, nutrition, pain and mobility are managed on site and changes in health are picked up early rather than after they have become serious.

Where somebody has a physical disability, we try to notice when life is quietly narrowing in the name of safety, because it is always easier to bring things to a person than to get them out, and support that shrinks a person's world is not good care.

Please come and look round if you are considering nursing care locally.
