About Us
Here at Chalgrove Care and Nursing Home, we provide nursing and residential care for people living in Poole and the wider Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in each and every day to make sure the people in our care feel safe, valued and at home.
We support a wide range of needs under one roof. Whether someone is living with dementia, a mental health condition, a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, we work hard to understand each person as an individual and shape their care around what matters most to them. We also welcome younger adults, as well as people who come to us for a period of respite, giving family carers a much needed break while their loved one receives attentive, skilled support.
Our nursing care is available around the clock, which means families can have confidence that clinical needs are met promptly and professionally at any hour. Alongside that, our residential care offers a warm and settled environment for older people who need day to day support but want to maintain as much independence as possible.
Dementia care sits at the heart of much of what we do. We take time to learn about a person's history, routines and preferences, because we know that familiar and meaningful experiences can make a real difference to wellbeing and quality of life.
We believe good care comes from genuinely knowing the people who live with us, and we encourage residents, families and friends to be involved and to raise anything on their minds at any time. If you would like to find out more about what we offer or come and see us for yourself, we would be very glad to hear from you.
