About Us
Nesscare provides care and support to people in their own homes in Ulverston and the surrounding area of Westmorland and Furness. We work with older people and with younger adults who need help to live independently.
In a rural area, care at home has to be dependable above all else. Rounds are long, distances are real and there is often no easy alternative if a visit is missed, so we plan our rotas around reliability and keep the same carers going to the same households. That consistency also means a carer comes to know somebody well enough to notice when they are eating less, sleeping badly or becoming confused.
Support might include help with getting up and going to bed, washing and dressing, assistance with medication, preparing meals, help around the house and shopping, and getting out to appointments or into town.
