About Us
Heydays Care and Support works with people in their own homes in Barrow in Furness and the surrounding area. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia or mental ill health, people with physical disabilities or sight and hearing loss, and adults with a learning disability or who are autistic.
Every household needs something slightly different, so we begin with a conversation rather than a package. We ask how somebody wants their day to run, what has become difficult and what they would still rather manage themselves. Support might be a call first thing for washing, dressing and breakfast, several visits across the day, help with medication, support to get out to appointments, or a longer visit so a family carer can rest properly.
Whatever we agree goes into plain writing and gets revised when circumstances change, not left in place because it was arranged months ago.
