About Us
We provide care at home in Carnforth and the surrounding area, supporting older people and younger adults who need a hand to manage in their own houses.
Our work is simple to describe. We send trained carers to people who need help at home, and we arrange that help around the person rather than around our own convenience. For some that is a single call in the morning to help with washing, dressing and getting the day started, along with making sure medication is taken. For others it is more than that, with visits through the day, help with meals and shopping and a hand keeping the house in order. Sometimes what matters most is simply that somebody reliable comes through the door and notices how a person is.
We work across a small town and the countryside around it, which means reliability has to be planned rather than promised. We would rather be honest about which places and times we can cover than commit to visits we cannot keep.
Where we do commit, we try to send the same carers consistently. A carer who has visited for months sees the small changes that signal somebody is becoming unwell, and the person is spared explaining themselves to a stranger.
