About Avidity Care
We are Avidity Care, a home care agency based in Staines upon Thames and supporting adults across this part of Surrey. We visit people in their own homes, providing the help that makes staying there workable. We support older people, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment. We have kept our focus narrow rather than claiming to cover everything, and home care for older and disabled adults is what we do. The work is practical: help with washing and dressing, support with medication, meals prepared properly, shopping, housework, and a hand getting out of the house. For some people that is one call a day and for others it is several. Because we are guests in somebody's home, they set the terms. We ask how things are usually done and we do them that way rather than arriving with a system of our own. We agree the times that suit and we keep to them, since a late call is no small matter when somebody is waiting to get up. Where somebody has a sight or hearing impairment, we pay attention to how they prefer to be given information rather than treating that as a detail. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to talk.
