About Britannia Homecare

Britannia Homecare supports people in their own homes in Horley and across the surrounding parts of Surrey. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with adults who have a learning disability or are autistic, with people managing mental health conditions, with people who have physical disabilities or sight and hearing loss, and with people whose difficulties have involved alcohol or drugs. Because those situations are so different, we start with a conversation rather than a package. What is hard at the moment, what would you rather do yourself, what would genuinely make the week easier, and who else needs to be involved. The plan follows from that and changes as the person does. In practice our visits cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, housework and getting out and about, and for many households the value is as much in the reliability as in the tasks. We keep the team around each person small and familiar, and we give carers enough time to do a visit properly. We work alongside GPs, community teams, social workers and families, and we raise concerns early rather than waiting to be asked. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking at care at home in Surrey for yourself or for a relative, please contact us and we will arrange to come and see you.
