About Greenview Hall

Greenview Hall is a nursing home in Woking, Surrey. We provide nursing care for older people and for younger adults whose health needs mean that qualified nurses should be available at any hour of the day or night. Many of our residents live with dementia, often alongside physical illness or reduced mobility, and a number have sight or hearing loss. Caring well in those circumstances calls for clinical skill and for close attention to the person. We watch for pain that cannot easily be described, keep the surroundings calm and easy to make sense of, and adapt how we communicate as needs change rather than assuming that what worked last year still works now. Care is planned with residents and their families. Meals, sleep, privacy, company and the ordinary rhythm of the day belong in that plan alongside medication and observations. We work closely with GPs, community nurses, therapists and hospital teams so that treatment is prompt and, wherever possible, nobody has to move. Respite stays are available for families needing a break and for people requiring nursing support for a short period. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking at nursing care, please contact us and come to see the home for yourself.
