About The Maples
The Maples is a nursing home in Salford, caring for adults who need nursing support alongside help with everyday life. Having qualified nurses on the team means we can look after people whose health needs would be beyond a residential home, and that residents are not moved on each time those needs change. We support older adults with ongoing conditions, managing medication, nutrition, skin care, pain and comfort while helping with washing, dressing and mobility in a way that keeps as much as possible in the resident's own hands. We care for residents with physical disabilities, adapting how we assist with moving and handling so that dignity is not the price of safety, and residents with a visual or hearing impairment, adjusting how we communicate and explain what we are doing. We also support younger adults whose conditions require nursing care, planning their days around their own interests. Respite stays are available for families needing a planned break or extra support after a spell in hospital. We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. Please come and see the home, meet the team and ask us whatever you need to know before deciding anything.
