About Us
Forest Care Village Elstree and Borehamwood is a nursing home providing both nursing and residential care for older people and younger adults. We support people living with dementia, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and we offer respite stays alongside permanent places.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We would rather you had that from us than came across it after a visit. The inspection identified things that fell short of what the people living here are entitled to expect, and we have accepted those findings. If you are considering the home, ask exactly what was found and exactly what has changed since.
Offering both nursing and residential care means people do not have to move on when their health changes, which for a great many families is the most important thing a home can provide. Nurses are on duty at all hours, so medication, skin care, nutrition and pain are managed on site.
Please visit before you decide anything. Read the inspection report in full and form your own view.
