About Us

Winifred Dell is a nursing home in Brentwood, caring for older people who need nursing support alongside help with daily life. Many of those who move in have reached a point where staying at home is no longer manageable, and our aim is that the change feels like arriving somewhere rather than leaving somewhere behind.

Nursing care here is available at all hours, delivered by registered nurses working alongside care staff who know the people they look after well. We have particular experience in supporting people living with dementia, where consistency, patience and a calm environment matter as much as any clinical intervention. We also offer respite stays for people who need nursing care for a short period or whose usual carer needs a break.

We take the view that a nursing home should still feel like a home. People keep their own routines where they can, bring their own belongings, and decide how they want to spend the day.
