About Us
We are Wema Health Care and Support, a home care agency based in Leatherhead and working across Surrey. Our job is to make staying at home a realistic choice for people who need a hand, whether that is a single visit each morning or a full pattern of support through the day and evening.
For older people we help with washing, dressing and personal care, with medication, with meals and with the ordinary running of a home. We also go out with people, because a trip to the shops or a regular walk often does more good than anything we do indoors. Where somebody is living with dementia we keep the same small team visiting, follow the routine that already works and take our lead from the person rather than pushing them through ours.
We support adults with a physical disability, including safe moving and handling and the confidence to manage as much as possible independently, and we work with younger adults who want support that fits around study, work and their own social life instead of dictating it.
Every package begins with a conversation and a proper look at what is needed at home, and it is reviewed as things change, because needs rarely stay still.
