About Us
We at Surrey and Hants Domiciliary Care Agency are proud to provide trusted home care across Hindhead and the surrounding Surrey communities, supporting people to live well and safely in the place they know best: their own home.
Based in the GU postcode area of Hindhead, our team works throughout the local neighbourhoods, reaching residents in their own familiar surroundings. Rather than asking people to adjust to a new environment, we bring compassionate, professional support directly to the front door, allowing each person we care for to remain comfortably at home, close to family, friends, neighbours, and the routines that bring them comfort and confidence.
Our specialisms reflect the diverse needs of the people we support. We provide dedicated older person care, helping individuals maintain independence as their needs evolve, and home care tailored to the rhythm of daily life. We also support adults living with learning disabilities and autism, those with physical disabilities, and people with visual or hearing impairments. We extend our support to younger adults too, recognising that care needs can arise at any stage of life and should always be delivered with dignity, patience, and respect.
In practice, this means our care is never one size fits all. For an older person, support might focus on companionship, mobility, medication prompts, and help with personal care that protects dignity at every step. For someone with a learning disability or autism, it might mean consistent, familiar faces who understand routines and communication preferences. For a person with sensory impairment, it means adapting how we communicate and ensuring the home environment feels safe and navigable. For families, it means knowing that a thoughtful, capable team is genuinely listening and responding to what matters most.
Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission awarded us an overall rating of Good, with Good ratings across every domain assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led. This consistent picture reflects a commitment that runs through every visit we make, the assurance that care is delivered safely, that outcomes genuinely improve daily life, that warmth sits at the heart of every interaction, that we adapt thoughtfully when needs change, and that strong leadership underpins it all.
If you are exploring home care options for someone you love in Hindhead or the wider Surrey and Hampshire area, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Choosing care is a significant decision, and we are here to listen, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about the next step. Whatever your circumstances, you will find a team ready to support your family with kindness, professionalism, and genuine understanding.
