About Us
We are a home care agency based in Guildford, supporting people to carry on living in their own homes across this part of Surrey. We visit older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia or with mental ill health and people with a physical disability.
Care at home should fit around the life somebody already has. We begin with a visit and a proper conversation about how the day goes now, where it has become difficult and what kind of help would be welcome. From that we agree a plan with the person and, if they want them involved, with their family, and we write it down plainly so that everybody knows what has been agreed.
Support can include help with getting up and settling at night, washing and dressing, prompting or assisting with medication, preparing meals, laundry and light housework, shopping, and getting out to appointments or to see people. Some households need a short daily call and others need several visits a day.
We keep the same carers going to the same homes wherever we can, because trust takes time to build and a familiar carer is the one who notices when something is not right.
