About AM2PM Quality Care
We at AM2PM Quality Care are proud to provide compassionate home care across Banstead and the surrounding Surrey communities, supporting people to live well in the place they know best: their own home. Our team delivers tailored support that adapts to each person's daily rhythm, preferences, and wishes. Operating from the SM postcode area, we serve households throughout Banstead and neighbouring villages, bringing care directly to familiar living rooms, kitchens, and gardens. Because our support takes place within your own four walls, there is no upheaval, no unfamiliar surroundings, and no need to leave the community you love. We work flexibly around the routines that matter to you, whether that means a gentle morning visit, companionship through the afternoon, or reassuring support at the close of the day. Our specialisms reflect the breadth of need we are equipped to meet. We support older people who wish to remain independent at home, and we provide dementia care that prioritises calm, consistency, and dignity for those living with memory loss. We assist adults with learning disabilities and autism, offering predictable, person centred support that respects individuality. Our team also works with people experiencing mental health challenges, providing steady, non judgemental encouragement. For those with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments, we adapt our communication and practical assistance to suit each person's abilities. We extend support to younger adults navigating complex needs, and to individuals working through challenges associated with alcohol or drug misuse, always meeting people where they are with respect and warmth. In practice, this means families can expect carers who take time to understand the whole person, not just a list of tasks. From help with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and mobility, through to companionship and accompanied outings, our approach is shaped around what makes each resident feel safe, valued, and themselves. We communicate openly with relatives so that loved ones living further away can feel confident their family member is well supported. The Care Quality Commission has rated AM2PM Quality Care as Good overall, with Good ratings across the Safe, Effective, Caring, and Responsive domains following the inspection dated 28 June 2018. The Well led domain was rated as Requires Improvement, and we view this as an honest indicator of areas where leadership and oversight continue to develop. For families, the Good ratings across day to day care, safety, and responsiveness offer reassurance that the support provided in the home meets recognised standards of quality and compassion. If you are exploring home care for a parent, partner, or relative in Banstead, we warmly invite you to get in touch. Choosing care is a deeply personal decision, and we are here to listen, answer your questions, and help you understand what tailored support at home could look like for your loved one. Whatever stage of the journey you are at, you are welcome to reach out, and we will respond with the kindness and clarity your family deserves.

What the inspectors found
A plain English summary of the Care Quality Commission inspection behind the current rating of AM2PM Quality Care Limited. Report published 29 June 2018.
- 23 May and 5 June 2018
- First assessment of the service
Safe
Part of the inspection was prompted by an anonymous concern that staff had not been checked or trained well enough. Inspectors found the provider's recruitment and training were robust enough to reduce that risk. There were robust procedures to protect people from harm and abuse, and staff knew how to recognise and report abuse. People and their relatives said they felt safe with the staff who visited and had no concerns about late or missed visits.
Effective
Inspectors found the registered manager and staff followed the Mental Capacity Act 2005 code of practice. Where the agency was responsible for meals, people were supported to eat healthily and staff took account of their food and drink preferences. People received the support they needed to stay healthy and to see healthcare services.
Caring
People and their relatives told inspectors that staff always treated them with dignity and respect. For example, staff kept people's privacy when supporting them with personal care. People were supported to have as much choice and control as possible, in the least restrictive way.
Responsive
Inspectors found people received support that was personal to them and met their individual needs. People were involved in planning their care, and each person had an up to date care plan centred on them. People felt comfortable raising concerns, and the service had suitable ways to deal with concerns and formal complaints.
Well-led
CQC rated this area Requires improvement because records about people using the service, staff and the running of the service were not always detailed enough or easy to find. Risk management plans for staff to follow were also not always detailed enough, although risk assessments had been carried out. The registered manager agreed to review the records and the risk management plans, and CQC will check progress at the next inspection. Inspectors also found an open culture, regular feedback from people, relatives and staff, and staff who felt valued and supported by the registered manager.
What people told the inspectors
People using the service and their relatives told inspectors they were extremely happy with the standard of care and support they received from the agency.
