About Homecare First

We are Homecare First, a home care agency supporting people in Epsom and across the surrounding parts of Surrey. All of our work takes place in people's own homes, arranged around routines that already exist, because home is where a person's belongings, habits and neighbours are and staying there is what most people want. We support older people who need help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping or keeping the house in order. We support people living with dementia, where continuity of carer matters enormously, so we keep the team around each person small and make sure the face at the door is one they know. We also work with people who have a physical disability, offering practical help with mobility and daily tasks while leaving decisions where they belong, with people who have a visual or hearing impairment, and with younger adults who want assistance that makes work, study and ordinary plans possible. Support can be a short call each morning, several visits through the day, longer periods of company that give a family carer a proper break, or fuller help where needs have increased. We start with a visit and an honest conversation, we agree the detail, and we write it down clearly so expectations are shared on both sides.
