About Proxy Care Personnel

We are a home care agency based in Egham, supporting people in their own homes across Surrey. Most of the people who contact us want the same thing: to carry on living where they are, with enough help to make that safe and manageable. What that help looks like varies a good deal. It might be one visit a day for help with washing, dressing and medication, or several calls for someone whose needs are greater, or time spent on company, shopping and getting to appointments. We support older people and younger adults, and we work with people living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and visual or hearing impairments. Where someone's needs change we review the arrangement with them rather than leaving a plan to go out of date. Continuity matters more in home care than almost anything else, so we work hard to send the same carers to the same people. Knowing how a person likes things done, and noticing when they seem unwell or low, depends on that familiarity. Our carers are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and can reach a senior colleague whenever they are unsure. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you are thinking about care at home, we are happy to talk it through with no obligation, and to say so if we are not the right fit for what you need.
