About Us
Surely Yours Healthcare is a home care agency in Southend on Sea, supporting adults in their own homes across the town.
We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment and people managing a mental health condition. Calls range from a single short visit each morning through to several a day, covering personal care, medication, meals, help to move about the home safely, shopping, appointments and company.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have not yet been given an overall rating. We would rather set that out here than have a family come across it later, and we would encourage anyone considering us to meet the manager, ask for references and judge us on how we actually operate.
A good deal of the value in regular visits lies in what a familiar person notices. Post building up, a fridge emptier than it should be, a friend who has stopped being mentioned. We expect our care workers to pass that on rather than finish the notes and move to the next call.
