About Us

We at Stanford Wellbeing are proud to provide compassionate home care across Leigh on Sea and the wider Southend on Sea community, supporting people to live safely and comfortably in the place they know best: their own home.

Based in the SS postcode area on the Essex coast, we serve families throughout Leigh on Sea and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Delivering care in the familiar surroundings of home means our clients remain close to their memories, their gardens, their favourite chair by the window, and the community they have known for years. For many, this continuity is a lifeline, and we consider it a privilege to be welcomed across the threshold.

Our team supports a broad range of needs, which means we can often continue caring for someone as their circumstances change. We specialise in older person care and home care, providing help with everyday tasks such as personal care, medication support, meal preparation, and companionship. For those living with dementia, we take a patient, person centred approach, focusing on routine, reassurance, and the small details that help someone feel calm and understood. Our mental health support is delivered with sensitivity and without judgement, whilst our experience with physical disability, visual and hearing impairment, and younger adults means we tailor every visit to the individual rather than the diagnosis. Families tell us that the greatest relief comes from knowing a familiar, trusted carer will arrive as planned, ready to listen as well as to help.

Our commitment to quality is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of Good across every domain assessed at our most recent inspection in June 2021, covering how safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led our care is. For families weighing up options, this consistent picture offers meaningful reassurance that the standards we set for ourselves are being independently recognised.

Choosing home care is a deeply personal decision, and we understand the weight of that choice. If you are exploring support for a loved one in Leigh on Sea or nearby, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We will take the time to listen, answer your questions honestly, and help you feel confident about the next step, whatever you decide.
