About Us

Newday Healthcare Professionals provides care and support in people's own homes in Leigh on Sea and the surrounding area. We visit older people and people with physical disabilities.

We would rather be straight with you from the start. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us as requires improvement. We are not going to write around that. The findings were taken seriously, there is an improvement plan we are working through, and if you are considering us you should ask directly what has changed and what is still outstanding. What we are trying to do has not changed. The work covers help with washing and dressing, medication prompted or given, meals, moving safely about the house, laundry, shopping, appointments and unhurried company. Where a physical disability affects how somebody gets about, we work around the person and their home rather than expecting them to adapt to us, and we are careful that help with one task does not quietly become help with everything.

Reliability underpins all of it. People arrange their whole day around a care call, and treating that casually is not a small failing.

Genuine improvement comes from listening to the households we visit and then acting rather than recording. That is where our attention is.
