About Us

Genesyscare Healthcare supports people in their own homes in Sittingbourne and across this part of Kent. We work with older people, people living with mental ill health and younger adults.

Nearly everyone who contacts us wants to carry on living where they are, and our job is to make that practical rather than to take anything over. Depending on what is needed, that could be one call each morning to help somebody wash, dress and get the day started, several visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals and company, or longer periods of support where needs are more constant.

Mental health support at home looks different from ordinary personal care. Often the most useful thing is simply reliability. Somebody who turns up when they said they would, who knows the person, who does not make a fuss on a bad day and does not disappear on a good one. Alongside that we help with medication, appointments, paperwork, shopping and keeping a household going.

We start by asking what help is wanted rather than working from a form, and we review plans properly when circumstances change rather than letting them go stale.

We work closely with community mental health teams and GPs, and we raise concerns early.

Please get in touch if you would like to talk through what support might look like.
