About Us
We are Joghide Home Care, based in Hereford and supporting people in their own homes across Herefordshire and the surrounding area.
The people we work with cover a wide range. Older people and people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition or an eating disorder, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, younger adults building independent lives, and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug use.
Working across a largely rural county means being honest about distance. We plan rounds around real travel times so that visits are not cut short to make up a schedule, and we would rather decline a package than take one on and deliver it badly. For people living some way from the nearest town, our carer may be the main contact of the day.
Support ranges from a short daily call to several visits covering personal care, medication, meals and help getting out. Where somebody's needs call for specialist understanding, we prepare the carers going in rather than leaving them to work it out.
We keep the same carers with the same households wherever we can, and we liaise with GPs, district nurses and social workers.
Our most recent CQC overall rating is good. Please get in touch to discuss what would help.
