About Us

We are Faith Home Care, and we support adults in their own homes in Hereford and across Herefordshire, including the more rural parts of the county where arranging reliable visits takes proper planning. Most of our work is with older people who want to carry on living at home and need a hand with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and getting out to appointments or into town. We also support people with physical disabilities, taking care over equipment and over how each person prefers to be helped, and people living with sight or hearing loss, where how we announce ourselves, speak and give information makes a real difference. Some of those we support are younger adults who want help that allows them to do more for themselves over time. We visit and talk before anything starts, because you cannot plan somebody's care from a form. We agree what the calls are for and what matters most, we write it down, and we revisit it when things change. We keep rotas as steady as we can so that people know who is coming, and if we are delayed we ring.
