About Us

Greenbank Care provides care at home for people in Liskeard and the surrounding parts of Cornwall. We help with as much or as little as somebody needs, from a short call each day to several visits, and we build the arrangement around the household.

Most of our work is with older people. We help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals and drinks, laundry, shopping and keeping the home comfortable. We also help people get out of the house, to an appointment, to the shops or simply for some air, and we make time for the conversation that goes with it. In a rural area getting out takes planning, and it is often the part people miss most.

For people living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting wherever we can, follow the routine the household already has and avoid moving things about in a house somebody knows by heart. We support adults with mental health needs, where reliability and respect do most of the good, and where somebody has sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and always say who we are.
