About Us
We are a residential home in Telford supporting adults who need somewhere settled to live, including younger adults and people living with mental health conditions.
The house is run as a household rather than an institution. People living here have their own rooms and their own things, and they have a say in how the place works, from what is cooked to how the week is arranged. For adults who have often had decisions taken on their behalf, that ordinary degree of control is much of the point.
Support is built around the individual. For some people it centres on keeping well: medication, appointments, recognising the early signs that things are becoming difficult and having staff nearby who know them well enough to see it. For others it is about doing more, whether that means work, study, volunteering, managing money with a hand from us or simply getting out regularly and keeping up with family. We keep our staffing as consistent as we can, because trust is slow to build and quickly lost.
We offer respite stays as well as longer places, which can give a family a planned break while the person stays somewhere properly supported.
We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and we are happy to discuss that openly. If you are looking for a place for yourself or someone in your family, please come and visit and ask us anything.
