About Kingsleigh

We at Kingsleigh are proud to offer compassionate residential care in the heart of Woking, Surrey, welcoming older adults and those with complex needs into a home that feels genuinely their own. As a dedicated residential care home, we combine warmth, dignity, and expertise to support every person who joins our community. Nestled within the GU postcode area of Woking, our setting benefits from the friendly, well connected character of this Surrey town. Residents enjoy the calm of a familiar community whilst remaining close to local amenities, green spaces, and the transport links that make visiting easy for family and friends. The surroundings offer a reassuring sense of place, helping new residents settle in and feel at home from the moment they arrive. Our specialisms reflect the breadth of care we are able to provide under one roof. We support older people who require day to day residential care, as well as individuals living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and physical disabilities. We also welcome guests for respite stays, offering families peace of mind when a loved one needs short term support or when regular carers need a well deserved break. In practice, this means our approach is thoughtfully personalised. Care plans are shaped around the individual, not the diagnosis, so residents are known for who they are, what they enjoy, and how they wish to spend their days. For families, this translates into open communication, gentle routines, and the reassurance that specialist understanding sits behind every interaction. Whether someone is joining us for long term residential care or a shorter respite stay, our aim is the same: to preserve independence wherever possible, to encourage meaningful daily activity, and to offer sensitive support during the moments when it is needed most. For those living with dementia, this means familiar routines and calm, patient companionship. For adults with learning disabilities or autism, it means a predictable, respectful environment where individuality is celebrated. For residents managing mental health conditions or physical disabilities, it means a considered balance of encouragement and practical assistance. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our CQC Overall rating of Good, awarded across all five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission offers meaningful reassurance. It signals that independent inspectors have found the standards of safety, care, leadership, and responsiveness to meet the expectations set for care homes in England. We take pride in this recognition and continue to build on it every day. Choosing a care home is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the emotional weight that comes with it. If you are considering Kingsleigh for yourself or a loved one, we warmly invite you to get in touch, ask questions, and learn more about the community we have built here in Woking. Whatever your circumstances, you will be met with kindness, honesty, and a genuine willingness to help you find the right way forward.
