About Us
Hempstalls Hall Care Home provides residential care in Newcastle Under Lyme for older people and for younger adults who need support with daily living. We also support people living with dementia and people living with physical disabilities.
We work at the pace of the people who live here. That means breakfast when someone wakes rather than when a trolley arrives, a day shaped around what a person actually enjoys, and help with washing, dressing, medication, meals and mobility given in a way that leaves dignity intact.
For people living with dementia we keep routines steady and faces familiar. Our staff tend to stay with us for a long time, and that continuity does more to settle somebody than any amount of process ever could. We also take trouble over the building itself, so that it is easy to understand and to move around.
Families are part of the picture rather than visitors to be managed. Come when it suits you, join us for a meal, and tell us when you think we have got something wrong, because we would far rather know.
Respite stays are available as well as permanent places.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to come and see the home.
