About Us

Park House is a residential care home in Newport Pagnell. We provide a permanent home to older people, and we also offer respite stays for those who need care for a short period or whose family carer needs a break. Most of our residents need help with washing and dressing, moving about safely, medication and meals, and reassurance that somebody is nearby at night. Many are living with dementia, and we let that shape the whole house rather than treating it as a separate department. The day follows a recognisable pattern, familiar staff are around, people keep their own belongings and habits, and somebody who is anxious gets company and time rather than correction. We also support people with physical disabilities, where equipment, seating and access decide how much independence somebody has, and people living with sight or hearing loss, where the small things matter most: announcing ourselves clearly and making sure information reaches somebody in a form they can use. Food is cooked on the premises and people are asked what they would like. There is somewhere sociable and somewhere quiet, the garden gets used when the weather allows, and visitors do not need an appointment. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please arrange to come and see us and talk to whoever is on duty.
