About Us
Linford Grange is a residential care home in Newport Pagnell, and we support a wider mix of people than many homes of our size. We care for older people, including people living with dementia, and we also support adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and younger adults.
That range works because our approach does not change from one person to the next. We take the time to learn how someone communicates, what a good day looks like for them and what makes a difficult one, and then we shape their support around that rather than around a standard routine. Where someone can do more for themselves, we look for the opportunities rather than stepping in from habit.
We also offer respite stays, both for people who need care for a short period and for family carers who need a proper rest and would rather take it knowing their relative is somewhere they know.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We are glad of that, but the measure we trust more is whether people here look at ease and whether families feel welcome to drop in unannounced. If you are considering Linford Grange, come and visit, talk to the staff and ask them about the people they support.
