About Byfield Court
Here at Byfield Court, we are a care home based in Sittingbourne, Kent, and we support adults whose needs and personalities are as varied as the people themselves. We specialise in residential care for younger adults living with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual living arrangements, or whose families and carers need time to rest. We know that moving into a care home, or even staying for a short period, is a significant step. We take that seriously. Our aim is for everyone who comes through our doors to feel that this is a place where they are genuinely known and genuinely valued, not just looked after in a general sense, but supported in ways that reflect who they are as individuals. We work closely with the people we support, as well as their families and any other professionals involved in their care, to make sure our approach fits around each person rather than the other way around. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good. That matters to us, not because of the label itself, but because it reflects the effort our team puts in every day to get things right. We are always looking at where we can do better, and we welcome honest feedback from the people we support and their loved ones. Sittingbourne is a friendly town and we are very much part of this community. We encourage the people we support to stay connected to local life in whatever way suits them, whether that is getting out and about or simply feeling at home within our walls. If you would like to find out more about Byfield Court, we would love to hear from you.
