About Us
Here at Holmer Court Residential Home, we provide a warm and caring environment for older adults in the heart of Hereford. We are proud to have received a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine commitment of our whole team to the people who live with us.
We specialise in residential care for older people, including those living with dementia, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether to recover after a period of illness or to give family carers a well earned break. Whatever brings someone to our door, we treat every individual as exactly that, an individual, with their own history, preferences and ways of living.
Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. We understand how much it matters for people living with dementia to feel safe, familiar with their surroundings and genuinely understood by the people supporting them. Our team takes the time to get to know each resident properly, building trust and continuity that makes a real difference day to day.
We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we never take that lightly. From the moment someone enquires about a place here, we aim to be open, honest and welcoming. We encourage visits, questions and involvement from family members throughout a resident's time with us, because good care does not happen in isolation.
Holmer Court is a place where people genuinely feel at home. We are proud of the community we have built here in Herefordshire, and we would always encourage anyone considering care for themselves or a loved one to come and see us in person and get a feel for who we are.
