About Us

Credenhill Court Rest Home is a residential care home near Hereford, providing a settled home for older people who need support with daily living. We care for residents living with dementia or a mental health condition, and we offer respite stays for people who need care for a shorter period.

We aim for an ordinary life with good support behind it. Residents choose when they get up, how they spend their days and what they eat. Meals are cooked on the premises and preferences are remembered. There is company and activity for those who enjoy it and no pressure on anyone who would rather have peace.

Our staff take time to learn what helps a particular resident feel settled and what unsettles them, which matters greatly for anyone living with dementia or managing a mental health condition. We ask families to tell us about a person's life, work, music and habits, because reassurance lands far better when it is familiar.

We work closely with local GPs, community nurses and mental health teams so that health concerns are dealt with quickly, and we keep families properly informed. Relatives are welcome whenever it suits them.

The Care Quality Commission most recently rated us good overall. If you are thinking about a move for yourself or a family member, please come and see us.
