About Us
Aspen Place is a nursing home in Horsham. We care for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing alongside help with daily living, including people living with dementia and people with a learning disability or autism. We also take respite bookings.
Having nurses on site means health that changes from one day to the next can be managed here rather than through repeated journeys to hospital. Alongside that, we work at keeping ordinary life going: people choose how their day runs, keep their own belongings around them, eat what they actually want and see their families whenever they like.
Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We would rather put that in front of you than leave you to discover it. We know which areas were raised, we have work under way, and we will go through the detail with any family considering us or already trusting us with a relative. Anybody weighing up this kind of decision deserves straight answers.
What we will always do is tell you when something has gone wrong and what we are doing about it, and raise it early when a relative's health is changing rather than presenting you with a decision already taken.
If you are looking at nursing or respite care in West Sussex, please come and see the home and ask us whatever you want to ask.
